rainbow turkey

The legendary bird Pokemon of resurrection, Ho-oh has returned to the lands of Johto, spreading it’s warmth through the land, slowly changing the frosty landscapes into the lush, brightly coloured season of Spring. It uses it’s mystical sacred fire to bring back life to the fauna and flora that had perished in the cold winter months. The sacred phoenix only brings back those who had the misfortune to die before their true time of death. Ho-oh will not interfere if it truly is the right time for a being to pass on into the next world.

This is a small acrylic painting of one of my favorite Pokemon, Ho-oh. It would be nice if they did more with this Pokemon, to me, it’s one of the most underrated legendary Pokemon. It can bring back creatures from the dead- But of course Xerneas has that ability also.

I wanted to do a small picture for the Spring and what’s better then a brightly coloured rainbow turkey? C:

Media: Liquetex acrylics - ‘Topaz’ Swarvoski real crystal rhinestone.
Paper: Canvas for oils/acrylics
Size: 2.5” x 2.5”
Time: 4.5 hours

Artists ask! 6, 13 and 25!

6. What’s your least favorite thing to draw? Certain rainbow turkey

13. Do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people? I like to make other people happy when I can! Most of the time though I don’t’ know what to draw so it just breaks down into my Lugia or pony.

25. Do you like to draw in silence, or with music?  I NEED music. Always.

This is a post dedicated to one of my amazing friends, Suzette. This girl right here, really allows me to shine, and be one insane friend! The nickname French Fry Donutty Buddy, because I know your wondering, came from our loves for French Fries and Donuts. Suzette, has been through thick and thin with me, she gives the greatest advice about anything! She’ll even agree with me on if a rainbow turkey looks plump… That’s a long story for another time… She has seen the best and worst sides of me. She has been through an emotional roller-coaster with me, holding me steady. I remember the day we met. It was sixth grade year, during fourth period. The first thing she said to me is “You are weird.” To this day, it’s a phrase we tell each other with a laugh. Everyone has that one friend that has been through thick and thin with, Suzette is that friend for me. Girl, I KNOW you will see this, and for you, Thank-You for being an amazing friend to me through all these years!

We first met on: August 20, 2012. Also known as the first day of school, in the sixth grade, but you know, it’s our special day forever! Ever since, it’s been three amazing years that we have spent together. Love Ya French Fry Donutty Buddy!
