raphril

Oh my gosh, y’all. I feel so BAD ignoring all my Raphril peeps lately so thought I’d give you a little sneak peek (WIP) of something I’ve been working on. I wanted to do something of 2012 Raph and April when they’re older (perhaps mid-twenties) and was going for more of a comic book feel – just April gently pulling down his mask (for what reason? I dunno. ;-p).

I realized now that I kinda gave April more of 80′s cartoon April hair but I think she pulls it off pretty well. XD

i found these in my folders and i have no context other than both of them being labelled “shut up raph”

i feel that’s enough context to explain things

“Are you sure you’re okay?” she ultimately asked, the hand that wasn’t around his shoulder reached up to brush over his cheek.

“Yeah.” he answered, hands finally moved from their lax position to wrap around her.

One on her waist, the other on her upper back and pulling her toward him to firmly press his pursed lips upon her cheek. He was pleased when April giggled as he opened his mouth a bit to give wetter kisses with the barest hints of teeth.

“Stop it!” she laughed but he could instantly tell by the tone of her voice she wanted him to do the opposite.

“Make me.” he chuckled into her neck, bopping her jaw with his snout as he moved his lips over her sensitive skin.

In a 2003 interview, Peter Laird (a co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) noted that “contrary to what some TMNT fans might fantasize, Turtles don’t mate/have love affairs with humans”

TAKE THAT LAIRD! And don’t even get me started on this:

It’s a day late, but better late than never.  Here’s a little Mother’s Day pic featuring two great moms, Cheyloe and April.

Cheyloe’s of course with her children by Donatello, Freya and Isaac, getting a hug from both of them to chase away any blues.  Then we have April with her and Raphael’s daughter, Chloe.  Both Chey and April are in their late twenties/early thirties.  Dads aren’t pictured right now, but I’ll be sure to have something special for Father’s Day!

I’ll be writing more stuff on the kids, including how they came to be.
