Levels of LGB relationships written by straight people*

Monster tier: The LGB couple has a tragic story all the way through, usually but not always ending in one of their deaths.

Shit tier: The couple is hinted at, but is never explicitly stated to be a couple.

Annoying tier: The couple is said to be a couple at least once, but is given less than half the screentime of other couples of equal plot importance.

Neutral tier: The couple is in a very happy, explicitly stated relationship where everything is great, but is given less than half the screentime of other couples of equal plot importance.

Tolerable tier: The couple is in a very happy, explicitly stated relationship where everything is great and given equal or greater screentime as other couples of equal plot importance.

Good tier: The couple is in an explicitly stated relationship that has equal or greater screentime as other couples of equal plot importance and has the same challenges straight couples face in a realistic, multifaceted relationship.

God tier: The couple is in an explicitly stated relationship that has equal or greater screentime as other couples of equal plot importance and has the same challenges straight couples face in a realistic, multifaceted relationship and the challenges of being an LGB couple are openly and honestly addressed without detracting from the underlying message that LGB couples can and should be happy.

*(When the story itself is not about said couple)

can i ask what breeder you got mittens from? i've been looking everywhere for a high red BRB but most breeders i've found seem to be out of stock! and i'm hoping everything works out well and she gets to you safe and sound <3

hey! I don’t mind at all!  I got her from Dave at Rainbows-R-Us Reptiles. He’s been a DELIGHT to work with (especially with the mess with FedEx) AND hes got really quality, well cared for animals from what I can tell! I know he uses a wait-list method for selling his snakes, so I’m sure you could email him if you don’t see what you want in stock!

and… update on Mittens!! She arrived safe and sound (in her well packed box) late this morning, she’s already acclimating to her new home (first thing she did was burrow down into her substrate under her warm hide) so I should be able to post some photos next week after she’s settled in properly (all the photos I snapped today are of her tail as she slithered into her hide lol… so… not the most flattering)
