purple and blue wedding

According to the preview Rosaline’s wedding dress is going to be blue/purple with some green accents. I’m honestly so grateful they’re not giving her a white dress since the bride-in-white tradition didn’t get popularized until the Victorian era. While I’m sure some women before that did wear white at their weddings, I’ve always been a little annoyed that every bride does even in pre-Victorian/non-Earth settings. Like, you know you’re allowed to put in her in other colors, right? I’m sure the audience can still tell who’s getting married.

“Your relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand; one, representing you, Sarah and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other representing you, Michalene and all that you were, and all that you are, and all that you will ever be.

Each one holds its own unique beauty, strength and character. They can stand on their own and be whole, without the need of anything else. When the two are blended together they represent an entirely new and extraordinary love relationship.”

September 21, 2016

That was the day that I married my other half. Before I met Sarah I never truly understood such a love: supportive,  trusting, intimate and passionate. When I am with her I feel strong, free to be myself.

Every second I spend with her, experiencing the world with her and learning more about her (and myself); every moment makes me love her more and more.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us

Thank you @rebeccasugar (and the crewniverse) for inspiring our wedding’s theme, fusion. You are doing such amazing things through Steven Universe! Thank you.

Thank you to our family and friend for their acceptance and support. I really can’t even begin to thank you all enough. (As an only child I’m also excited to have a sister and brother-in-law now :P ) Our family just got a lot bigger :D

So, without further adieu…

Hi mom any suggests for healthy wlw books that aren't obvious to anyone not reading them that it's about two women falling in love and/or any suggestions for healthy wlw movies thanks :)

The Difference Between You and Me by Madeleine George
The hardback only has ballet flats and combat boots on the cover and if you take the cover off the book is purple

Jenny’s Wedding
Blue is the Warmest Color
(Avoid Orange Is the New Black because it’s basically all sex, supports abusive relationships, and kills off WLWOC)
