At least 10 dead, 7 injured following shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College
Local and national media has confirmed the alleged shooter who killed
at least 10 and injured 7 in Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore.,
is Chris Harper-Mercer, a 26-year-old resident of nearby Winchester.
Despite his identification, Douglas County sheriff says he will “never
mention his name” to prevent glorification, adding that confirmation
will come from the medical examiner’s office.
