I honestly think the most sickening thing about much of the Tumblr community is the people who literally laugh at and enjoy the suffering of people born with privilege. I read posts on here laughing and really just enjoying hearing about the misery of white people, of straight people, of cis people, of men, etc. and it is absolutely nauseating.

Like come now, you can’t tell me every single one of you is a black gay trans-woman [+insert non-privileged group here]. How can you justify the hatred of one privilege when the vast majority of you fall into at least one category of another privilege?

All people are people. All people have feelings. No one deserves to be shit on for their identity, their race, their sexuality, etc. Privilege is something people are BORN with for fuck’s sake. You can’t justify hating someone for being cis any more than you can justify hating someone for being trans BECAUSE IT IS NOT A CHOICE.

DO NOT HATE ANYONE FOR WHO THEY ARE.

DO NOT HATE PEOPLE FOR THINGS THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER.

One thing that really pisses me off is when people say they want to vote for Trump because he ‘says what he really thinks.’

Because honestly Bernie Sanders also says what he really thinks, he just doesn’t think hateful, ignorant, bigoted shit all fucking day. Bernie IS honest, he just isn’t a piece of garbage with no humanity.

Try again, or are you too afraid to “say what you really think” about your reasons for voting for Trump?

Bukavu, South Kivu, (East) Democratic Republic of Congo

It was originally named “Costermansville” (in French) or “Costermansstad” (in Dutch) under Belgian rule. The most spoken languages in Bukavu are French and Swahili (and multiple dialects of Swahili is spoken by the people) but people also speak their native tongue. Swahili was spread by the Arabs and Waswahili from Zanzibar even before the arrival of French.
