Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis (rey-chel enn low-pez dah-kis), an international Filipina women’s volleyball player with the age of 27, standing quite tall at 5′10″. She was the team captain of the Philippines’ volleyball team and is currently its Face of Philippine Volleyball. Rachel is set to play for the Philippines in the SEA games this June 2015. Chel is popular among fans for her amusing and energetic personality on court. Her float serve is popular for acing, nicknamed “The Remote Control Serve”, along with her unique vertical approach. She is also the ambassadress of the country for Mizuno Asia. Rachel has won multiple awards and championships and is the recent Most Valuable Player of the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference 2015 and part of the champion team of the same league, Petron Blaze Spikers.
