I came across Seefeel after listening to their latest, selftitled album, and was pretty disappointed on a whole. I feel like most people on this matter, in that they tried to give it the “Autechre Treatment”, but it failed. “Dead Guitars” was pretty good though, that may deserve an upload/reblog, but mostly I felt it was pretty pants.
Anywho, I wanted to go back to their roots and see where they came from, and was pleasantly surprised. Quique, their debut album, is a creation within the “shoegazing” genre (whatever that means), and it’s pretty moody and atmospheric; I’m at a loss trying to compare them against someone really. They’re a little outside my usual listening circle. Take a listen and tell me what ya’ll think :)

El quique es un animal dificil de ver, sin embargo es común encontrar sus huellas en playas y dunas de la zona central. Son super fieros, se ahi viene la expresión “enojado como un quique.”
