Aging, winding hyperspace routes fell out of favour in a growing galaxy, leading to once-popular Jedha becoming an antiquated curiosity rather than a relevant destination. Those who now seek Jedha are looking to be lost, or to find a deeper purpose. Some insist that this ancient world of spirituality gave its name to the Jedi Order, though most scholars believe it to be the other way around. All agree that the history of the Jedi and Jedha are intertwined.
The fucked up truth is that not everything happens for a reason. We sometimes make the wrong decisions and we’re forced to live with them for the rest of our lives. And I know that I should live with mine.
But still, on the loneliest nights, I look up at the stars and I stop and smile. Because although we now walk different paths, although I know that years will pass and we still won’t be together; I’ll always remember that for a brief, fraction of a moment, against all the odds, our stars crossed. And that will always, always be enough.
I kiss him to get him to stop talking. If he keeps talking I will love him, and I don’t want to love him. I really don’t. As strategies go, it’s not my finest. Kissing is just another way of talking except without the words.
