I think what some people fail to understand is the significance of the three kingsguard knights’ actions and words at the battle of the tower of joy. the knights were prepared to kill whoever crossed the threshold into the tower, so long as whoever approached were rhaegar’s enemies. lyanna’s brother was regarded as an enemy, who had to be killed rather than be allowed to see his dying sister. they were acting on *rhaegar’s orders* and following through on *rhaegar’s wishes*. while rhaegar + co were convinced that ned stark would bring nothing but harm to his own nephew, it is lyanna’s words and lyanna’s actions performed on her deathbed that saves jon snow. it was lyanna knowing the “enemy” better than grown men did, lyanna who knew that her brother would promise her anything, lyanna who ensured jon’s survival and a quality of life surrounded by people who love him.
hi there! are there any aspects that might make someone very good at analyzing people?
