People hold hands? Psh I can't relate, I throw hands like a real man.
[puts on fake glasses] It's time to read some hoes.
Me actually liking someone? Sounds fake, I just like the validation that I'm not complete trash.
I'm internally screaming right now because the one day I decide to wear makeup I keep crying. My eyelashes are clumping together and I cannot. I refuse.
Do you ever see the sun and you're like ... Man, I'd love to punch it because same. I want to punch the sun so hard. My only chance to be fist-kissed by a hottie.
I feel bad that I don't recycle. I just can't be inspired to do it because I still feel terrible about life after doing so. [throws water bottle in recycling bin] Oh look, I still have depression!
I want to have a flowery aesthetic... I need a group of friends that are always willing to take pictures of frolicking through flower fields.
I love the fact that no one really knows anything about me, but it also makes me kind of sad at the same time. What is my legacy besides being the mysterious and hot one?
The only person in this world who will never break my heart is education connection lady. She's still in 2009 singing about her education experience and I refuse to believe anything different.
I've spent 10 hours of my life listening to the education connection song. If I don't make it to college, then I may as well just die.
Other people around me are always like "I LOVE YOU! OMG, I LOVE YOU!" Meanwhile I'm just eating my imaginary popcorn thinking about how much I hate everyone.
I'm eating five hour old chicken nuggets and I'm sad. I don't think I'll finish them... I have to throw them away... This is probably the worst thing I've ever done in my life.
Concept: aromantics are treated like humans. We don’t get put under a magnifying glass every time we even mention liking a romantic thing. We aren’t criticized for being in relationships, romantic or sexual. Nobody assumes that we have literally zero emotions or feelings. People don’t think we’re fake. Everyone supports us getting representation in the media. We aren’t seen as monsters. Our needs are respected. We can live without hating ourselves.
i had a rather eventful morning. the bus i was riding crashed—hard.
to say i was shocked is probably an exaggeration. i was listening to “jump” by van halen on full blast (really great song btw). i was fixing my glasses and right when i wore it, my face made out with the seat right in front of me. so no, i wasn’t shocked. i was… a bit speechless.
there were two things i thought of:
first, if i was just a second late with putting my glasses on i could’ve stabbed my eyes and then i would be bleeding and i need to go to the hospital thus missing work and i don’t have enough money to pay for my bill.
second, damn is this what it feels like to collide with another bus because i don’t like the feeling of it so obviously i can’t have the adventurous life i’ve always wanted where i ran away from the bad guys using a stolen car, crashing into things just to get away.
i literally just climbed out of the bus, completely disoriented of my surroundings (i didnt even bother with my refund omg that was how disoriented i was) and just got on into another bus and paid for my fare.
oh and my mom called in panic “ARE YOU HURT?! ARE YOU OKAY?????” to which i replied “I’m chill.”
A/N: I really hope this lives up to expectations guys! Apologies if it doesn’t quite and i’ll see how it goes concerning a part three.
Weak When Ur Around - Blackbear
Bloodfeather - Highly Suspect
“I should’ve listened to Jeff!” Monty spat at Y/N. Quite the crowd was beginning to form around the two of them at the lockers.
“Jeff, huh? And what did he say about me?” She smirked.
“You’d break my heart. Or, in so many words.” He looked at her despairingly. His jaw clenched.
“Jeff’s a smart guy.”
A few nights ago; Rosie’s Diner
The atmosphere was cheery and bright, almost as though she really had been transported back to the superficiality of a commercialized 50′s diner. Except the place had been refurbished a little. Dim lights, oversized clocks with touchy hands and artificial grins. She knew the place well, but something of it haunted her tonight. Maybe it was the way the Jukebox laughed at her for the memories she’d had here. The memories shared with one Zachary Dempsey, who she’d begged to put coins in the Jukebox, and who’d picked the ever appropriate ‘A Teenager In Love - Dion & The Belmonts’.
A loud cough from Montgomery de la Cruz, who was now sat across from her, broke her from those thoughts.
“Cruz. I was beginning to think you were a no-show.” She looked up through her painted lashes at the freckled boy before her. He looked good. Really good. Possibly even better than he had the day she had approached him. It reminded her why he was even here.
“You think I’d stand you up?” He scoffed, eyeing her up.
“I wasn’t sure…” Y/N stirred her milkshake absentmindedly.
“Guess you don’t know what kinda guy I am.” He smirked. He’d regret saying that, she thought. Because she did know, and knowing how he was, and what she was doing, would almost make her a little guilty, if she tapped into her emotions.
Although she didn’t want to admit it to herself, she’d had a good night. Monty was funny, and surprisingly sweet, not to mention those devilish good-looks. So she’d decided to take the plunge and take a little Montgomery. His lips were unexpectedly smooth, moving against hers with obvious hunger. Her arms fell loosely around his neck and his gripped her ass tightly. When they broke apart, both were breathing heavily and smiling to themselves.
“Wow.” Monty panted.
“Wow.” She repeated.
“When I asked you out, I wasn’t really expecting a yes.” He revealed. She chuckled.
“Honestly, I’m not sure I was, either.” She revealed, tracing his jawline with her index finger.
Monty didn’t always quite understand the way she spoke to him, but he made the mistake of liking that about her. And he made the mistake of starting to like her. Monty wasn’t big on mistakes, but this was a BIG mistake. The baseball player liked to think he was a player player- he was wrong about that too. He ended up getting too involved and getting burned. Jeff always helped him, but he knew that Monty wished he was more like Jeff.
Monday’s number one priority was avoiding Montgomery until she had decided where she wanted this to go. She still wondered what flavour girl baseball players were into, but would be lying if she said Monty wasn’t a bit of a liability.
If she was being completely honest with herself, Monty’s friendship with Zach was a driving factor in this escapade. She wanted to hurt him the way that he had hurt her, not really caring who else got hurt on the way.
She saw Jeff Atkins on the way to her first period, wondering what it would be like to tutor him. He was with a group of guys, messing around and laughing, and she thought he was probably just as she imagined.
“How’d it go man?” Jeff brought his bat down to his side to meet Monty.
“Yeah, really good I think.” Grinned Monty.
“Really?” Jeff attempted to hide his surprise, but to no avail.
“Yeah, she was really into me.” Monty was determined.
“Have you spoken since?” Jeff brought the bat back up, wanting to avoid his friend’s eye contact. His eyes always told the truth.
“She said she’d call me.” He shrugged, leaning against Jeff’s batting cage.
“And has she?” Jeff cleared his throat.
“Well…it’s only been a few days.” He shuffled his feet a little.
“She does like me, I’ll prove it to you.” Monty’s anger came through in his voice.
“Go ahead.” Jeff hit the incoming ball with force.
Something she kept to herself, was the amount she visited the school’s library, so she knew the inside out of it. She was a little early for her lunch revision session with Jeff. The table in the very corner called to her, and she set up her psychology things, ready to tutor. She still wasn’t entirely sure how this boy could really need a tutor in psychology, but the extra credit wouldn’t go unappreciated. Just as she was putting her glasses on, Jeff slid into the seat opposite her.
“Hey, Y/N, I’m Jeff.” He reached out his hand for her to shake, which she did, but laughed at his introduction.
“I know who you are, Jeff, your reputation precedes you. I couldn’t count the number of home runs you’d had, literally and metaphorically.” She casually noted as she passed him a red pen.
“Well you’re not shy, are you.” He raised his eyebrows at her forwardness.
“Or maybe I am, It’s all to do with psychology.” She tapped her brain demonstratively.
“That was a clever change of subject.” He chuckled.
“So, exactly how bad are you at psychology?”
Y/N and Jeff spent the next 30 minutes in complete concentration on what she was teaching him, he listened with intent and asked questions when he needed to. This was a surprise to her, because she had assumed Jeff was failing because he didn’t care enough to try, and that he was too busy with his other ventures. She started to think that maybe she had been wrong about him.
It was common knowledge that Jeff Atkins was a bit of a womanizer, and she had noted to stay away from that trouble, she much preferred to create her own.
Out of the corner of her glasses, she noticed a familiar figure coming her way.
“Hey…you never called me back…” Monty played with his bag strap nervously, coming up to the head of the table she and Jeff were sat at. Monty was shocked by Jeff’s presence, but it was too late to turn back now.
“I know.” Her voice was cool and detached. It shot Montgomery right in the chest.
“But I thought-” He faltered.
“What? That I owed you something?” She scoffed.
“Well I mean-” Monty continued to stutter, clearly feeling uncomfortable discussing this here.
“I think it might be best if you leave, dude, we’re studying right now.” Jeff piped up, calm and collected. He gave him a pressed smile, something in his eyes saying; we’ll talk later, which struck with Monty, and he left.
“Thanks. Let’s carry on.” She motioned to the textbook and smiled sweetly, hoping Jeff would ignore what had transpired. But, of course he didn’t.
“So you didn’t call him?” He smirked knowingly. “Could’ve picked someone easier, L/N.”
She remained stoic for a few moments, before looking up at him; “Where’s the fun in that?”
“Touche.” He flashed his bright teeth, before seeming to remember something. “But Monty, he’s-”
“So was little Lacie King. She was distraught when she realized she wasn’t so special anymore.” She pouted, mocking sad.
“So that’s how you wanna play, L/N?” He crossed his arms over his broad chest.
“That poor man,” Y/N sighed as she helped Harry pick up the carnage that Danny Whiz-Bang left behind after another one of his outbursts the day before. “They need to get him some help.”
“I think he’s past that point, Y/N. The War took the best of us,”
“I can’t imagine what Rosie and the boys go through with him,” Harry grunted.
“We all have our own problems. Hopefully he won’t be back anytime soon. I’m tired of replacing tables and chairs.” Y/N gave the barman a scathing look. “I’m serious,” Y/N left him to sweep and continued cleaning behind the bar.
“You know, a little sympathy goes a long way,” Y/N said, putting clean glasses away.
“Sympathy? In a pub? In Small Heath?” Harry scoffed, “He doesn’t need sympathy,”
I think people have mystified Larry. I think Harry just looked up to L as big brother. And he was already over it by beginning of 2012. After seeing how Harry is tacitil with people I can't just see Larry as anything different. On the other hand zarry 👀👀👀👀 all those 2013 rumors of them and some girls if nothing else they definitely had sex on same bed same time
Listen……. do not get me started with my Zarry theories….. (me: *puts on reading glasses, starts flipping through my book of Zarry Proof*)…. lmao no but yeah there was definitely at least a certain period of time in 2013 where I think they might have tried some stuff? Like I think there were girls present, but…. I also think some initial boundaries got crossed somewhere along the line, I’ll leave it at that.
And okay this is nothing, but for some reason this is my biggest reason for thinking something happened between them:
LIKE?!?!?!? ZAYN?!?!!? Tell me why he went out of his way, bypassed a completely open spot at the table, moved Niall aside, squeezed his way into Harry’s seat, and wrapped the protective boyfriend arm around him???? Like it means nothing but it’s everything?!?!?
The cameras make a habit of getting a LIL TOO CLOSE to Viktor and Yuuri because the mics sometimes pick up what they say to each other before skating or in the Kiss & Cry, and audiences eat that shit up. There are people who watch ISU events like it’s the Viktor&Yuuri Show, and the sports channels know it
TUNE IN FOR THE NIKIFOROV-KATSUKI VARIETY HOUR, the advertisements practically blare.
Viktor can often be heard composing what sounds like literal on-the-spot poetry. (”You are my sun and stars and I will love you until I’m in the ground–”) Much of this is to calm Yuuri down before he skates. Most viewers assume that he writes this shit down somewhere but people who know Viktor understand it to be just the shit that literally is always coming out of Viktor’s mouth.
“Oh,” Yuuri says while they’re waiting for Viktor’s scores one time. He hasn’t put his glasses back on yet and is kind of just staring, unfocused, into the nebulous distance. “I forgot to call Minako and wish her a happy birthday.”
(“YEAH YOU DID,” Minako growls at the television back in Hasetsu. Hiroko pats her back. She just turned fifty. She’s sensitive.)
“Well, you’re dead now,” Viktor says, picking fuzz off his costume. “It was nice knowing you. I’ll never forget you.”
“Will you move on from me?” Yuuri asks. All of this is completely deadpan as they squint at the scoreboard. Yakov is on Viktor’s other side, rolling his eyes.
“No. I’ll roam the halls of our empty home, wailing for my lost love. When I die, I’ll continue to haunt the place where I was once happy. They will call me the Silver Spectre. Once or twice a year, Americans will come and try to film me. I’ll scream into their camera equipment and carve the words triple axel into the hardwood.”
“Please not the hardwood, Vitya.”
They find out that most ISU programming isn’t actually put on a delay during the 2018 Worlds, when Viktor and Yuuri are congratulating each other on winning gold and silver and the cameras pick up Viktor saying, “When we get home, I’m going to bend you over the table and–”
“LOVING WORDS FROM VIKTOR NIKIFOROV-KATSUKI TO HIS HUSBAND,” screams the commentator, whose producer is currently bellowing abort abort into his left ear. “LET’S GO TO PAULA WHO’S TALKING TO BRONZE MEDALIST YURI PLIS–OKAY, NEVER MIND. HAHA, TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES! WE’RE CUTTING TO COMMERCIAL.”
‘Technical difficulties’ is Yuri punting a tiger plush so hard towards Viktor that it knocks him backwards and into the backdrop for the Kiss & Cry.
“This used to be an ELEGANT SPORT,” Yakov growls. He looks to Lilia, whose expression is suspiciously toothy. “Are you laughing at this, Lilya?”
“How dare you accuse me of such a thing,” Lilia replies.
I share a very small room with my sister, and obviously don’t have much room for an altar. I use most of my space for my Hellenic shrines and altar. I keep my witchy stuff on my shared bedside table. Here is what I use, and how I store/display it. This is element based, but you can use it however you like.
Small Himalayan Rock Salt Lamp - This is a tool I use all the time. It detoxifies my room, and cleanses the space. I feel so much more at ease with it on, like it’s washing everything away!
Crystals - You might want to move these or switch them out depending on what spell you’re doing, as all energy contributes to the working, but while you’re in your room, or even while you’re away, you can leave these here to represent Earth.
Salt - Little packets of salt work, or you can place a bowl with some salt in it on your altar. I use my rock salt lamp.
Dirt - A literal baby jar of dirt works, or you can put a plant on your altar if it’s by a window. I have a succulent!
Earth Imagery - A mini globe would be pretty cool! Or even a little eraser or what not. Having an actual picture of the Earth would be amazing, especially if the clouds were visible, and maybe if it had the sun in the background. Then it could be all encompassing of the elements.
Herbs, Flowers, Plants, etc - As with the crystals, you may want to change these out or put them away during spells, or switch them out. However, they would look really cool as you went with the seasons!
Fossils - I think fossils are awesome Earth representations. They have been in the ground for a very long time! I used to have some really cool fossils I used to represent Earth on my altar.
Tree Slice - Have you ever seen those little wooden slices that come from a tree stump? The ones that definitely had huge roots? Those would be perfect to represent Earth!
Birthday Candles/Tea Lights - You can colour code! These are great for short workings, or even to call the elements. To make these stand up, place them in a bit of clay and let it harden.
Matches - Double whammy here- light your candles and have a representation!
Ash - I used to have volcanic ash, which was perfect. It got spilled, but for the while that I had it, it was awesome. Collect ash from incense, a fire, etc, and use it (just wait for it to cool!!!)
Charcoal - I always thought charcoal looked kinda witchy. I think a dish of it would make a good rep.
Charred Wood - If you have a bonfire, or just so happen to light a piece of wood on fire, you could let it cool and use it for your altar.
Lamp - If you have a secret altar, a little lamp could be an inconspicuous representation for fire, as it does produce light and heat.
Lantern - You can buy super cute mini lanterns at the Dollar Store. I love them, but haven’t gotten one yet. I think they would be fun to use for Fire.
Glass of Water - You can use whatever type of water you’d like; moon water, rose water, purified water, gem elixir; take your pick! Just make sure it doesn’t get moldy and stay moldy. Change it out each day/week.
Sea Shells - You can get these in super small sizes! Or, you can get them big and bulky.
Sea Glass - These little stone-like fragments are so pretty! They look just like crystals, and can be found on the beach or in the store!
Sea Salt - Sea Salt could work to represent Water, especially if you pour it into a seashell or add in sea glass to it. It could be like a little potpourri of water related objects!
Rain Cloud - You can create clouds out of things like stuffing for toys, cotton balls, and sometimes led lights. It could be a fun project, or you can buy one of them off of etsy.
Mermaid Image - I have a mermaid book mark made of metal, and it sits with my other water-related objects. I feel like it adds that feel of majesty to my water representation.
Drift Wood - This is so pretty! The pieces are smooth, have a fun shape, and definitely capture the essence of water!
Sand - If you go to a beach, collect some sand, and place it somewhere on your altar! Be sure to put it in a bowl, though, because it is hard to clean up.
Sea Weed - You can hang this somewhere, or put it directly on your altar. Either way, it looks great.
Coral - If you find some coral, you can place it on your altar. It looks so neat!
Starfishes/Sand Dollars/etc. - These are a little harder to find on the beach, but if you do, place them on your altar.
Wind Chimes - These add a little decoration to your altar, as well as give you an air representaiton. You can even listen for the tinkling of bells to see if any fae are around!
Bells - If you ring a bell, it disperses stagnant energy, and helps to cleanse a space. Having one on your altar is a great way to keep it fresh!
Feathers - This is a pretty obvious one, an oldie but a goodie. If you have some feathers, you can use them, but make sure there are no laws against collecting them in your area. Alternatively, you can use fake ones from a craft store.
Empty Glass or Bottle - Air is all around us. Use that to your advantage!
Dandelion Puff - This is what I immediately think of when I picture the wind. You can collect some puffs and put them in a glass.
Bird’s Nest (fake) - You can buy or make a fake bird’s nest. They look pretty real, and have this awesome rustic naturey vibe to them!
Leaves - They were once high in the sky! Collect them during the fal season or after a storm.
Incense - Another well-known one. You can burn this and use the smoke.
Tornado Making Jar - You know those little jars that you can shake up, and they make a tornado? Those would be a fun water-air duo!
Small Jewelry Box - This can store crystals, herbs, essential oils, etc. I use to use mine to cleanse my crystals becuase it played music!
Multi Colour Light-Up Candle - I found mine at Five Below! It lights up in tons of different colours, but is pretty large. However, it takes up a lot less room than a bunch of different coloured candles.
Your Wand - Having your wand on your altar makes it a sacred, special tool. It will be charged by the witchy items you have there, and will feel natural inn the environment.
A Mini Besom or Real Besom (Broom) - I use a paintbrush as a mini besom, as I can’t have real one. However, it would be nice if I did, and I’d keep it near my altar!
Your Grimoire/Spellbook/BOS/etc - If you aren’t hiding it, you could keep it on your altar!
A Fire-Safe Dish or Cauldron - If you water scry, burn things, or just like to include your cauldron in your spells, you can keep it on your altar.
Incense Tray - Incense can’t be burned without somewhere to place it. Keep your incense holder handy!
Altar Cloth - This ties everything together! It can be switched out for sabbats/festivals/seasons/spells.
Chalice - I’m not Wiccan, but I use the chalice in my workings every once in a while, usually for water-related magic. You can get these beautiful metal ones at antique stores, or regular old wine glasses at the dollar store!
Mortar and Pestle - For practical use and an awesome vibe! You can keep this near your herbs.
Coloured/Enchanted Salts - They display beautifully, and are really good to have on hand.
Spirit Vessels - These can go in their own little corner if you like. They could also be the center of your altar, especially if you work mainly with spirits.
Tarot/Other Cartomancy Cards - Find a nook for your cards to be kept safe and clean. They will be charged by the other objects all around it, which makes it an awesome idea to have on your altar.
Scrying Mirror - Make this the main attraction, or perhaps just a piece of the puzzle. If you have an ornate mirror, it could be a very drawing part of your altar!
Crystal Ball - Like the scrying mirror, it could be a background piece or the focal point.
Runes - If you cast runes, you can keep your bag or box of them on or near your altar.
Other Divination Tools - You cans store these, or just la them throughout your altar. Whatever you choose, having your tools close by will be awesome!
Twig Shapes - You can make sigils out of twigs and hot glue! Add a ribbon or piece of twin in the shape of a loop, and you can hang them above your altar as decoration and as a little energy booster!
Circle (Embroidery Hoop) - I know most people use salt to cast circles, but I actually use an embroidery hoop. I cast one around myself, and one around the items I am working with (ex: what’s in the hoop).
Knife - If you use a ritual or practical knife in your workings, it’s good to have on hand. I can’t have one, but I like my wand better anyway, personally.
Fae Garden - You’ll have to have plenty of sunlight near your altar for this one, but it will definitely be fun to have some Fae living on your altar!
Spell Supplies - Random bits and bobs, like egshells and ribbons, can be kept on your altar as well.
