Yes, literally splitting hares (not hairs), because this is a rabbit fur coat. It’s a ‘cheap lady’s mink’, but still warm and incredibly soft. And I feel less guilty about the fact that this came from rabbits, since they’re definitely not endangered. Plus, you can eat rabbit meat, but I don’t think you can eat mink.
