rainy and windy

Always there for each other

She was having really hard time. She failed her driving exam for the third time, her birthday party was canceled because of the problem that happened in the restaurant, her exam results were pretty bad and the weather itself was rather depressing than relaxing. Rainy and windy, for awhile. She even fought with her best friend around some dress.

Ridiculous, she thought. But she couldn’t change anything, she was the one who was right, but her friend wasn’t gonna give in.

Her phone rang. It was B. She declined.

She loved him. So much. But right now, she was feeling really down and she preferred to just lay in her bed and cry.

She texted him tho. Shortly

“Sorry. Not in a mood right now. I don’t wanna pass the sadness on you. We’ll talk later. Love you xx”

As she dropped her phone she buried her face in the pillow and started crying.

She didn’t know what time it was. The only thing she felt was someone’s hand roaming over her, pampering her.

“B?” She shockingly yet sleepingly said, yawnin.

“Hey.” he worriedly looked at her.

“What are you doing here?” She crawled up amd sat on her bed.

He put his hand on her shoulder. “Came to see and cheer you up.”

That sentence and his smile momentary got to her. She sighed, trying to withhold her tears. “You really shouldn’t have done that. I’m okay.”

“Yeah, as if I buy it.” He came closer.

“No, please don’t.” She put a hand on his chest. As her tears again started to fall, she wanted to go to bathroom. “Excuse me.”

She tried to move away, standing up from the bed, but soon she was pulled back, crushing against his chest. He hugged her hard and kissed her head.

“Don’t withhold your emotions in front of me. Ever again.” He squeezed hard to emphasize the words. “Understood?”

He felt her nod against his chest before breaking down in sobbs. He held her tight against him.

They stood there for about five minutes, when she finally started to calm down. He coshered her back and kissed her head all the way.

She exhaled deeply and moved away from him, clearing her face with her hands.

“God, I’m so sorry, your T-shirt is ruined and…”

“Don’t even think about it.” He stopped her. He then took off his T-shirt and dried her face off with it.

“Oh, God, I look like shit” she took his T-shirt and covered her face “Don’t look at me.”

He chuckled. “Don’t be silly.” He hugged her and moved away his soaked shirt from her face.

“No, let me wash my face first.” She caught him before he leaned too close. “I’ll be right back.”

“Okay.” He smiled, sitting down on the bed.

She couldn’t believe how caring and understanding. She was so lucky to have him.

When she came back to room opened her cupboard. “I will find the biggest thing I have here so you wouldn’t catch up a cold.”

“Just come here, I don’t need anything else.” He smiled.

“Here.” She dragged a big, old hoodie.

“No.” She smiled “Let me put it on you.”

He smiled and let her teasing touches. As his head poped out of the hoodie opening she pressed her lips against his.

He gladly accepted them, parting her lips with his tongue.

She hummed satisfied, pulling away and rolling the hoodie down his stomach.

He then pulled at her hips and sat her in his lap. He leaned back against the headboard of her bed and held her around her waist.

“Hey.” He smiled.

“Hey.” She pecked his lips shortly. “I’m sorry for everything.”

“Don’t be silly. You know I’m always here for you. As you are, for me.” He placed a palm on her cheek.

She looked at his eyes with such adoration, for a few moments.

“Pink is your color, definitely.” She commented referring to her hoodie on him.

“Yeah, goes with my eyes.” He joked, making her laugh for a few moments.

“There’s my smile.” He pinched her cheek. “Now, tell me, what is wrong?”

“Everything. Just everything.” She sighed. “You sure you wanna hear it?”

“Of course dear.” he said, kissing her nose.

She pressed her forehead against his and started talking.

Inktober/Drawlloween Batch 3 - AAW

This week was special since it’s Asexual Awareness Week! Got to feature my Weather OCs and my favorite pair of skeletons that I headcanon as ace.

Batch 1

Batch 2

Batch 4

Summerweek 9 | I’ll be going to Schwarzsee this Sunday and made a wardrobe page in my bujo for this vacation. Schwarzsee is A nice place in Switzerland where it could be very hot and sunny, or cool and windy or raining all day, so one should be prepared for that. I just painted these items on paper with watercolor, cut them out and sticked them into my bujo, because the color would come through the pages.

Early morning workouts roll on. Yesterday was a climbing session on the spin bike. Levi decided to wake up before 6 and join me. This morning winter returned. Weather was pretty dicey but now that I’m signed up for The Bear every cold, hot, snowy, rainy, windy run will only prepare me for the weather possibilities of that race. After my run I shoveled the driveway during a rare snow-thunder storm. You don’t see those too often.

It was a normal night for late October. Cold, windy, rainy, dark, dreary. Perfectly normal.

           Except it wasn’t, really.

You were lounging on the couch, watching a movie with one of your roommates, Jaebum. Your parents had made a big fuss when they found out you’d be rooming with two boys instead of girls, but they quieted down a bit when you explained that it was a house and not an apartment, and everyone had their own room. Jaebum would never try anything shady and Jackson would only make a move if he knew you were 100% comfortable with it. Which you may or may not be, you hadn’t decided quite decided yet, but if he kept walking around shirtless you’ll have no trouble figuring it out.

Not to say that Jaebum wasn’t hot either, but he was more serious and felt like an older brother most times. Except for the times when he didn’t. Like the one time you had snuck into the kitchen in the morning wearing only an oversized shirt, thinking the boys were both still asleep. Turned out, Jaebum got up earlier than you thought and he got a surprise peak at what the color your panties were when you’d reached up for a coffee mug. You’d both been embarrassed and had apologized profusely to each other later that day (with Jackson pouting in the background), but you couldn’t help but notice how he looked at you differently after that, his eyes seeming to roam much more than they’d used to. Whatever, nothings different you’d thought.

It was a scary movie. Well, not really, not to you, but Jaebum didn’t watch them often and when you’d begged him to sit and watch one with you, he could hardly refuse. You took up most of the couch, laying down, with your head not quite on his lap, but near enough that you could see when his knee jumped at a jump-scare in the movie. You smiled to yourself and reached above you place your hand on his knee and pat it, trying to console him, but you noticed it only seemed to make him tense up more, so you pulled away. The both of you nearly fell of the couch in fright when the lights suddenly went out with a pop! And the both of you looked at each other with the same confused look. Your only neighbor lived a bit down the road from your house, but you could see from a distance that their lights were clearly still on. You looked at Jaebum.

“Our house is the only house whose lights went out, why is that?” You asked aloud. Jaebum only shrugged.

Just then, Jackson burst through the front door, panting and frantic looking, locking it firmly behind him. He turned to the both of you to say something, but stuttered at the sight. He looked from where you lay to where Jaebum sat with what could have been a side-eye, but you didn’t get the chance to ask.

“Sorry to interrupt whatever this is- but we have a problem!” He announced, still out of breath and still giving Jaebum a look. Jaebum edged away from you slightly, almost awkwardly, till he could stand up.

“What do you mean ‘problem’? We were just watching a movie, that’s it.” He said, sounding a tad strained, as if he were lying. Jackson pulled another face at him.

“What? No, not that.” Jackson paused, “Well, yes, but that later. This, now!” He said pointing towards the window. At this point you got up to see what all the fuss was about yourself, pushing past the both of them to look out of the curtains. You gasped and Jaebum nudged you gently to get a look for himself. There were about fifteen, maybe twenty people standing on your front yard in the dark. Not moving, not interacting with each other, just standing there, staring at the house like stone statues. Your brain took a couple seconds to process the situation, Jaebum already having moved you away from the window so you could no longer look.

“Was… was that Yugyeom outside? And Mark? What are they doing, playing some prank? I couldn’t really tell who the others were.” You asked, thoroughly confused. Jackson shook his head and the spooked look on his face told you he wasn’t lying.

“I don’t know. I don’t think so. I tried talking to Mark, but he wouldn’t answer me. He just kept staring at the house, with no expression at all. It was creepy. He lives all the way across town so it would be a long drive just for some prank. Needless to say, I think we should just stay inside the house.” Jackson said quietly and you took another peak outside. You spotted Yugyeom off to the side and decided it would be best to talk to him yourself, since you knew he never lies to you. You went to the door and started unlocking it, but before you could pull it open, Jackson grabbed you and nearly threw you over his shoulder.

“What part of ‘don’t go outside’ don’t you understand?” Jackson said, exasperated still not having let go of you. You pulled out of his grasp (you hated being grabbed, this wasn’t a K-drama) and brushed past him and swung the door open wide. You nearly jumped back a foot when you saw Yugyeom standing directly on the door mat, not where he was only seconds ago, eyes boring into you blankly. Jackson gave a light scream behind you and snapped you out of your fear coma.

‘Yu-Yugyeom? What are you doing here? It’s late. Are you ok?” You asked, genuinely concerned now that he was giving no reaction to you, and you reached for his arm. Before you could reach it, his other shot up and grabbed your wrist in a bone crushing grip, making you yelp in pain and surprise.

“Yugyeom!” Jaebum shouted as he leapt towards the younger boy, who effortlessly dodged the punch. Yugyeom blinked and suddenly his eyes were pitch black and petrifying. You felt paralyzed until he gave you demonic smile and something inside you made you reel back and punch him square in the nose, making him let go and sending him flying backwards off the porch. You nearly stumbled because of it but Jackson yanked you back inside and slammed the door shut, locking it with purpose.

All three of you were on the floor in front of the door at this point, panting and staring at each other in disbelief. You rubbed our aching wrist and saw that bruise marks were already starting to form. That wasn’t Yugyeom.

“Are you ok?” Jackson asked, his hand on you shoulder. You nodded, still looking down. You were scared shitless in fact, but you were as ok as you could be in a situation like this. There a bang on the front door and the three of you fell backwards. All around the house you could hear fists banging on the windows, doors, and maybe even the roof. A voice similar to Yugyeom’s, but clearly not Yugyeom’s called out to you from behind the door.

“Noooonaa? I just want to hold your hand. Please open the door, I promise I won’t hurt you, Noona.” The voice was sweet, but it sounded… wrong, and mad your insides twist with unease. You’d begun to physically shake at this point, but you weren’t going to let your fear overtake you.

“Fuck off!” You screamed through the door and grabbed Jaebum and Jackson by their collars, pulling them on their feet. You could hear the banging continue and the voice start to curse behind you as you nearly dragged them up the stairs to your room, where keep the gun your father gave you hidden.

You slammed your bedroom door shut just as you heard the front door splinter downstairs and come off its hinges. The two boys sat on the floor, seemingly in shock, as you pulled out a shotgun and a box of shells from under your bed, loading it effortlessly.

“You had a gun in the house?” Jaebum almost choked.

“Since when?” Jackson chimed in.

Since I moved in with two boys, now stay back!” You kept your voice stern and your hold on the gun steady as you pointed it towards the door, unnerved by the sudden silence. Then there came a light tapping on the door.

“(Y/n)? Quick, let me in! They’re coming!” It was Jinyoung’s voice this time, but there was something off about it too. You raged against the reflex to let your friend in, and cocked the gun.

“I don’t know what you are but you aren’t Jinyoung! Come inside if you want, I have a shotgun and shell with your name on it!

Just then, the grandfather clock downstairs struck twelve and the pleasant chime rang through the house.

Damn.” The horrifying voice, which seemed to give up imitating anyone, said from the other side of the door, “Looks like our times up. It’s been nice playing with you all.”

There was a hissing sound and the banging on the house ceased immediately. It took you three and full ten minutes to open the door afterwards, but when you did, there was nothing there. Jaebum went to find that the front door was indeed off its hinges and nearly torn to shreds. Jackson called up Mark and Jinyong and anyone he knew that was standing in the yard, but none of them knew what he was talking about. You spoke to Yugyeom yourself and almost cried at the sweet sound of his voice,

his

voice. The bruises on your wrist were still there a week later, so you knew it wasn’t just a messed up dream. Whatever happened that night, you three prayed it never happened again.
