It has been officially 21 years since this world lost such a beautiful, talented, funny, down to Earth woman. May you continue to rest in peace you sweet angel, we continue to miss you but we also continue to love you, cherish you, and hear that amazing voice of yours through your awesome music. We will never forget you, you were such a huge part of my childhood and you’re still a huge part of my life today, you will always be one of my biggest inspirations and I seriously wish you were still alive so that I would have a chance to meet you and tell you exactly how much you mean to me. But you’re in a much better place and It makes me happy that you are enjoying your life in paradise. I love you Selena forever and always my beloved queen of tex mex.💋
Ok all the coming for Valentina is totally unwarranted. But fine I can accept that but Aja interrupting her moment when she won Miss. Congeniality …
that was totally uncalled for and uncool of her. And Farrah Moan –that wasn’t the time to be like, “why don’t you wanna be my friend anymore?” I mean talk about speaking out at the wrong time. Not the time for that she shoulda done that at the beginning of the reunion when everyone was coming for Val. Then they wonder why fans come for them –i don’t condone the behavior some of the fans exhibit– but that’s why cause they go doing stupid shit like that and ruining their moments.
Also she didn’t say she was Selena –who is the queen of Tex-Mex Music which was a very underrepresented genre in the 90s until she made it big. She did say that like Selena she represented something that wasn’t represented in mainstream media which she did. I’m just still here for Valentina and everything she serves. But I’m Team SheaCoulee or Team Sasha Velour for the win! :D :D
“I did actually meet Selena in the Galleria Mall in Huston, but I didn’t say much to Selena because I wasn’t a celebrity, I just saw her and said “Hello” and kept it moving. Definitely growing up in Texas I heard her on the radio and I think listening to her Album even though I didn’t know exactly what she was saying it helped me in the studio with my pronunciation” - Beyonce.
Let’s just take a moment and picture the Queen of Tex-Mex still alive. She would have been at the top of the Fashion industry and would have been winning many awards for her great success. April 16, 1971-March 31, 1995. R.I.P
Super excited about this news, it seems that this years Selena definitely took domain and Hollywood took notice. The legion that is her fans have been heard and we cannot be more than thrilled to see our Queen being immortalized with her own wax figure.
