quit standing on

anonymous asked:

i was wondering what is the best place to sell art stuffs where you are in control of shipping the products? like, when you were selling the ford charms you were able to send the customers a small drawing with what they bought and such. sorry if this is a confusing question? i dont know how to word it into a coherent body of text yeet

short answer: i’ve had personal experience using etsy, storenvy, & tictail. etsy looks a little drab but is imo far superior to the other two; there’s no fuss over paying extra fees, and shipping labels are practically taken care of for you. plus, you get to see thorough sales stats, and i like how their customer conversation system works. the only suggestion i’d have is to make your product listing photos look really good because it takes quite a bit to stand out when the website looks so plain, but if you’re selling art, that should be easy.

Honestly the Alana hate needs to stop. Leave the girl alone. You’re all awful.

She’s a girl, who in the time of tragedy, see’s that she, and others, are in need of something to grasp on to. One of the main ideas behind the show is people’s want/need to feel included when tragedy strikes.

She was alone. She tried so hard to make friends. She wasn’t rude, but she could be over bearing and that make people not welcome her presence. She looked at Connor and his situation and probably realized that it could have been her. She wears a mask, and it’s a genuinely wonderful mask. She knows that people are judgmental and she attempted to hide her weakness but over does it and it has the opposite effect. She felt alone, but she spoke up, and told people that she would be there for them, even if they weren’t there for her.

Also keep in mind she lost her grandmother not long before the start of the show.

She makes some mistakes, she does something that is honestly so horrible. That letter was private and she should not have shared it, but you CAN NOT criminalize her and stand to the side while Evan does what he does or Jared for that matter. I’m so tired of the women and POC getting criminalized while the white boys become your “cinnamon rolls” or your “sons”.

And trust me. I love Evan, Jared, and Connor just as much as the next person. I call The Sincerely Three my sons on the daily, but I’m also not out there acting like they are innocent while I throw Alana under a steamroller.

BOI let’s talk about Neil “rabbit” Josten and Andrew “never lets his guard down” Minyard and how they inexplicably forget the rest of the world is a thing when they’re together???? Like

  • everyone knows better than to interrupt their intense eye contact. They’ll stare at each other for minutes at a time and matt’s just standing there off to the side, waiting for their bizarre silent convo to wind down. Neil’s the first to look away.
    • “Oh, how long have you been there, matt?“
    • "Just a few seconds don’t worry"
  • even when they’re not staring at each other, they’re both completely useless if one is looking. Neil focuses his entire attention on Andrew when the sun hits him just right and Kevin sighs and closes the notebook of exy plays they’d been discussing. Andrew is not-watching Neil staring at him, Neil is probably mentally composing a sonnet about Andrew’s shoulders or arms or pinky finger, and Kevin starts talking about Quebec, potato salad, and cello music because anything he says Neil will never be able to remember
  • they’re not much for PDA but also when the locker room is empty after a game, they might (always) make out against the lockers and sometimes they don’t remember that one freshman who was getting dressed in the showers and he squeaks in surprise when he walks in on them but they’re too wrapped up in each other to notice (or care)
  • dan is sure she could blow an air horn next to their ears, but if they’re sharing a cigarette, they wouldn’t even flinch. Nearly every day after practice while they wait for Kevin to finish up, Neil and Andrew share a cigarette in the shade provided by the court’s walls. They stand not quite close enough to touch but the space between them is almost nonexistent, and take turns smoking while gazing meaningfully at each other. Or Andrew will smoke and Neil will steal his cigarette and he’ll steal it back and on and on until the thing is burned down to the filter.
    • Nicky swears he caught them shotgunning smoke but his phone was "dead” at the time and without visual evidence he couldn’t cash in the prize money.
    •  He’s still bitter about it.
  • one time they halted an entire game for a full minute because some asswipe had growled “Wesninski” at Neil and Neil got tripped up and twisted his ankle.
    • the combination of panic from hearing his old name and panic about not being able to play kept him on the court floor and Andrew was at his side in an instant. He ignored the rest of the players, the refs, and Coach in favor of kneeling on the ground and pressing his forehead to Neil’s. They whispered to each other for a full half a minute before the panic left Neil’s eyes and Andrew was content to sit back.
    • Neil at least had the decency to look sheepish when he saw the dozen people crowded around them, staring at him with varying amounts of confusion and annoyance.
    • Andrew did not.

 part 2

Your mother told you that there was a purpose for what everyone does. That there is always a reason for someone’s actions; whether it was bad or good. If it was a good action, the individual has learned the most rewarding path to handle situations; regardless if it was easy or not. If it was a bad action, the person could reflect on it, and with guidance, they will learn the right way toward dealing with obstacles. And to this day, that is how you viewed life. If you handled something well, you would be rewarded in the future, if you handled it poorly, you would need to reflect on why you did such a thing, till you find the right path. With these beliefs, you always wanted to find the ‘purpose’ of an individual’s actions, and help them find the right way. So that’s how you ended up working at a rehab centre; helping mentally to find the root cause of someone’s poor actions, and leading them to a better future.

Warning: Fingering. Phone sex. ft Kim Namjoon.

It’s hilarious, laughable, pathetic even, how love could either build you or ruin you and yet knowing this, people still chase after it like the rise of golden light beyond the horizon, or the last drop of dew in twilight, or the flutter of that one coral blue butterflies in buttercup paved meadow.

It’s frightening, daunting, startling even, how love makes your hands clammy like you’re being interviewed by the very man who founded the big shot company you’ve applied to.

And it’s utterly, impossibly, unbelievable how love comes in many ways like a bump and a spill of coffee on crisp white shirt, or a brush of hands upon a dusty leather brown book spine or an envelope obtained from a mailbox on one’s way back from grocery shopping.

Well, that’s exactly what’s happening to Min Yoongi, second son to one of the well-known elite families in Seoul. Most of the time, he couldn’t care less about family matters; business deals, dinner with alien faces and empty conversations─ those things he’s entitled to attend with mildly bored eyes and champagne he’ll never finish in one hand. But this particular matter, he can’t just not care. One, because it directly concerns him (as if the cursive letter of his name engraved in bold black against crisp white isn’t enough indication). Two, because it’s from a certain someone in his family who he’s fond of.

Dear Yoongi,

Is written on the top of the not so neat written paper.

Son,

I know you might hate me for this.

mercury aspects + the sound of voices

The conjunction is the only aspect possible between Sun and Mercury, so if someone has this aspect, it is likely that their voice is full of confidence, there can be a rich quality to their voice, they may speak with plenty of precision and are not ones to stumble or stammer; they come across as though they know a lot of information.

Mercury-Moon aspects could indicate that the person has a really soothing voice, full of calmness and serenity, speaking softly and femininely. They may have a type of voice that you feel like you can trust and confide in, because they are so gentle through the way they communicate.

Mercury-Venus aspects could indicate that the person has a beautiful voice, a voice that is highly appealing and sweet. They may also be talented at singing because of their lovely voice. They sound very melodic and charming.

Mercury-Mars aspects could indicate that the person has a striking voice, their tone of voice may be brash and probably sounds harsh. They might often sound angry even if they are not actually angry. These natives are also known to speak with tons of passion and intensity, and aggression.

Mercury-Jupiter aspects could indicate that the person has a pretty loud voice, and they make sure that their words are being heard, so therefore their tone of voice is prominent. People with these aspects are prone to laughing a lot, and often have long, loud laughs, which gives them an endearing quality.

Mercury-Saturn aspects could indicate that the person has a quiet, reserved, and respectful tone of voice. When they speak, they seem composed and could have a wise way of speaking. Their voice is often monotone and they usually talk dryly, at a relatively slow pace.

Mercury-Uranus aspects could indicate that the person has a unique voice; maybe their voice is quite different, or stands out among the rest. Think of Morgan Freeman: one of the main things he is recognized for is his renowned voice (he has Mercury conjunct Uranus). These natives attract interest through the way they speak because the voice is typically dissimilar from most.

Mercury-Neptune aspects could indicate that the person has a dreamy, poetic, sleepy tone of voice. They sound laid back and nonchalant, but also with an enchanting quality to the way they speak. Their voice is chilled out and mellow, and they may sound a little shy.

Mercury-Pluto aspects could indicate that the person has a powerful, dominant, and heavy/deep tone of voice. Lauren Bacall had Mercury sextile Pluto and was admired for her deep voice, which sometimes intimidated and intrigued others at the same time.

Let’s talk about the amazing women in Louis’ life, then.

I want to give a shout out on this International Women’s Day to the amazing, beautiful and caring women in Louis Tomlinson’s life.

1. His late mother, Johannah Deakin. amazing mother of seven, wife and dedicated nurse. She, alongside to Louis, created and encouraged various charities and activities to advocate these. She ran Louis’ first ever label along with him and constantly interacted with fans and encouraged and celebrated an projects like Project No Control.

2. The oldest of his younger siblings, Charlotte “Lottie” Tomlinson, an accomplished stylist hired by Selena Gomez and Louisa Johnson, She’s also the very proud creator and owner of her own, very successful, cosmetic collection in which she collaborated with Matchbox. She’s also the person who very actively raised the younger twins along with Dan and her boyfriend Tommy.

3. The second oldest of his younger siblings, Felicite “Fizzy” Tomlinson, a beautiful young woman with incredible intelligence and education. She’s a very active person on social media for the best reasons possible. She’s an incredibly intelligent young woman with interest in human rights and feminism and is very vocal about the issues the world faces. A lovely human all around.

Regardless of their young age, these girls have both managed to gain and sustain quite the social media standing and have even managed to create their own cosmetics collection just like their eldest sister, Lottie. So, yes, let’s talk about the absolutely amazing women in Louis’ life that contributed to his growth as a person, let’s talk about the women that have been there every step of the way without being rude or offensive in any way. Lte’s talk about the women in his life that have not been racist, ableist, homophobic, fatphobic, islamophobic or just generally rude. If you want to talk about the amazing women in his life then I’m all for it but make sure you talk about the ones who have time and time again shown they deserve that title.

Persistence

content: Dean feels uncomfortable with the flirting attempts by the cashier at the grocery store, but thankfully Castiel comes to his rescue – though seriously not the way Dean expected.

word count: 2,174

Dean really doesn’t like visiting the small grocery store in Lebanon right at the town’s center.

And thankfully most of the time he’s got other options – mainly the big supermarket next to the highway –, but once in a while he’s got no other choice due to time issues or saving gas or whatever else might come up.

And it’s not like the store itself is crappy or something. No, not at all. It may be small, but it’s got everything they need, even Dean’s favorite brand of beer. Hell, they even sell those awesome chocolate brownies you can’t find nearly anywhere anymore!

So yeah, it’s a nice enough store.

But there’s a big problem – the cashier who seems to live in that stupid shop!

At least Dean’s got that impression since she’s always there when he walks through the door, smiling at him so broadly as soon as she spots him as if the only purpose of her life is waiting for Dean to arrive at the store.

Her name is Stacy and she looks like seventeen although she reassured him many times before (by emphasizing Every. Single. Word.) that she’s old enough to drink – while at the same time giggling like she just shared a juicy secret and fluttering her eyelashes in a way she probably thinks seductive. Her flirting attempts are countless, clumsy, awkward and leave Dean highly uncomfortable.

But she never stops.

Dean can’t help admiring her persistence a bit. Not even hints that he could easily be her father age wise made her back off. Dean tried being nice and polite about it and used grumbles and grunts a few weeks later when his maturity hadn’t been very effective, but nothing seems to impress that girl. Every time Dean starts to talk and attempts to make himself clear she simply sighs deeply and gazes into his eyes or checks out his ass, not at all interested in what he has to say.

It’s infuriating.

Even the apocalypse hadn’t been that annoying.

one of the most compelling facets of Anakin’s character, and one of my favorite aspect’s of Hayden’s acting is the way he portrays Anakin’s emotions. Anakin is a boy who feels everything so strongly, and is not afraid of it. But then, he joins the Jedi order, where he is taught to repress and repress. The older Anakin becomes, the more tiny cracks begin appearing. His mother’s death shatters the biggest crack in Anakin’s being, and there he is, not quite a boy, not quite a man. He stands before his mother’s grave and every instinct tells him to cry and collapse and rage, but his training is holding him back. Anakin stands before his mother’s grave fighting an internal war waged between the Jedi and the slave. This happens again and again, first with his mother, then with Padme, and finally with Obi Wan, until the cracks wear away, and Anakin burns, burns, burns.

Youtuber Whispers |Jack Maynard|

Summary -  Can you do an imagine where Jack proposes to the reader whilst doing a youtuber whispers with the rest of the guys?

Word Count - 1,787

Warnings - N/A

“Right, so you guys know the plan?” Jack asked, letting out a deep sigh.

Joe rolled his eyes and nodded. “Yes, you’ve told us a million times what we’re doing Jack, will you just calm down?”

Jack glared at Joe and shook his head. “When you get a girlfriend, and you’re planning to do this, if I tell you to calm down do you actually think it’s going to work?”

Joe stayed quiet for a few seconds before nodding. “Okay, point taken.”

Jack chuckled quietly to himself and sat down on the sofa next to Joe and Oli.

“Are you nervous?” Caspar asked, looking up from his phone.

“Shitting myself to be honest.” Jack chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. The nerves were showing to be honest and Jack knew that his friends knew him well enough to know that there was no point of him trying to hide how nervous he was.

“What if she says no?” Mikey asked, looking over at Jack as Josh nudged him hard in the ribs.

“What was that for?” Mikey whined, rubbing his side.

“Y/N isn’t going to say no Jack, just ignore Mikey. What does he know about relationships anyway?” Caspar chuckled, smiling encouragingly at Jack whose mind was now wondering about Mikey’s question.

What if the answer was no? How would Jack even react? What would he say, and how embarrassing would that be infront of all of his friends, and his brother?

Jack tried his very hardest to push that thought to the back of his mind but it stayed where it was, stuck in the front of his mind as if it was a grey cloud on a sunny day.

“Anyway,” Joe started, knowing that what Mikey had said was starting to bug Jack. “Should we start getting the camera and lights set up before Y/N gets here?”

Jack simply nodded and said nothing, standing up as Josh started to move the table in the middle of the room, to the side of the room against the wall so they would have more room.

Jack and Conor didn’t exactly have a box room as a living room, but they obviously needed a bit more space when there were 8 people filming in one room.

Jack moved a few things around, mainly picking up Conor’s clothes that he had left around the room while Joe was kind enough to set his camera up.

“When is Y/N getting here then?” Caspar asked Jack, snapping him out of his daydream.

“Conor has just gone to pick her up from the station.” Jack smiled half heartedly.

Mikey’s comment was still pestering Jack, and it wasn’t the fact that Mikey had said it. It was just about if he was right, what if the answer was no?

Shaking his head, once again Jack tried to shove the thought out of his mind and focus on the question in mind.

“Right, I’ve set everything up. Just gotta move one more thing out of the room.” Joe informed everyone, looking straight at Jack.

“What’s that?” Jack asked, slightly confused as he glanced around the living room.

He had moved all of Conor’s clothes and all of the open, but unfinished, water bottles were hidden out of sight.

“Him.” Joe chuckled, nodding over to Mikey.

Looking at Mikey for the first time since his question, Jack noticed he had a guilty expression on his face.

“Hey come on mate.” Jack chuckled, knowing that he shouldn’t have taken Mikey’s comment to heart. “Don’t worry about it.”

Mikey smiled uncertainly but nodded as the door opened, and in walked you and Conor.

“Hey.” Jack grinned, virtually skipping over to you and picking you up in his arms.

Conor rolled his eyes as he placed your bag down on the floor but chuckled quietly to himself as he noticed the tiny square box in the back pocket of Jack’s jeans.

“Hey you.” You smiled, kissing Jack gently as his arms wrapped around your waist.

“Come on guys.” Joe chuckled, shaking his head as he looked over at you both.

“He’s just jealous because he’s still single.” Jack whispered in your ear, moving his hand from your waist and taking your hand in his.

“I heard that.” Joe rolled his eyes as he sat on the sofa next to Caspar.

Taking your place next to Jack, you smiled as Conor, Josh, Mikey and Oli sat infront of you all on the floor.

Who would actually buy a sofa big enough for 8 people though?

One Jack had checked that the camera was actually recording and the audio was working, he explained the rules to everyone. However, this took quite a few attempts as Caspar kept interrupting him and it confused Mikey a little bit.

Everyone left the room except two people, those two being Jack and Conor.

Conor put on a pair of headphones that were currently blasting a Calvin Harris song and Jack chuckled to himself.

Earlier in the week, he had gone onto twitter and told his followers that he was doing a youtuber whispers game and to send weird ones in.

“Rumour has it, that Jack Maynard is the most talented out of the two brothers!” Jack shouted, feeling a bit stupid as he felt as if he was speaking to himself.

Calling Oli back into the room, Conor shouted to him once Oli had put on a pair of headphones as well.

“Rumour has it, neither of the Maynard brothers have any talent!” Conor shouted to his friend as Oli glanced at the camera with a blank expression on his face.

Conor sat next to Oli and they all repeated it back to each other, until Jack asked Joe to repeat what he had heard as Joe was the last one to receive the message.

“I heard that Jack Maynard is jealous because his brother is more talented.” Joe chuckled, shrugging his shoulders.

“Yeah that sounds about right to be fair.” Conor laughed, teasing his brother.

Jack chuckled to himself and passed you a set of headphones. “Put these on a second babe.”

You quickly put them on and started nodding your head along to the song that Jack had chosen even though you had no idea what it was.

“Right, the next one is gonna be the one when I ask her so everyone just has to say ‘Y/N, Jack wants to know if you’ll marry him.’ Okay?” Jack told everyone, glancing over at you as you sat there completely oblivious to what he was telling everyone.

The other boys nodded and put a pair of headphones on for show, but they didn’t see the point of playing any music through them.

Jack would edit the bit out of the video where he told the boys what to say later on. A proposal half way through a video would be a shock for his subscribers as well.

Each of them pretended to pass the message along until you were last in the queue and everyone but Joe and you had taken your headphones off.

Jack sat at the other end of the sofa, his heart rate increasing with every passing second as he gripped his laptop in his hands as they started to clam up.

“Y/N, Jack wants to know if you’ll marry him?!” Joe shouted, practically deafening himself with how loud he needed his voce to be so that you could hopefully hear him though the music blaring through the headphones.

Jack put his thumb up to signal that it was fine for you to take the headphones off.

Sliding the headphones off, you put them on the sofa and looked at Joe confused.

“You’re absolute shit at this game.” You chuckled; shaking your head as Joe playfully shoved your arm.

“What was the message you heard babe?” Jack asked with a smile on his face as he tried to hide his nerves.

Jack felt his face heating up as the anxiety was eating away at his insides, that tiny little box was now digging into his backside.

“I heard 'Jack wants to know if I’ll play a game with him’. I don’t think that’s right though.” You chuckled to yourself, not even taking any notice of the heat that had risen to Jack’s face.

“Let me do it again.” Joe laughed; passing the headphones back to you and Joe very quickly turned the volume down on your phone slightly so you could hear him a little better.

All of the boys had their eyes fixed on you as Jack put his laptop on the floor infront of him as the table was still over the other side of the room.

“Y/N, Jack wants to know if you’ll marry him!” Joe shouted, just as loudly as before as a ringing started in his ears.

You looked over at Jack who now had the box hidden in his fist so you still couldn’t see it.

You took the headphones off once again and kept your eyes on Jack, your heart rate picking up instantly as your throat went dry.

“I heard 'Y/N, Jack wants to know if you’ll marry him’.”

All eyes now converted from you to Jack as the entire room fell silent. Even Caspar was silent for a change.

“Well?” Jack asked, his knees shaking as he stood up and walked over to you.

You stared up at him, not quite bringing yourself to stand up incase you ended up on Oli who was still sat on the floor.

“Are you serious or is this Joe playing one of his pranks on me again?” You asked, your voice quiet and your eyes wide.

“I am deadly serious.” Jack chuckled, his voice shaking with nerves as he got down on one knee infront of you, opening his fist to show the tiny black box that he flipped open.

The silence was killing Jack, as well as the others until you finally opened your mouth and said that one little word that made Jack’s heart swell with happiness.

“Yes.”

Jack grinned as he slid the ring onto your finger on your left hand and quickly stood up, picking you up from the sofa and lifting you off the floor as the boys stood up and cheered loudly.

Crashing his lips against yours, the grin still spread across Jack’s face as tears brimmed your eyes.

“That’s a new way to propose I guess.” You giggled as you loose wrapped your legs around Jack’s waist.

“Well you know me, I like to be different.” Jack smirked proudly to himself as he leant his forehead against yours, staring into your eyes.

This was very true, and you wouldn’t have your fiancé any other way.
