@the color theory anon: don't ever stop spinning that color wheel around man. hot pink is your best friend. warm and cold color's are really really fun to clash with either with background or general contrast and that could probably help you out translating b+w to color as well! deep purples and light pinks -- turquoise and violet -- electric green and navy blue -- go to town! have fun! bring your art to life like that! and remember: try to avoid shading with black or white. spin that wheel!
i agree w just. fucking around. part of why i dont understand color theory is because i dont think there should be rules because i love doing whatever the hell i want. its all about finding what works best for you.. for example this message makes me nervous because im not a fan of mixing saturated colors hhjfkdhs i love my neutrals and midtones and u can pry them from my cold dead hands. but if thats what u wanna do dont let anyone stop you
ive said this 1000 times but i’ll keep saying it; experiment. GO WILD. you are the god of your art.
[image description: a stock photo on a white background of a pink, purple, green and yellow serpent puzzle, shown shaped into a coiled snake with a raised head and twisted into a box shape, held on a lighter-skinned flat palm. The serpent puzzle is similar to a snake puzzle, comprised of coloured triangle pieces string together to form a line that can be twisted and shaped, but the serpent puzzle pieces are rounded off, forming plastic tubes with diagonal-cut ends.]
I have finally found a non-Smiggle listing for the serpent puzzle!
The serpent puzzle is the purple and aqua shown in the mobile header of this blog, a toy that’s generated a few asks from stimmers wanting to know where they can find one. It’s a fabulously smooth, rounded alternative to a snake puzzle, and I love playing with it. It doesn’t even need to be shaped; I often just sit at my desk rolling the puzzle over my lap or in my hands. Unfortunately, I was never able to find a vendor that stocked this outside of Smiggle stores, which makes it difficult for US-based stimmers to get their hands on.
The listing states the size is 50 x 3 cm. Unfortunately, there is no provision for choosing colours.
I don’t know what the quality on this is like, and it still isn‘t an inexpensive toy. I’d be thrilled if anyone who buys it and reviews it sends us an @ mention!

brands they gave cattle, one line descriptions of where he was from
and who he was.
rinsed out his mouth over and over, losing the taste of bile and ice

the scars were still there. “Stop it,” he told his reflection,
whose mouth mimicked his mockingly. “What is wrong with
