"but look, this is on sale!" w/ jeongcheol bc this is such a them thing to do 😂
Seungcheol sighs for like the hundredth time since he let Jeonghan drag him into this ‘super store’.
So far, everywhere they’ve stopped in America has a massive warehouse looking store that offers everything from toothpaste and hairspray to tire changes for your car and paint for your house. Jeonghan has insisted on going into every single one them. Seungcheol, hates his weak heart when it comes to Jeonghan because when he groans and says he doesn’t want to Jeonghan only grabs his arm and throws some pitiful puppy dog eyes and then next thing Seungcheol knows he’s being dragged through the aisles by Jeonghan’s fingers linked through his. The help-me-please looks he throws back at the others are only met with thinly hidden laughter and knowing smirks that Seungcheol refuses to read into. It doesn’t help that the younger members also scatter down the store aisles and every time he hears a commotion he’s sure this will be the first and last time they’re allowed in the store.
“…but look, this is on sale!” Jeonghan enthuses, just in time for Seungcheol to tune back in and see that he’s holding a pink and purple unicorn plushie that’s almost as tall as him and fills both his arms so he’s clutching it in front of him and Seungcheol can only see his feet tipping excitedly up on his toes and his arms wrapped around the middle of the toy. Jeonghan smiles brightly and Seungcheol’s heart does a few out of rhythm beats while he reaches up to smooth a stray hair back into place on the top of Jeonghan’s head.
“You absolutely have no reason to buy that thing.” Seungcheol laughs.
“But it’s only 8 dollars!” Jeonghan replies shoving the giant animal at Seungcheol like that would somehow make it more reasonable. Seungcheol sighs again.
“You don’t even have anywhere to put it and how would you get that on the plane when we go back home?”
Seungcheol smiles even though he tries to bite it back.
“Fine,” Jeonghan says turning his nose up at Seungcheol and returning it to the bin of other oversized animals. He comes back and takes Seungcheol’s hand. “You’re right, let’s go see what else is here.”
Seungcheol let’s himself be dragged away again while he pulls his phone out of his pocket and searches for giant stuffed unicorns he can buy to be delivered to the dorm.
Of course, secretly.
