  • The name “Cutie Moon Rod” is unique to the first anime. It was simply called the Moon Rod in the manga as well as in Sailor Moon Crystal.
  • In episode 63, Sailor Moon threw the Cutie Moon Rod like a baton or a boomerang.

Sailor Teleport

Description: The command the Sailor Senshi used to teleport themselves to their desired destination by standing in a circle with their hands joined.

  1. Generally, only the Inner Senshi used this power to teleport but all the Sailor Senshi (sans Sailor Moon) used Sailor Teleport in episode 170.
  2. An extra person could teleport with the Sailor Senshi if they stood in the circle formed by the Senshi as seen in episode 74 when Chibiusa teleported with them to escape Rubeus’ UFO.
  3. Usually the Sailor Senshi would instantly arrive to their desired destination, but sometimes they teleported part of the way and flew the rest. This happened in Sailor Moon R: The Movie and episode 170.
  4. It is unknown how far the Sailor Senshi could teleport as the farthest they have traveled was to the Moon.

  • The word “halation” is defined as the spreading of light beyond an image’s proper boundaries.
  • ADV used “Moon Princess Elimination” in their release of Sailor Moon R.
  • The Mixx translation of the manga sometimes called this “Moon Princess Halo.”
  • This maneuver was capable of destroying enemies far larger than Sailor Moon herself. Examples include the Makaiju or Esmeraude’s dragon form.
  • When hit by this attack, cardians usually said “Cleansing.” Droids, however, did not say anything prior to their destruction.
