Project details: The aim was to rebrand the perception of a current issue, focusing on the perception of cannabis. I created branding for a cannabis coffee shop named mary jane’s aimed at females to change the perception of cannabis from a gateway drug to a guilt-free, fun treat. I created logos, menus, packaging, exterior/interior designs, website and an app for the coffee shop. I used hand drawn type, pastel colours and hand drawn patterns to give the brand a fun feel relating to the effects of cannabis, along with witty play-on words and phrases. I linked these design aspects with elegant typography and an ornamental logo design to create the sense of luxury and femininity.
