Meet Tiva the Armacoatl.

Armacoatl is a sort of a combo of a reptile-armadillo with some influence from a stylized Queztalcoatl stone head.

Tiva loves to sing and groove. She would sing and hum all day long if you would let her. And if you would turn a nice tune on, she would dance all around like crazy! Tiva is a happy little monster that thinks dancing and grooving is the best cure for almost anything! Trust me, you can’t feel blue when she is around!

This doll is a collaboration between me and Melita Curphy aka missmonster (no, she doesn’t sell the casts of her dolls). Missmonster cast the face, eyes and paws. I cast the ears, painted and put it all together.

30cm (12 inches) tall. Details are cast in resin and the body is soft (no joints or skeleton armature inside). Her pendant is made ceramic receptacle charm, dyed howlite and glass beads. Eyes are glowing in the dark.

Attention! This is a piece of art. Not a toy for small children. Completely handmade, one of a kind. SOLD.

Fair skin, slender and blue-eyed, Itzel made a shock-entry on the fashion-scene two years ago. Based in Mexico, her crescent succes is somehow ternished by rumor of cultural appropriation since her collections all revolve around Aztec’s inspirations.

Since she takes her whiteness from her father (she can’t quite claim her blood relashionship with) she is kinda stuck in this weird situation where she is blamed to claim her own heritage.

( pronounced as “ket-sa”)
Also known as Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcan

The Orsian God of Wind

Known as the “Feathered Winged Serpent” and “Wind God” in the Mesoamerican (Aztec/Mayan ect) culture.

In her God Form, she can stand nearly 9 feet in height a just like most predatory serpents her entire body is just as lethal and powerful as her poisonous bite.

Unpredictable, provocative, twisted and quick to aggression, she’s a god that everyone must appease or pay the consequences.  She is egotistical and relishes in the thought that mortals both worship her and fear her.
And when she admires someone, everyone is curious to whether she truly admires or likes them…or wants to eat them. ( Could be both?)

With her vessel, Eagle, they both have a mutual love for games. While Quetza’s ‘play’ is more sadistic, cruel and could quite possibly be fatal, Eagle’s play is more fun, full of pranks and tomfoolery. ( And horrid puns…)

Out of all the Orsian gods, Quetza gets along with Poena- Dragon of Power (Poe) the best….probably because Poena has sadistic streak herself and desire to ‘punish’ anyone. ( they probably plot together…)

Artist’s notes:
Quetza’s character was based off a character in my 3rd Year Animated film called “Jinxed” The film was never finished but the character of my seductive but twisted “Sphinx” was tucked away ready to be revamped for another project- and thus Quetza was created.
