push 3

I think it's great that there's not too much of a change or else they'd have to go back and explain a gazillion things which could derail the main plot. Like, there are already so many unanswered questions I need to know the answers to NAO. But srsly they are so married are they blind.

I am starting to think it’s the ageing child actors that made Chibbers push it back to 3 years, because for such a big time jump things really haven’t changed. And that’s fine! I didn’t want Ellie to suddenly be over her fears of intimacy or whatever, I really want to see the important character development and any big changes happen with my own eyes. But then again, with Hardy back only recently and with hints there will be some flashbacks to the time they were apart, important things must have occurred in those years…

Trump pushes racist anecdote to defend voter fraud lie

  • In a meeting with congressional leaders, Trump continued to push the lie that 3 million to 5 million undocumented immigrants voted illegally.
  • According to the New York Times, Trump’s rationale came by way of an anecdote from famous 59-year-old Bavarian golfer Bernhard Langer.
  • Trump described an incident in which Langer “was standing in line at a polling place in Florida on Election Day … when an official informed Mr. Langer he would not be able to vote.”
  • “Ahead of and behind Mr. Langer were voters who did not look as if they should be allowed to vote, Mr. Trump said, according to the staff members — but they were nonetheless permitted to cast provisional ballots,” the Times continued.
  • “The president threw out the names of Latin American countries that the voters might have come from.”
  • Trump described one incident in which a single rich white person was unable to vote.
  • That could have been the result of any number of bad but mundane reasons from inaccurate registration records to Langer arriving at the wrong precinct, while other nonwhite people were allowed to vote.
  • This is not evidence of mass voter fraud.
  • This is evidence Trump is suspicious of any Latino person who tries to vote. Textbook racism. Read more

sc  rRE A MS!!!!! OH MY GOD THIS IS SO CUTE THANK YOU MY ENTIRE BODY IS CLEANSED & CURED!!!!

{For Her} a Chris Evans imagine

“Just breathe, babe,” Chris said, trying to stay calm. I was trying, but the breaths wouldn’t come. He sat back in the chair, helpless look on his face. I knew he wanted to help, but there wasn’t nothing else for him to do. I had refused any kind of pain management. It was our first baby and I wanted to be present. I’m crazy.

“Okay, time to push,” the doctor said and I turned to look at Chris. He nodded and walked back over to me, grabbing my hand. “Squeeze as tight as you need to,” he said, giving me the best smile he could muster. “Alright,” I heard the doctor say, “1, 2, 3, push,” she told me and I pushed as hard as I could, desperate for it to just be over. “Doing great, babe,” Chris encouraged, giving me a kiss on the cheek. After a few more pushes, I heard it. Her cries filled the room and the tears poured as I looked at Chris, smiling and tears running down his cheeks.

“You did it,” he told me, leaning over to kiss me. He watched the nurses make sure our daughter was fine and moved to cut the cord. Exhaustion washed over me as I laid my head back and closed my eyes, knowing she was in good hands.

I woke up later to see him curled up in the chair, the tiny bundle in his arms. He was leaning in close to her, whispering. I couldn’t help but cry again as I watched him talking to her. “You’re so beautiful,” he whispered, “just like mommy,” he finished, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. He noticed me sitting up to watch him and he smiled. He stood up carefully and walked toward me, sitting close to me on the bed. He kissed me and handed her to me. “Thank you,” he told me quietly and I looked up at him. “For what?,” I asked and he smiled. “For her.”
