quite possibly my favourite film still ever

Hey, I've just started and finished NMTD and LLL (literally I've binge watched them through twice since I found them like 4 days ago) and I'm about to start Zoos Job. But I was wondering if you had any recommendations for other web series, as these were my first, and I LOVED them.

Ooh yay! Web series recommendations! There are so so many out there but these are my faves:

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries was the first one I watched and still one of my absolute favourites. It’s a modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

Emma Approved is the next modern adaptation by Pemberley Digital after The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and it’s based on another Jane Austen book, Emma.

Carmilla is yet another modern adaptation (there’s really a common theme here) of Sheridan Le Fanu’s vampiric novella, Carmilla.

The Guild is slightly different because it’s not an adaptation but an original comedy by Felicia Day. It’s about a group of online gamers and could quite possibly be my favourite web series I’ve ever watched.

Squaresville is also an original comedy and is about two best friends growing up. It’s only got two series and as far as I’ve heard there isn’t another one coming which is sad but definitely still worth the watch.

Kissing in the Rain is a really lovely short series by Yulin Kuang. It revisits the different kisses in the rain between pairs of actors and follows their stories. She makes a lot of short films as well and her work is definitely worth checking out. I especially love I Ship It, starring two actors from Kissing in the Rain.

There are definitely more that I just can’t think of at the moment but this should be enough to keep you going for the moment! Thanks so much for asking, I love talking about web series!

P.S. I’m currently watching another modern adaptation, this time of Anne of Green Gables and it’s called Green Gables Fables. So far I love it so you should check that out too if you have the time!
