Doppelgangers Tales

Doppelgangers (German for “double-walker”) are paranormal duplicates of a real person

Emilie Sagee never saw her doppelganger. Everyone else did, though.

Sagee worked at the Baron von Güldenstubbe a girls school in Paris in 1845. She was a extraordinary good teacher well liked by student and teachers alike. So it made it extremely odd that in the last 16 years she had moved 19 times. But the school would discover soon enough why.

Unknown be known to Emilie but seens by everyone else she had her doppelganger hanging around her. Her ghostly sister was first spotted in a class by 13 of her students, standing right by Emilie mirroring her movements. However, she did become  groggy and weak during the times the doppelganger manifested, and the dopelganger was often seen doing things Sagee later said she had been thinking about at the moment, suggesting that she may have had some subliminal control over it. Soon, the doppelganger ventured beyond Sagee’s immediate vicinity. At first, it appeared to a classroom full of students, sitting calmly in the teacher’s chair while Sagee herself was outside, working in the garden. The few people who dared to approach the doppelganger found they could pass through it, yet it had a texture that reminded them of thick fabric.Time went by and the apparition became a permanent fixture of the school’s life, freaking people out on a regular basis. The girls’ concerned parents started removing their children from the school. Although Sagee was a model employee on all non-paranormal accounts, the headmistress had no option but to fire her and her ghostly double.

Used my unused abundance of traditional media tools to draw Lucidia skellies!! If I’m not too busy tomorrow, I’m gonna do Salt and Da Queen.

Sage was done with Copic markers. The guitar could’ve been better.

Pepper was done with crayons. She’s all dressed up and ready to brawl!

Cardamom Thyme was done with pencils (I’m sorry for betraying you, CQ). I think I made her look a lot more elegant that she actually is.

Chili P. was done with watercolor pencils. Unfortunately, I accidentally drew him on the wrong type of paper, so it didn’t turn out quite as nice as I’d envisioned.

Da Queen was made of Sculpey (an oven-bake clay that u recommend) and painted with some crappy acrylic paint. I think I did decently for someone that’s only made three complete sculptures in their lifetime. Her eyes follow you!

Salt was made with Chameleon markers. They’re extremely hard to work with, so she didn’t turn out very good.

All characters belong to @loverofpiggies.

Bonus: Chili P. before I added water

remember the moment in the golden lily where sydney was so sad to see adrian sad that she instantly remembered the fact that adrian loved slushes and she (a girl with body image issues who probably hadn’t had sugar since she was a young kid) drank a whole slush filled up with sugar just to make him happy and she also made sure that he knew it was “sugar free” (even though it totally wasn’t) so he would know she didn’t do it out of pity which she obvs didn’t bc she totally liked him even then

This spell began as a dream pillow, but ended up getting transferred to a jar so it could receive more love and attention. It has eleven ingredients, but I find it very fitting to represent my personal magickal path which encompasses mind magicks, draconic magick, and light working/shadow working.

It is the intention of this spell jar to increase my magical energy field & frequency, bring harmony to the resonances within me, and to amplify my active & latent magical talents.

The contents contain:

Mugwort; to encourage vivid & lucid visions/astral travel
Wormwood; to enhance psychic abilities/divination
Marijuana; to heal the third eye & generate insight
Star Anise; to symbolize the mage’s body & the 5 elements of magick (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit)
Lavender; for a sense of inner peace, resilience, & hope
Mandrake Root; to amplify magickal potency & creativity

Dragon’s Blood Resin; for a draconic invocation, power, & banishing
Resin of Myrrh; to bring purification & protection

Raw Amethyst Points; for inspiration, imagination, & psychic experiences
Lapis Lazuli Chips; for wisdom, truth, & insight

Prismatic Glitter; to represent the light spectrum & the different influences of magick

This herbal dust mix was blended together in varying portions as my psyche saw fit at the time of its creation.  It was placed in a glass skull jar to represent the inner workings of the human mind and thought; it is a visual embodiment of the Hermetic Principle of Mentalism. The jar was cleansed with sage & Night Queen incense, and sealed with a “Creativity” reiki energy candle and additional prismatic glitter. The jar can be cleansed by sunlight, moonlight, or smoke and is activated by meditating with it.

Woah I just accidentally clicked on an antis blog for the first time like ever... the stuff they say is 😳 like I never really realised quite what they were like

we’re gonna start the step-by-step cleansing process, stick with me:

  1. wave some sage around
  2. put on queen
  3. wave some sage around, but more aggressively
  4. put on queen, but louder
