I am realllly loving this trend in Korean dramas where the men are just goddam principled, nice, respectful and supportive romantic leads. I was so over that shitty tsundere assholes trend. They usually had zero redeeming qualities and just rained on the heroine’s parade. How typical dramas used to start (some still do) the guy is a cold, overconfident mother fucker and the girl is a sweet, poor girl who introduces him to love and makes him a nicer person. Like fuck that shit. That’s not a woman’s job in a romantic relationship.
So I am very happy to see a departure from that with leads like Jung Joon-hyung (Weightlifting Fairy) and Yoo Ji Shin (Descendant of Sun).
Don’t be an asshole. Be supportive, caring and get yourself a partner who isn’t afraid to challenge you and grow with you.

*ACOWAR SPOILERS*

Anyway Moriel shippers whining about Mor being gay can suck my dick lol.

Is it probably tokenism? Yes. Is it probably going to be lazy, last minute representation? Yes. Do any of you homophobes using these things for your complaints actually fucking give a shit about whether or not it’s tokenism? No! You’re just homophobic, so stop pretending like you actually care about the quality of gay representation!

I can’t believe some of you actually have the audacity to to say shit like “this is coming out of nowhere” and “Mor just doesn’t SEEM like she’s gay” and “but poor Azriel!” and “but I wanted Moriel to happen!” and “I’m not saying I don’t want representation, I just don’t think it should be Mor.”

First of all, if you’re straight (and most of the people complaining here are) how DARE you say anything about Mor “seeming gay” or not. How DARE you. What the actual fuck could you possibly know about it. Nothing. You could know nothing.

Second of all, of COURSE you don’t think it should be Mor. You CARE about Mor. Mor is beautiful, bubbly, funny, smart, outgoing. Her storyline is important to the main plot. She’s survived tragedy and emerged triumphant. You relate to her. And most of all, you want her to get together with a male character. And for her to be GAY? Oh no! Now this is ruined for you. Now she’s not perfect anymore. God forbid gay people have a gay character with positive traits they can look up to and relate to in a series. God forbid ONE character out of a TON of straights had to be made gay and now you can’t relate anymore.

I’ve seen multiple people say “I like the representation, but I thought Mor should be with Azriel and Amren should be gay. Why couldn’t it be Amren?” This. Is VERY telling. Amren is described as not overly beautiful, she has a more abrasive personality, and most importantly, she doesn’t seem interested in any kind of romantic relationship. At all. Her being gay would not get in the way of ANY of your straight romances/ships/plots. It probably would’t even be brought up a lot, because it’s doubtful she’d even be with someone. So people saying that Amren would have been a better candidate feels very much like “Ugh, the gays can HAVE that weird freak Amren, but it’s not fair they get that pretty girl! How can MOR be gay?? What about the boy I want as her boyfriend?”

So many people are shielding themselves from being called homophobic by saying “I want a character to be LGBT! I want there to be representation for LGBT! (Just not THIS character)” Well that’s bullshit, first of all because the way you say “LGBT” instead of “LGBT characters” or “gay characters” kinda reveals the way you view representation as some nebulous kind of check-the-box category to get over with instead something actually important, and second of all because the “LGBT representation” that you’re “all for” is a very specific kind of representation. It’s the kind that isn’t really representation at all.

You’re “all for LGBT rep,” but you never actually want characters you LIKE to be gay. You never want the characters you ship in straight relationships to turn out gay. You want the ugly characters, the evil characters (who are going to die anyway), the characters who never end up in relationships, (and the “smol bean xD” men who you fetishize and ship with other men, but that’s another issue) to turn out gay. That way you can pat yourself on the back for how good and diverse your series is while continuing to enjoy the main straight characters in their straight relationships. That way you’re never forced to invest in the humanity of gay people and their stories, because their “stories” are just a casual mention of their sexuality, or a side plot so tiny it might as well not exist (like in tog).

And as for “poor Azriel!” do I really have to tell you why that’s fucking dumb? I guess it’s not uncommon in this fandom to always prioritize men over women (re: “poor Rhysand when Feyre had to sleep with her abuser that must have been so hard for HIM!!”), but still. Listen to yourself.

On top of all of this, I find it pretty funny (I don’t. I don’t find it funny. At all. None of this is funny it makes me want to vomit) that straight people are throwing a tantrum and acting like it’s the worst thing ever that a ship they were passionate about couldn’t work out because of the characters’ sexualities. HAHAHAHAHAHA! The irony of it, honestly, and the fact that none of you realize it… wow. Do y’all. Have any idea. How many times that happens to gay readers? On a REGULAR basis?? The two characters are similar. Have good chemistry. Interact in a way that hints at a relationship. Would be perfect together. You care about them, you grow invested. And just when you think they might be endgame… oops! They’re straight, and they can’t be together. I don’t have an ounce of pity for people saying that they’re SO upset by this because they were in love with the ship and now it can’t happen because of sexuality. This is our LIFE. It happened to you one fucking time, and the relationship wasn’t even that developed; somehow I think you’ll be okay.

To sum it up, when I hear people complaining about Mor being gay because they thought she should be with Azriel, literally all I hear is “wait but gay people are fine only as long as they don’t get in the way of straight ships and characters :( why can’t they stay on the fringes of the plot where they belong and leave us straights alone :( we used to have 100% of the characters and plot and now we only have 99% :( life is so hard :(“

It’s honestly just really disheartening to see straight people responding so nastily to this, especially when this is just a tiny drop of real representation. Mor’s sexuality might not end up being well done in the book, but there are a lot of gay and bi girls who read these books and this could genuinely make a difference to them. And THAT will ALWAYS be more important than the success of a straight ship, especially in a series in which there is absolutely NO shortage of straight ships and characters. Go pick two of the other 10,000 straight characters to ship and leave us alone.

“FP is innocent, we’ve already proven it now let him out of that cell!” Y/N yelled, but Sheriff Keller shook his head.

"He is going to be charged with tampering with evidence, obstruction of justice, mishandling of a body, perjury and that’s just off the top of my head!“ he yelled angrily, and he watched as Jughead and Y/Ns faces fell. "He’s not getting out anytime soon.” he said more calmly, but Y/N and Jughead weren’t having any of it.

“He was threatened by Clifford!” Jughead yelled but Keller kept his calm exterior, he knew that Jughead was just hurting. “Clifford told him that if he didn’t confess I’d end up shot just like Jason!”

“It was brought to my attention that Clifford threatened him after he was arrested for the murder, what about the days, weeks, hell even months before that?” Keller asked.

“He was scared! Clifford could have had him killed next, or even worse Jughead. I would be terrified to come out and say something too!” Y/N exclaimed, marching up to Keller and getting into his face. “First he had to clean up a murder he wanted no part of, then he hid in fear for months because he didn’t know if he or his family were next, then he was framed, and now that he was finally cleared of those charges, you’re keeping him locked up away from his family that he was only working to protect?! Let him out!” Before Keller could respond, the deputy and a few other officers started walking through the room with FP in handcuffs, and his presence didn’t go unnoticed by Y/N and Jughead.

“Dad!” Jughead yelled, and FP turned to face him and Y/N. “Dad we’re going to get you out of here.”

“Yeah FP, you’ll be home soon!” Y/N said, running towards the officers.

“Jughead, Y/N, you two need to get out of here. I’ll be fine.” FP said, nodding towards the door. “Go on, go be kids, you’ve done enough with this murder case, I don’t need you two getting yourselves into any more trouble.” Jughead and Y/N shook their heads, and Keller nodded.

“Listen to your dad Jughead, get out of here. Let the adults take care of it.” Keller said, his comment enraging Y/N, and she looked over her shoulder to Keller.

“Funny you say that, because it was the kids who solved the murder, not the adults in this hell hole. You guys do a shit quality of work and hold innocent people hostage instead of going out and taking in the real problem starters! I don’t think that’s how policing works.” she spat.

“Hey! Y/N, that’s enough!” FP yelled, making the girl turn back around to face him. She hung her head low, and his face softened as he looked between the two. They were just trying to help him. He turned his attention to Jughead and hardened his face again, he couldn’t risk showing too much emotion in front of them, they were just as weak as he was. “You need to take her and leave, I’ll be okay son, I promise.”

    “But dad-”

“This is not up for discussion.” FP interrupted. “Go on.” Jughead slowly nodded his head, turning for the door, but Y/N wasn’t going to give up so easily. FP did a lot for her, he was like a father to her, and he had always helped her. Even when he took up drinking and Jughead left, he still did his best to help, telling her how to take care of Jughead and he even pushed to her to the realization for her feelings for the beanie clad boy, not that they mattered because he was with Betty. She wasn’t about to give up on the man that never gave up on her or Jughead, she was going to fight.

“I am not leaving here until you’re free FP, I cannot, I will not take this lying down. You never gave up on me, so why should I on you?” she asked, practically pleading him to not send her away.

“There isn’t anything you can do now Y/N, I have to face the consequences of my actions.” he said tenderly, hoping that his calmness would convince her to leave. She started to tear up, her cheeks wetting and she became panicked.

"I was the one who took care of Jasons body, he is just covering for me!“ she blurted out. "I-I-I put him in the freezer and cleaned up his blood off the floor and I-”

“Y/N knock it off with the lies!” FP yelled, and the girl shut her mouth quickly. “You are not going to give any false confessions to get me out of here, you are sixteen, go live your fucking life and be happy. I made my decisions and I’ll be damned if I let you or Jughead ruin your lives because of me.” he scolded, and she crumpled as she felt Jughead put his arm around her shoulders and pull her back. “Get her out of here Jughead. You two go be kids now, you’ve done enough for Riverdale, and I am so damn proud of you.” Jughead nodded his head, and started pulling Y/N towards the door.

“No! FP!” she yelled, but the officers took him into another room and Jughead closed the door to the police station behind them. She fell to the ground and Jughead caught her, and she cried into his chest.

“He’ll be okay, we won’t give up, but you need to learn when to pick your fights because the middle of the police station is not the right place to have one.” Jughead said, trying to calm the girl in his arms. She sniffled and took herself out of his embrace, and she wiped the tears from her face, looking at the police station behind Jughead. She knew Jughead was hurting, she knew he thought that this was unfair and she knew he was angry and sad. FP was the last of his family out here in Riverdale, and they were trying to take that away from the boy, it was unfair. It was then she decided she was going to do something drastic to set FP free, not only for him but for the boy she secretly loved.

    Knock Knock Knock

Jughead quickly pulled away from Betty, the both of them looking towards the front door. “is that your mom?” he asked, mentally cursing the interruption.

“Who else would it be?” Betty breathily replied, and Jughead pulled away, making his way to the front door. He put his shirt back on and adjusted it, preparing to see Alice Coopers face when he opened the door. He pulled the door open and looked outside to see a group of Serpents waiting for him, and his eyes went to a dog that barked at his appearance.

“Easy Hotdog, he’s family.” One of the men said, leaning down to stroke the dog. Jughead looked back up to the long-haired man in the front of the group.

“Hey…” Jughead said, obviously confused by the sudden visit.

“Your dad could have named names but he didn’t,” the man started, looking up at Jughead. “Serpents take care of their own. We wanted you to know that no matter what happens to him, however long he’s gone, that we got your back.” Y/N emerged from behind the man and Jugheads eyes quickly fell on her. He opened his mouth to say something, but then he noticed the jacket she was wearing, and the one she was holding. She smiled up at him and handed the jacket to the long-haired man. The man took the leather jacket with the Southside Serpents sigil on the back, and held it out to Jughead. “This is yours, if you want it.” Jughead looked at Y/N again and took the jacket from the man, examining it.

“Look Juggie, you don’t have to take this, but we want some justice for your father,” Y/N started, and Jughead tore his eyes away from the jacket to look at her. Cheryl walked out from behind Y/N and stood beside her, and Jughead noticed she wore a jacket as well.

“We all want some justice for FP, and we want to stop living in control of other people who are telling us how we should feel and act.” Cheryl ended Y/Ns sentence.

“We are our own people, and we make our own decisions. We can’t let the corrupt police station sit on their ass and not take the justice and equality of Riverdale seriously. We have to do it ourselves if we want something done. Whether you want to join us is up to you, we won’t have any hard feelings if you decide against it, but just know that we do care for you and have your best interest at heart, your dads best interest at heart.” Y/N said, walking up to the first step and climbing up. “We love you Jughead.” Jughead looked at the (Y/H/C) girl in front of him, and she smiled softly at him. “I love you.” She whispered, and Jughead realized in that moment he had his feelings mixed up, and he felt the same towards her.

He looked back down at the group of serpents at his door step and a smirk appeared on his face, he knew what he was going to do. He slid the jacket on, grabbing the lapels and adjusted it, smiling down at the jacket and then up to Y/N who was beaming.

“Juggie?” a small voice came from inside, and Jughead looked over and saw Betty watching him. She must have seen the whole thing, and he slightly panicked. He didn’t want to hurt her, that was never his intention, but he realized the one whom he had loved for what seemed like forever loved him back, and he was finally apart of something he could get behind. The resistance, the change Riverdale needed. He finally had a home and was where he belonged.

“You made the right decision boy,” the long-haired man said, smirking. Jugheads gaze fell upon him, Y/N and Cheryl. “We’re being led by the best, someone who has the right ideas and the right plans of action, Y/N herself.” He said, slinging an arm around the girls shoulders. Y/N smiled, and turned to Cheryl, grabbing her hand and pulling her into a hug as well.

“Speaking of, we have some business we need to take care of, don’t we Cheryl?” Y/N said, and Cheryl nodded her head.

“I do believe we do.” She smirked, looking up to Jughead. “Care to join us?” she asked, and Jughead nodded.

“Juggie!” Betty called, and he looked over at her apologetically. “Can we talk about this?” she asked, and Jughead quickly stuck his head inside the house.

“I can’t right now, we can talk later.” He said, and she rolled her eyes. She opened her mouth to say something but Jughead ran down the steps, joining Y/N and Cheryl at the bottom and they started to walk off. Betty couldn’t believe it, he was actually going with them, Jughead Jones was a serpent. She quickly dressed herself fully and put her shoes on, following them to where-ever they were going. She wanted to make sure Jughead was safe and wasn’t getting into trouble, although with the serpents she was sure that was what they were going to cause.

_____

“Cheryl?’ Penelope called, entering Thornhill and looking around. There was no answer though, so she called again. "Cheryl?”

“In here mother.” Cheryl called from another room, and Penelope followed the sound of her voice. She walked into a living area and saw Cheryl and another person standing in front of the fireplace, white dresses on and candlesticks in hand.

“What are the serpents doing outside, and what is that smell?” Penelope asked angrily. “And who the hell are you?” Y/N and Cheryl turned around, facing the red-headed mother who had been torturing Cheryl all her life.

“Gasoline.” Cheryl said. “It’s the only way we can truly start over, be purified.” Cheryl said, grabbing Y/Ns hand as they watched Penelope’s face turn to horror and shock at the realization of what was going to happen. Cheryl looked at Y/N and smiled. “It’s the only way I can truly be free.” Together the girls threw the candlesticks down, and fire erupted in the room.

Jughead watched as fire enveloped the Thornhill mansion, and the serpents all started to cheer. Adrenaline coursed through Jugheads veins as he watched, excitement taking over for Cheryl. He watched as Penelope ran out of the mansion, tears and fear covering her face. She coughed as the smoke in her lungs was replaced with fresh air and she stumbled backwards, looking up at the flames replaced her once beautiful house. Betty ran from the nearby trees, finding Jughead and pulled on his sleeve.

“What the hell Jughead, did you guys do this?” she yelled angrily, looking at the raven-haired boy. He was about to answer but the serpents yelled and they turned towards the front doors, and saw as they started to open again. Cheryl and Y/N walked out hand in hand as if the house behind them wasn’t on fire, and they made their way down the stairs smiling wide. Two serpents made their way to the front and met them near the front, handing them each their jacket and they put them on. The serpents started yelling and celebrating, and Jughead couldn’t help but do the same.

“Jughead listen to me! Are you going to be with the serpents, yes or no?” she asked, and Jughead looked at her.

“Of course Betty, they’re going to help me get my dad out.” He said, and she shook her head.

“We can do it another way-” she started.

“We can’t, this is the only way, and if I do say so myself, this is a pretty damn good way to do it.” He said, and she rolled her eyes.

“You know what Juggie, you can have the serpents and you can have Y/N, we’re over!” she yelled angrily, and Jughead looked at her confused.

“What?” he asked, and she backed away slowly.

“I can’t be with a serpent, go make all the trouble you want, just leave me out of it. Goodbye Jughead.” She turned and stormed off, and Jughead watched. Y/N walked up to Jughead and he smiled at her, fixing her jacket.

“I’m proud of you, Jughead. And I hope you know that I’m going to help you get FP out, I’m here for you.” Y/N said, and he nodded.

“I love you too.” He blurted out, but his voice was mostly muffled by the sounds of cheering serpents and Penelopes yelling and crying.

“What?” Y/N asked. “What about Betty.”

“We all know she’s still in love with Archie, she’ll be fine.” Jughead said, pulling Y/Ns jacket and smashing his lips with hers. When they pulled apart, Y/N giggled and grabbed his face.

“I’ve wanted to do that for awhile.” She admitted, and he nodded.

“Me too.” He said. He looked behind Y/N to Cheryl who was standing and smiling up at her burning house, her mother crying and yelling at her. “Did you recruit her?” he asked, and Y/N turned to look at her as well.

“After you all left for the jubilee, I stayed behind and talked to her. We almost lost her, Jughead. I couldn’t imagine Riverdale without her. Sure she was a bitch, but she had a lot of shit going on and people deal with it in different ways, she just needed someone to like her for her and be there for her. I want to be that person, I want to help her.” Y/N said, smiling over to the ginger.

“I’ll help her too, I know some of what she’s going through.” Jughead said, and she smiled up at him. “So, you’re leading the serpents now?” he asked

“I am, with the help of Cheryl and you if you want.” She said, and Jughead nodded.

“Of course.” He replied, and Y/N beamed.

“Good, we’re going to bring Riverdale back to its feet. Whether people like it or not, the Serpents are going to be the good guys, even if we have to do some bad stuff along the way.” Y/N said, and Jughead took her hand. Together, they walked over to Cheryl, who tore her gaze from the burning house and she smiled at them. Y/N took her Cheryls hand in her free one, and they stood and watched as smoke rose into the sky and the bright light of the fire lit up the night. This was their first mark, they burned down the source of evil from the past few months in Riverdale, and with that it could be renewed, purified.

“Ready to go?” the long-haired man yelled, and the two of them turned.

“Of course.” Cheryl said, and Penelopes face turned to rage.

“You aren’t going anywhere, young lady!” she screamed, but the three of them started walking towards the group. The loner writer with the broken family, the tortured queen bee with the evil family, and the lost new girl who had no family at all walked together, ready to take the world by the balls. They were the change, they were going to bring peace, even if it meant bringing Riverdale to its knees.

My New Henry Big Boy in .357 mag/.38 Special

About a month and a half ago I used my tax refund to buy this beautiful new lever action rifle. The Henry Big Boy is a lever action produced by Henry Repeating Arms Co., one of their many lever action products. Mine is chambered in .357 magnum, many of their rifles are chambered in pistol caliber cartridges, hearkening back to the days of the Old West when Winchester lever actions were chambered in cowboy pistol cartridges such as .44-40 and .45 Colt. The Henry Big Boy comes in .357, .44 mag, and .45 colt. Since mine is .357, it can also feed and chamber .38 special as well.  I bought this possibly as a short range hunting rifle, something to use when I don’t feel like using my flintlock.  Plus, since it can fire .38 special, it is a very economical plinking gun.  .357 is a fairly powerful pistol cartridge, but from a rifle it sports some very impressive ballistics, and it’s certainly good enough to take medium sized game at short ranges.

The most notable feature of the Big Boy is its brass frame. They also offer the same model with an iron frame, a checkered stock, and rubber butt pad. I considered buying that one because it would probably be more practical as a rifle to lug through thick woods. However the lovely gleam of it’s brass frame, brass butt plate, and brass barrel bands was too much to resist.  It will probably get scratched, oh well, it was worth it. The rifle features a neat hexagon barrel, adding to its nostalgic old timey look and giving you the feeling that you are handling an old fashioned cowboy gun. It features a ten round fixed magazine, which is loaded through a loading port at the end of the barrel.  To load the magazine port must be twisted and magazine rod removed. Then you insert the cartridges one at a time, then re-insert the magazine rod.

When I first bought this rifle the magazine rod was very hard to twist and operate.  However the more and more I work it, the more its wearing in and its becoming progressively easier.

Often the Henry Golden Boy and Big Boy is mistaken as a replica of the American Civil War era Henry M1860 lever action rifle. However this is not true. Rather, the Big Boy is almost like a hybrid of a Henry rifle, a Winchester Model 1866, and a Marlin Model 336.  It has the loading port system and tube magazine of the Henry, the forearm and brass frame of a Winchester M1866, and a Marlin action.  Regardless you still get this feeling of handling and firing an antique cowboy lever gun, a must for my tastes. The sights are simple, featuring and adjustable ramp rear sight and a front post sight.

Another feature I must mention is a transfer bar, which means you can have the hammer uncocked and down on a round without risk of accidental discharge, which is probably the most important modern feature on a rifle with design elements dating to the 19th century.

With .357 the action is very smooth and operates without any problem.  I did some plinking with both .357 and .38 special.  I purchased some cheap bottom shelf ammo not thinking about the possibility of feeding issues. Problem is I bought this really cheap .38 special ammo that used lacquered steel casings, and ejection was certainly is issue. I later bought some better quality .38 special with brass casings and found they fed with far less issues, though the action isn’t as smooth as with .357 and you kind of have to work the lever harder and faster to ensure proper feeding and ejection. The recoil is very light, even firing .357 magnum. Recoil wise I would compare it to 7.62x39.  So it will definitely save your shoulder despite the brass buttplate.

At first I just did some simple close range plinking at steel swivel targets at 25 yards.  The rifle hits right on at that range and it certainly is a fun plinker.  Then I took it to the 100 yard range to see what I can do. I must admit I had a bit of a handicap shooting, I work night shift and it was a particularly bright day. So my eyes were very sensitive to light and my vision a bit blurry. I think I’m turning into a vampire.

I was shooting from a bench rest with open sights, using Fiocchi .357 magnum ammo with 142 grain bullets.  I was firing three rounds groups.  First I tested it at 50 yards. At 50 yards the target and visible and well defined. Note that each increment on the grid is one inch.

The first group shot to the right and high aiming at the bull. I decided to play with the adjustable ramp sight, lowering it one increment.  The result was the 2nd group, which shot low.  Thus I reset the sight and adjusted but aiming low, and to the left, resulting in the third group. At 50 yards it shoots on average 1-2 inch groupings.

I then continued by shooting at 100 yards.  At 100 yards the front sight completely covers the bullseye and black portion of the target.

Despite increasing range to 100 yards it still shot high, in fact it shot much higher than at 50 yards. The first grouping I was aiming right for the bull, resulting again in a high group, with one shot completely off the target. I can only assume know that the .357 magnum’s ballistic arc from this rifle is much more considerable than I had previously imagined.  Thus I adjust the the ramp sight down one increment. Like at 50 yards it then shot too low (2nd group). So I reset the sight and decided to aim low, resulting in the third group. At 100 yards it shoots around 2-3 inch groupings on average.

In my final test, I went back to 50 yards. This time I was not using the bench rest, instead firing off hand.  Nor was I taking time with my shots.  Basically the scenario was that I am the sheriff of a western town and some outlaws are up to no good and I have to deal with them.  So I was shooting as quickly as possible while keeping rounds on target.  This was the result.

Now I must say this is no tack driver, nor is it a long range rifle, and I bought it with that expectation. Ballistics data using a 140 grain bullet show that it has a drop of -.2 inches at 100 yards and -5 inches at 150 yards.  So 100 yards is probably the edge of its optimum range. Mine seems to shoot high, but I still would not go beyond 100 yards.  That is fine to me since where I traditionally hunt it is thick woods and there is rarely any continuous ground more than 75 yards. With a scope you could probably get much better range and accuracy out of it. I imagine that if I was using much better quality ammunition with hotter loads, say +P or buffalo bore ammunition, the groupings would tighten considerably at 100 yards and the adjustable sites will be much more useful.  I shall try that some time in the future and post the results.

My final comments on the Henry Big Boy had to do with its quality. Originally I wanted to buy a Rossi Circuit Judge in .410/.45 long colt, most because of the allure of a revolving rifle.  However, I had seen many complaints about the quality of it and manufacturing flaws. Plus it carried the Taurus name (Rossi is owned by Taurus), a Brazilian company which has a reputation for iffy quality control.  So I decided to ditch the Circuit Judge. I also looked at the Ross M1892 lever action rifle, also in .357/38 and also made by Taurus.  It was $300 cheaper (the Henry cost $730), but when I saw it in person I was not impressed.  The metal work was OK, as was the metal finish, done satisfactorily but nothing thrilling.  However the wood and wood finish looked bad, as if it had been done by either child labor, a drunk, or someone who just didn’t really care about what they were doing.  It was really off putting.  The Henry looks like a rifle of unparalleled quality at first glance. It looks like someone made them with an eye for detail and with uncompromising quality in mind. I also own a Henry lever action in .22LR as well, although with a steel frame, and I can say the same for it.  When the sales person took it out of the box I immediately blurted “holy shit, that’s a beautiful rifIe.” I can’t stress the quality of workmanship that goes into Henry rifles, they are more than just firearms, they are works of art.  They are the only metallic cartridge firearms I own and I have no plans nor feel the need to buy any other modern firearms again. Instead I want to focus my collection on antique muzzleloaders or replicas of antique muzzleloaders.  So for me the quality of the Henry trumps all else, its a rifle you can own for a lifetime and can be passed down from generation to generation.

How can they tell you shit that you’ve been through? They are so confused, who cares about the rational?

Hey, so Brian Barzack(?) made a Facebook post basically saying that he's listening to feedback and changing his husbandry. Just thought you should check it out, I personally think it's all BS and only scrapes the surface of his shitty husbandry. Ie doesn't address the keeping the gators in kiddy pools Ect. I'd like to see you roast the shit out of this fake person and his fake ass post. Thanks :)

Man as much as I would like to believe him, after 30 years of his shit I sincerely doubt he is going to go through with it. He has been blocking people left and right and has only recently started to ‘care’ because people are gaslighting him. His threat of suicide was disgusting and (if he IS serious about it) instead of posting it in a youtube video for pity he needs to go get some serious help. As for him blaming his care on his workers, he is in CHARGE of his workers and needs to oversee what they are doing and the quality care they are putting in to his animals. Directly after saying he was going to improve he did the ‘gecko bowl’ and shoved a bunch of leopard geckos (whos tails looked too thin for my liking) together and sat there with a ton of loud, obnoxious people poking them and prodding them with pens to get them to run around, which is incredibly stressful and awful for the geckos. Again, I do hope he IS trying to improve, but I feel like he is going to make maybe 20 proper cages, and pretend that hes doing it with his whole collection. I have little faith in him, greed destroys people like him and I think he is too far deep in his money making to genuinely want to change. He is going to make a few cages that are proper to show in his videos, and just swap the animals into those cages for the videos to make it look like all his cages are that way. He is business smart, and knows that if he pretends to change then he will get more viewers and less backlash.

okay but i’m fucking sick of people looking at me like i should be grateful that the “only things” i have to worry about in my classes is reading and writing papers. like i’m sorry, i don’t turn in pieces of shit for a grade to placate my professors. i bust my ass and i sit and kill myself over what to write because i CARE and i won’t write a paper unless i’m actually excited about what i’m writing about. so fuck all y’all and let me be stressed, i put out quality shit and will not do any less. ever.

You have been dating Scott for over a year now and everything is going great for both of you. You’re legitimately his princess. He’d do anything for you to be happy. Even though his friends were a bunch of douchebags you didn’t care about them though as long as you were with Scott. However now you hate his friends ever since the tapes got out the whole school thinks the baseball team is rapist including your boyfriend even though you know he’s a sweet angel and wouldn’t even do anything to hurt anyone. Since those tapes came out you have been getting bullied every single day. People would say you’re in love with a rapist. Or that Scott can’t get anyone because he’s a rapist so he went out with you as a last resort. At first you didn’t mind because you knew the accusations about Scott were false and the comment never bothered you but the harassment became worst that it makes you cry. You never told Scott about it because you didn’t want him to worry.

One day you had a free period so you were in the hallway grabbing some stuff from your locker so you can study for an upcoming math test. “Hey look it’s that ugly whore right there,” A girl said walking over to you with her group of friends. “Leave me alone,” you mumbled. “What’d you say!” the other one said. “Just please leave me alone I don’t know what I did to you. I don’t even know you,” you said looking down. The two girls laughed and one grabbed you by your arm and dragged you to a classroom.

“Y/N nobody wants you.” “Scott can’t get any other girl that’s the only reason why he’s with you,” One of them mocked. “Your boyfriend is rapist and you don’t do shit because you love him but doesn’t love you he only wants you for sex.” “Scott loves me you guys don’t know what goes on in my relationship.” “Does he really love you though. What guy loves an ugly worthless slut.” When they said those things, you started to tear up. “Aww the poor ugly baby is crying,” one said pulling you hair. You tried pushing her away but she pulled your hair more. “YOU’RE A FUCKING SKANK” “SCOTT DOESN’T LOVE YOU!”

“HEY WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING TO MY GIRLFRIEND!” Scott yelled bargaining into the classroom. The girls let go of you and ran. Scott immediately pulled you to him and you started crying on him. He carried you and sat down on a chair. “It’s okay princess I’m here now,” he rocked you and rubbed your back.

“How long has this been going on Y/N” “Ever since the tapes came out,” you sobbed. “Why didn’t you tell me princess.” “I-I didn’t want you to worry about me you already have a lot on your plate like baseball season.” “Princess you’re my first priority if you’re not safe and you get hurt I won’t be able to focus on anything. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you. ““Scott, I don’t want you worrying about me.” “No Y/N if I don’t pay attention you might end up. End up dying because of other people’s actions I don’t want to lose you. I don’t want what happened to Hannah to happen to you. I can’t live without you princess you mean the world to me. You should’ve told me about what was happening to you. I would’ve never left your side. I love you so much princess. Whatever they said to you isn’t true. If they ever come for you again I will not hesitate to come after them. I promise to be your knight and shining armor because Y/N M/N L/N are my princess and I will do whatever it takes to keep you safe. ,” his grip on you tightened and he kissed your forehead.

You two stayed like that for a while until the period ended. From that day on Scott never let you go anywhere alone. He was always by your side to protect you from anything at all cost. He even stopped hanging out with his friends just to ensure your safety. Because like he promised he was your knight and shining armor.

  • *Starts doing something else*
  • Does a double take

  • “YOUR WEARING MY CLOTHES!”
  • “Im sorry, do you want me to take them off.”

  • Won’t comment on it
  • Will say he doesn’t mind

  • If it were someone he hadn’t known too long he would ask them not to do it again without permission or something
  • Maybe never speak of it again
  • If it were a longterm s/o who he deeply cared for, then he would be happy when they wear his clothes
  • As long as it’s just stuff like slouchy t-shirts and not his work or school uniform
  • He likes that everyone knows your his when you wear them

  • Huge turn on for him
  • He’d definitely take a few pictures
  • So he can forever cherish the sight of his s/o sprawled on the sofa wearing his oversized white doggoMepphy shirt and pink polka dot shorts whilst smuggling a Mepphy plush
  • Would instantly snap some comfier clothes on himself
  • Snuggle up right to you
  • Cover you both in a blanket
  • And roam his hands up the shirt
  • Gently stirring you from slumber
  • When you wake he kisses you softly and begins teasing you about wearing his clothing
  • Complimenting you telling you how great you look in his clothes

This was super fun to do, thank you for the request! I also need the outfit I described for Memphis s/o because how kawaii would Mephisto pyjamas be? Bonus: High-key imagine he has several clothing lines for men, women, children and pets, and ofc has a sleep range available . No one gives Daddy credit for his businessmen qualities, he’s so wealthy. He has a theme park, with his own march, his own hair care line (as seen in the movie), so no doubt he has other things as well. I might do some head cannons on Mepphy’s march and projects and shit.
