THE END — i’ll make up an ending, or post the ending if i’ve written it

For the world has no place in our bed, AKA The One Where Obi-wan and Maul Were Fucking For 3 Years Before TPM:

(warning: this is long AF)

“Because,” Obi-wan gasped out- he felt like he was drowning, like trying to pull the last bit of air from an underwater bubble- “I care. About you. I can’t do that. I can’t, I can’t.”

Maul looked up at him, glancing just barely at the double-bladed Sith lightsaber on the ground where he’d offered it to Obi-wan. “They would Knight you for it. I have studied the old laws of the Jedi. Killing a Sith is an automatic Knighthood.”

100 Prompts That Will Make You Cry: Part 1

Unfortunately, my amigos, we managed to come up with 100 prompts. Here’s part 1:

  1. You’re a ghost haunting your own funeral. You see that nobody showed up.
  2. What are these strangers doing in your house? You’re confused and angry, it’s been a week and it seems like they’re not leaving, they’re not even paying attention to you. You’re the ghost haunting your house without knowing it.
  3. A single man and dog run the Iditarod only to show up with the medicine for his daughter too late. This is his story.
  4. You fight for a noble cause. You complete all the necessary steps. You reach the top of the world doing good deeds to improve peoples lives. It’s your first day of retirement and you watch your hard work comes undone before your eyes.
  5. “You can’t understand how it is to feel this worthless. I just want it all to go away! I want it all to STOP!”
  6. Despite everything they did, everything they went through. It was made clear that their attempts were pointless, as they were too late to save them.
  7. The only thing left for you to do was to leave forever
  8. You didn’t visit your parent figure in hospital the day before they passed away because you wanted to finish your homework. Less than 24 hours later, you get a message from your sibling. “They passed away this morning.”
  9. No matter how hard you try, they just laugh at you. You are a joke, a game, you don’t matter. You’ve had enough.
  10. “Robert, you can’t just leave! There are fifty kids waiting for you! You promised you’d get us out alive. You told them so!” “No, darling, I promised I’d get us out alive. Us, being me and my 500 grand. Thanks for your help, by the way. Sorry about the boiled alive thing. Chao!”
  11. Why did you leave me? It’s been 15 years. Why did you leave? I can’t just accept the fact that you showed up on my doorstep expecting an apology. I have a family now. And I can’t let you pull me into your problems.
  12. Your school, company, or organisation has required you to go to therapy for a potentially traumatic incident. This is the session when you decide to tell the story of becoming estranged from your last living relative.
  13. You can only watch the live news helplessly as, thousands of miles away, an tsunami happens in the country your best friend happens to be visiting
  14. “My head is full of you but my arms are empty.”

  16. Person A shares something that no one knew about them and it is very personal and then they get outcasted by their family and person B is the only one to support them as they cry.

  18. A crying child in the hospital bed looks to you for answers. She wants to know where her mommy is. You have no answer.
  19. “I cannot take it anymore, Sam. You don’t tell me anything, you’ve been disappearing for hours, you have phone calls you don’t want me to hear, and now you forgot our anniversary. I’m done being patient. I have packed my things, you can keep the car and the house. Goodbye.” A small box fell out of his fingers, and a ring with a diamond shining merrily on the band rolled away, as the phone stopped playing out the voicemail.
  20. You unlock your phone, and, ignoring the shaking of your hand, answer the call. “Hey” you say, not even trying to compress the wound, too far gone as you already are, “no, i’m fine. I’ll be with you in a minute or two…”
  21. I knew it would be there, I saved for this special occasion. It was my deserved reward after a shitty day and it was gone. The cupcake was gone.

Can we just take a minute to talk about how amazing Nico actually is?
Like…
- He was the only one to notice and be friendly to Hestia on The Last Olympian
- He’s so goddamn polite. Everyone always characterizes him as like not giving two fucks, but he was raised a fucking gentleman and he canonically is.
- Tbh, he probably pulls out the chair for Will when they go out for dinner.
- He’s a fucking genius. He survived Tartarus alone. Like, he /knew/ to drink from the Plegethon (spelling?) river to be able to breathe. How?
- He survived on his own for about 3 years.
- He’s so sweet to Hazel.
- he’s so sweet in general. Like, the whole thing with Bob and such.
- He’s so goddamn brave. He went through Tartarus alone and he keeps fighting
- He’s a small cinnamon roll that must be protected at all costs.

vampire stuff
  • vampires getting super invested in nutrition so they know how to take care of their humans, and then being horrified at what humans will actually consume:
    • three-day-old coffee
    • twenty piece chicken nuggets
    • one (1) granola bar as a meal
    • their own fingernails
  • humans lying about what they eat:
    • “How do pop rocks even work?”
“They’re made of tiny larvae that explode when they come into contact with human saliva.”

If you had told Dex even a week ago that he would willingly be sharing a blanket with Derek Nurse on the floor of the Haus living room all afternoon, pressed together so close they’re practically in each other’s laps, he would’ve laughed in your face.

Now, he just bangs a fist against the side of the old space heater in front of them and subtly pulls Nursey a little closer into his side. Not that there’s all that much closer to pull him.

“I told them,” he mutters. “Draft fucking central.”

He not so much sees as senses Nursey roll his eyes. “Rans and Holtzy not letting you replace all the windowpanes last year is not why the heating went out, yo.”

Intellectually, Dex know this. But it’s easier to blame their former captains for their current predicament than it is to blame the fact that he’s let routine Haus maintenance slide so much this semester that they’ve ended up here. Because if Dex doesn’t keep a close eye on things like the barely functioning water heater, or the garbage disposal that’s missing two blades and is about to fall out of the sink entirely, who will?

Except, well, he’s been distracted this year. From the moment he got back from summer break and moved into the attic with Nursey, he’s been… distracted.

Nursey is distracting.

I’m just tired, man. Like there’s so much angry and negativity in the world, and the one safe place I had for the last few years, the place where I found strength to get out of a really bad situation in my life, is gone. Poof.

Maybe I’m being over-dramatic, God knows I am so often, but this one took a lot from me.

Look. Felix (Pewdiepie) made a mistake, he thought his little “joke” was comedy, but as someone who’s been studying comedy for the past four fucking years, racism is not comedy. If you’re gonna target a group of people for the sake of a joke, you make damn sure they deserve it. Jewish people do not deserve it. Saying “death to” a group of people who have had the fucking shit kicked out of them for centuries is not fucking funny. It’s sad and, quite honestly, lazy. What pisses me off is that instead of 100% owning up to it, he’s trying to write it off as a “joke gone wrong.” Buddy. Admit you fucked up big time. Admit the joke was not funny and that it wasn’t humor. It was not comedy. By calling it comedy, you offend people who pour their heart and soul into making the masses laugh and feel good.

And then, major Youtubers backed him up, saying he’s “just being himself.” People like Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Lordminion777, all people who in the past have supported love and acceptance. People who I’ve looked up to for years. Hell, I’d go as far to say Mark was an idol of mine. However, they all backed up someone who is too much of a coward and too into himself to admit he made a mistake.

As someone who really admired these people, I’m hurt as hell.

As someone who’s studied communications and public relations for the last four years, I’m pissed off as fuck. You wanna support him? Fine. But don’t try to step back from repercussions of doing so. You went into this mess, you STAY in. Pewdiepie landed himself in hot water and by supporting him just being his wacky ol’ self, you jumped right in too. I understand standing up for a friend, but if my friend went and pulled some shit like that? You bet your ass I’m calling them out. To pull from Harry Potter books, if Neville Longbottom can stand up to his friends, so can you.

To conclude, jokes about killing minorities isn’t comedy. If you try to use them for comedy, you’re lazy and you’re pretty pathetic. Pewdiepie is a grown adult, and needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Do you know any break up fics with a happy ending?

Thank you for these requests! ALL ABOARD THE ANGST TRAIN! (I couldn’t include a lot of fics because the breakup aspect is a spoiler, but let me know if I missed any that you think should be on here!)

Yuuri and Victor Break Up (With a Happy Ending!)

rekindling by fan_nerd, Mature, 9.1k
Victor stands on Yuuri’s doorstep in the pouring rain with a bouquet of flowers. It’s the middle of the night. The tall man is out of breath, soaking wet, and his eyes are red. Yuuri sighs, letting his ex-boyfriend in like the sympathetic fool that Victor knows he is.
“What are you doing here?”
He hurries to catch his breath and reply, but his mouth is dry. Victor doesn’t exactly have an answer to that question. WHAT THE HECK THIS IS AMAZING

Break the Cycle by SigmundFreud, Explicit, 26k
Yuuri’s neck was bright red, matching the colors of his cheeks. His eyes were half-lidded with pupils blown wide. He could try to avoid Victor all he wanted, but standing this close to the man made Yuuri lose all rational thought. Victor was like a drug, the strongest drug Yuuri knew, and he could never reject those lips. I love this fic omg

Equal Footing by runningwafers, Gen, 4.3k
When Yuuri says he wants to end things the night before the free skate, Victor breaks down. Maybe it’s the catalyst they need to finally get on the same page about their relationship.

See You Next by rougeandtonic, Explicit, 12k (WIP)
Yuuri realizes that he’ll sabotage Victor’s career if he asks him to coach and compete at the same time. This leads to a standoff of ultimatums over who will skate and who won’t. A standoff that ends with Victor in St Petersburg and Yuuri half a world away. SO MUCH ANGST

Let’s End This by DawnMalfoy, Not Rated, 1.9k
Yuuri is not good at difficult conversations, so when it comes to having a difficult conversation with Victor things don’t go as he planned them to. HAPPY ENDING!

The Love We Deserve by cactusoctupus, Mature, 20k
The thing is Victor is so beautiful, so brilliant. And he always imagined that Victor was just around Yuuri to have fun. To have something to do. The proposal however, made it too real. Yuuri could not accept Victor loving him that way. Because Victor deserved better than that. He deserved better. I haven’t read this yet but it was rec’d to me by a follower!

They Say by momichi, Teen, 3.6k
They say Victor and Yuuri aren’t really a thing, but Yuri Plisetsky knows better. Very cute and a bit angsty!

Holding on for Dear Life by icterine, Teen, 2.4k
It turns out that sometimes heartbreak happens in seconds, unexpectedly – and once it does, there’s no dulling of the senses. Victor’s heart shatters. Great one-shot!

The Man Who Can’t Be Moved by deeleeon, Teen, 9.3k (WIP)
Victor and Yuuri have known each other for a long time…
“We’ve been friends for 6 years, dated for another 3, was married for 2 and…. got divorced 2 years ago.” Victor says as he drinks his beer.
“Maybe that’s the reason why you still can’t let go… You guys have known each other for such a long time.” Chris replies as he looks as his friend.
“I should be fine. I’m the one who asked for a divorce…” Victor smiles bitterly as he stares at his drink.

Compromises by Ellie_Rosie, Teen, 51k **Graphic Depictions of Violence
Their relationship was one of compromises, Yuuri thought, usually in Victor’s favour. Not that Yuuri minded - in all likelihood, he would probably set himself on fire if Victor complained about being cold. But there was one thing Yuuri point blank refused to compromise on; he would not step foot within a 100 metre radius of an ice rink. WOW!

Our Love by flippednique, Not Rated, 16k
“I want a divorce.” There was a barrage of emotions on Yuuri’s face that ranged from shock, to hurt, to disbelief, to pained, to angry, to livid before he pulled away from Viktor completely, grabbed his scarf and left the house with the door banging on his way out. The word, “Fine.” rang like a death sentence. Strangely enough, Viktor felt like he could breathe. Sooo angsty omg

We Don’t Have to Stay Buried by nagoyadelay, Teen, 6k (WIP)
Yuuri moved to Russia to be with Viktor. But everything went wrong. Two and a half years after a brutal break-up, Yuuri and Viktor have an unexpected encounter that leaves them both confused, vulnerable, and possibly… ready to try again? Have they both grown enough as people to form a lasting relationship? Or will they repeat the mistakes that doomed them the first time around? This is so so good so far!

stay by my side by paranoid_fridge, Not Rated, 3.1k
“Finally!” somebody shouts and Yuuri jumps. Russian Yuri stomps toward him, expression dark. “He’s on his third round of that.” Yuri jerks a thumb to the rink behind his back. “Make him stop before he hurts himself.” Another great happy ending fic!

This seems pretty good, except for the fact that the Vietnam War was over by 1975. In 1973 the US decided to pull out from Vietnam, POWs were released in January and the last combat troops left from the country in March *Edit* if there was any year that Logan would be in Vietnam, it would be in 1968 when shit really hit the fan for American troops

  • This week’s pre-show message from Denise: “Brian is a puppet and I’m pulling the strings.”
  • Overwatch mention! Brian shout-outs D.Va, Marisha’s all about Symmetra, Matt breaks out the McCree voice.
  • 1PM Saturday, much of CR will be playing Mansions of Madness on the stream, and Matt will be guesting on a show at 11AM as well.
  • Brian: Our special guest, Gil Ramirez. Marisha: (whispers) Don’t fuck us, Gil.
  • Gil was helping out in the twitch chat from episode one. He’s also been smithing for sixteen years!
  • Gil uses liquid mercury to balance his steel dice. Travis: …you just have liquid mercury hanging around?
  • Gil and Taliesin both have a periodic table collection.
  • Gil takes off his button-down to reveal a t-shirt that just reads “Don’t fuck me, Gil.” with “Dammit Gil!” on the back.
  • Gil pulls out cards that read “Malks Tachina” that are all sick burns on Brian.
  • 4:46:50 total gameplay time last week. VM had 936 total HP at the start of the kraken battle, ended with 70 total HP.
  • A fan points out the similarities between the kraken fight and the Kobayashi Maru in Star Trek–an unwinnable fight to see how you do under great pressure. Marisha points out that nobody is expected to do the Aramente alone, but they’re never told that explicitly, so Keyleth’s been figuring that out, and that was one of the big lessons here. When she decided to planeshift out, she had to trust that Grog was going to finish it without her. She’s been moving beyond her previous urge to be self-sacrificial.
  • Matt points out that if Keyleth had stayed, Grog probably would’ve stayed until the end, too, and things would’ve gone a lot worse.
  • Matt wasn’t playing the kraken to full intelligence (his argument being that the rules-as-written version is better suited to being a full-arc villain kind of deal), but if they’d decided to talk to it, it probably would’ve stalled long enough to get everyone exactly where it wanted them.
  • Travis on Tary not using Luck to reroll: Either he is the most genius, maniacal character in a long-running arc… or he just rolled shitty dice because Gil fucked him.
  • Keyleth would’ve rather failed the Aramente than kill the kraken or lose her party.
  • A question on screen flashes twice. Laura (who isn’t even on the show this week) immediately tweets “Two flashes!! Free Denise.”
  • Grog was trying to abide by Keyleth’s rules of not killing the thing, but his whole priority was getting Vax out, because he realized that not getting him out while he was unconscious might’ve meant losing his body for good. Matt points out that it worked out well that it was always Grog getting eaten, because he was more likely than most of the other party members to deal enough damage to get out.
  • Why didn’t the water ashari let Korren and Keyleth know Vilya was suspected dead? Matt starts to answer, then admits it’s mostly just to maintain narrative drama, because that’s how storytelling works.
  • Gil wonders whether one of the lodestones could be Keyleth’s mom. Marisha: …my mom is octopoo?
  • Grog’s decision on leaving Tary mostly boiled down to “…eh.” Grog didn’t mind too much that Percy made him go back for Tary, because he didn’t feel too strongly about leaving him behind, but there might be consequences once Friends wears off.
  • Keyleth would’ve definitely still planeshifted out if Grog and Vax’s positions had been reversed. She trusted that Vax would’ve managed to get out, too.
  • Travis’ wise words on the Raven Queen: “Didn’t she need the blood jacuzzi to get the thing going?”
  • Travis thinks Grog would be interested in participating in Vax’s ritual.
  • Travis was stoked for Vax to join the Dead Club, but he has no idea how it’s going to go because of the Raven Queen.
  • Matt re: people yelling about revivify/resurrection no matter the outcome: “I… mostly don’t care. I’m still a sensitive boy.”
  • Brian brings back the intro to the first episode, in which Matt points out that this is the continuation of a home-game and number-crunching shouldn’t be the priority. Of course, Critrolestats is an exception: “They keep track of the numbers we like.”
  • Brian: “Discussions are great, and we love talking about the show even if we disagree… but when it gets to be this weird thing where people are… it’s like, guys, you’re kind of embarrassing yourself. Like, give me a break, dad. Maybe intense scrutiny of a D&D game that’s on the internet isn’t the best way to live your life.”
  • Travis: “I’ll never go on [reddit]. It requires reading, right?”
  • Matt thinks the kraken was probably watching the party for a while, and then Tary’s natural one was a focus point. If they hadn’t failed that challenge, they might’ve had to fight it as they were escaping.
  • The one spell Marisha forgot to write down on her spell sheet was Freedom of Movement, which would’ve been incredibly clutch in the fight. Matt forgot about it, too.
  • Matt points out that everyone had an extremely stressful week leading up to that episode. Brian mentions that he’s known everyone for a while, now, and they all generally act the same on-screen as they do off-screen, so they’re not gonna be putting on an act. Sometimes you just get a bit of a slog playing D&D when everyone’s exhausted, but it can still be fun as long as people aren’t going over every decision with a magnifying glass.
  • SURPRISE ASHLEY WITH AMAZING HAT ON AFTER-DARK

After dark:

  • The first shot after the break is just a close-up of Trinket.
  • Matt to Travis, in one of the best out-of-context quotes thus far: “So what you’re saying is that your deviantart is full of vore?”
  • If Grog had an intelligence of 20 for 24 hours, he’d probably go down to Percy’s workshop and build something.
  • Matt ran a session pre-stream that was just Pike and Vax, in which the two of them had to fight a chimera. There was also one that was just Vax, Scanlan, and Pike.
  • If Grog had been left behind and died, Ashley thinks Pike would’ve pulled a Scanlan and left the party, then would’ve gone to go live under the sea until she found him, and would’ve kept his body until she got True Resurrection, “even if it took a hundred years”, so she could bring him back.
  • Matt re: Keyleth being the only one who hasn’t died: “No, there’s a reason for that. Because she’s my fiancee and I give her special treatment.” Marisha: “Don’t say that even in jest!” Matt: “No, if that were true, I wouldn’t sleep on the couch as often.” Marisha: “They’ll believe that, too! They’ll actually think that’s true!”
  • Ten or higher on that saving throw and Grog would’ve died in the kraken. Matt rolled a nine (which is why he tweeted the picture).
  • Marisha’s biggest fear re: ways for her character to die was tripping and falling in lava, which just about happened, so almost anything else would’ve been okay in comparison. Brian: “Keyleth died doing what she loved: a series of errors.” Marisha: “Failing.”
  • Travis’s Xbox gamertag is MeatyAlbatross.
okay but

when rowan finally gets to aelin, and she’s probably locked inside the coffin without any hope of ever getting out, so completely battered and broken physically but content because she knows she did everything possible to give her people, her court, her family a chance,
and then suddenly she hears some kind of inhuman roar through the iron box that muffles almost all noise, but somehow this sound is loud enough to still hurt her ears even through the box,
and screeching as someone physically rips open the box, and she can smell copious amounts of blood in the air and the entire cadre is there, summoned by Rowan for the break in a day earlier and using all of their strength to save the queen they want to serve from the one they deplore,
and they shakily lift her out of the coffin but she can’t even be grateful because Rowan’s not  t h e r e, and if he’s not with them he must be hurt and oh  g o d s what if he’s dead, and she’s starting to lose it because she can handle whippings and beatings and torture but she can’t handle her mate being gone, not having been able to save him–
and then there’s a shriek nearby and suddenly he’s there, her mate is there, in the same room as her, cut and bruised and limping but alive, and with him is Maeve, but something is different and–oh gods, her neck is broken, her mate killed the woman who has starred in every one of her nightmares for the last year, the ones that didn’t end when she woke up, when the pain from the bone deep injuries pulled her out of brief unconsciousness, her magic unable to heal so many extensive injuries, and not in an iron box, iron shavings sprinkled onto her tattered skin after her session every day before she could be returned to the coffin, Maeve is DEAD she’s finally gone, and aelin lets out the smallest sound of relief,
and then rowan is next to her, snatching her out of his brothers’ arms quickly, but so carefully, tears building up in his eyes at the sight of her in so much pain, shaking with rage at quite how much blood and muscle is visible,
and her mouth starts to move, and she wants to apologize for not telling him about the mating bond and for sacrificing herself and not telling him, but he can see it in her face and cocks his head in the way she knows means don’t you dare apologize, Fireheart and gods she has missed this effortless communication, and Rowan, everything about Rowan, her husband and consort and mate,
and they’re both grasping each other tightly to assure that they’re real, because Rowan has seen his mate’s face day in and day out in battle strategy discussions next to Aedion and in the nightmares that never seem to end, and Aelin never thought this suffering would end but he’s here, he came for her even though they both knew he shouldn’t have, and she can’t stop looking at him, at that face she loves, and then he turns to face her directly and for a moment she thinks she’s seeing double–but no, there’s that scar above his left eyebrow, so the only thing that makes sense is–
“You got a new tattoo.” her voice is quiet and hoarse, but still so unequivocally Aelin, and he wants to both laugh and sob into her because of course, of course that’s the first thing she notices, the first thing she says to him, the first thing his mate says to him after being apart for a year, so he nods and clears his throat,
“I–our story needed to be represented there too. I mentioned the idea to Fenrys the morning you–the morning after our ceremony. And then you were gone, and…” his throat felt swollen shut, but he continued speaking. “and then it seemed only right that you had a place next to Lyria’s, even though I hadn’t learned my lesson and…” he trails off, but she can read the “failed you, failed you both but here again Maeve went right by me and I failed you
“Buzzard,” she says, and she could tell him all the same with her eyes and her face but after so long of nothing escaping her mouth but screams, it feels so good to talk, “I can’t have you taking credit for my abduction when we both know I’m simply too clever of a mastermind for you to have realized what was happening. And you’re here now, and that…I could never have asked it of anyone. You came.”
“Of course I came,” he can’t stop looking at her, hands still wrapped gingerly around her emaciated frame, and if he hadn’t already rutting killed Maeve and Carn he would lose it right now at feeling her ribs poking at skin where there used to be layers of muscle. “I’m not just anyone.” his voice cracks, and he so so hates displays of emotion and mushiness but he needs her to hear it, to know. “I love you, Fireheart. You’re going to have to get used to the idea that I’m never going to let you go if we’re going to be mated for the rest of both of our fae lifespans.”
and she’s laughing and crying, because of course she is, and this arrogant, territorial male is hers for all of that time, and she wants to ask after Aedion and Lysandra and Elide and Dorian and Chaol and Nesryn and the thirteen, but she knows he wouldn’t leave them defenseless for anything, and her mate is here and he knows he’s her mate and gods is she so glad to have the ridiculous buzzard in her life.
He gets her out of the dungeon, out of the palace and she can feel him tense when they get into the sunlight and the iron in her wounds is visible, and he starts to growl but restrains himself when the sound makes her cower the tiniest bit, and he presses his lips to her temple but she can feel the wind delicately removing the tiny metal bits from her back, and her magic slowly, slowly starts to knit the skin back together, cell by cell, and then she’s in a featherbed sleeping finally because she knows there’s no way in hell he will take his eyes off of her for the next century, and a few hours later she opens her eyes because something thumps onto the deck of the ship, and she startles and clenches her fists because they must have found her, but then her door is thrown open and Lysandra is there, running to her with tremendous sobs, and she can smell the cadre in the hallway, and Chaol runs in too, but they’re both thrown out of the way by a volatile Aedion, and she knows something must be wrong because Dorian and Manon and Elide aren’t there, oh gods not Dorian, and she knows well enough that war comes with sacrifices, but it was supposed to be her, not her book loving best friend, and of her a moment they’re all crying together before Lysandra pulls a sealed envelope from her pocket, addressed to her in that regal script, and she bursts out laughing because of course he left her a note, of course he’s going to tell her he chose this, it’s so very Dorian,
and she spends days like this, crying and laughing and healing and trying not to flinch at every noise and voice, wrapped in Rowan’s arms and catching up on hundreds of hours of sleep deprivation, until one morning he’s shaking her and she groans in opposition, but he pulls her to her feet and helps her to the deck, and her breath catches because she can smell it already–pine and snow and love and happiness and oh gods, they’re finally–
“Home,” Rowan breathes in her ear. “We’re home, Fireheart.”

Hey it's the Disney anon! Yeah I meant sort of live action BATB cause I love the Bucky fic you did😊 So if it's something you'd be happy to write for can I request a reader x gaston fic where they grew up together and she is in love with him but is convinced it isn't mutual & that he deserves better so doesn't tell him. Another guy asks her out & she accepts cause she thinks she should move on if gaston will never love her. But Gaston actually gets super jealous/possessive. Hope it's ok thanks❤

A/N: asdfghjkl, I’m so glad you send me this request, I literally grinned so hard when I got it! I don’t normally post two things a day, but I literally had the easiest time writing this. This prompt gave me so much inspiration that I just typed it in one go and I’m actually quite happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it as well and if you have any other gaston x reader request please send them my way. I LOVE writing for him and the reader. (added Gaston to my fandoms list)

                                                           *****

“You’re staring again,” LeFou, who had seemingly sneaked up on you, whispered.

You blinked a few times to break the spell you were under before and turned around, wanting to convince him that, no, you weren’t staring at Gaston like a fool in love.

But the look he threw you was enough to know that it wouldn’t work on him.

“It’s not like I don’t understand. And I’m certainly not the one to judge you,” he winked at you and you had to laugh a little. “But what I don’t understand is why you don’t tell him. You’ve known each other for so long..”

“Oh LeFou. If only it were so easy. Look at him..-” he was currently chasing Belle again. “He doesn’t feel the same and I doubt he ever will. He needs a woman who cooks for him and plays the good wife. You and me both know that I’m not that kind of woman.”

“Neither is Belle! Which is why he fancies her! So what makes you different?”

“I’m a huntress, LeFou. Belle and me are completely the opposite of each other. If she’s his type then I’m most certainly not.”

“She’s beautiful. That’s why she’s his type. And do I need to remind you of your beauty?”

You sighed and turned around to face your friend, smiling a little, then hugging him.

In the meantime, Gaston gave up for today in chasing Belle and approached the two of you.

HARRY Styles escaped serious injury after almost setting his dressing room on fire at the Saturday Night Live studios.

The singer stripped off backstage when he accidentally slung his shirt on a candle and watched in horror as it went up in flames.

The panicked star dashed over to stamp out the furnace – but his sock caught fire in the process.

Revealing the terrifying ordeal, a source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Harry nearly burned the place down.

“After his performance he went back to his dressing room and ripped off his shirt and threw it in the corner of the room.

“A few minutes later his manager asked if he could smell burning – he’d thrown it onto a candle and the whole sleeve had set alight.

“He tried to stamp it out but then his sock caught on fire.

“Luckily, the whole team got involved and managed to stamp the flames out, but it was one step away from needing a fire extinguisher.”

The drama ensued after Harry made his debut performance as a solo star live on air at the NBC Studios in New York’s Rockefeller Plaza last Saturday.

After a five-minute panic, the fire was controlled and he escaped with only minor burns to his foot.

It’s not the first time Harry has nearly gone up in flames.

He scared fans when he nearly walked into a pyrotechnic on stage at a 1D gig in Chicago four years ago, but was saved by ex bandmate Zayn Malik who pulled him back just second before he set himself alight.

Harry, 23, dropped his debut single Sign Of The Times earlier this month with the track hitting the top of the UK charts.

Tonight, he will appear on The Graham Norton Show where he revealed plans to tour his new material.

On the show, Harry also faced a barrage of questions about stories which have appeared about him – and was ordered to confirm or deny by facial expression only.

The Sun’s Bizarre column told how the most talked-about star on the planet had been considered by Disney bosses to play Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars spin-off.

When asked if he’d auditioned by host Graham, Harry smiled knowingly.

Harry is set to make his acting debut this year in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming war film Dunkirk. The singer is playing a young soldier in the film, based on the Dunkirk evacuation in World War II.

(long story)

One of my first jobs out of college wasn’t really a true job. I interviewed at a proprietary trading firm and was offered a job as one of their traders. Looking back, it was naive to join such a firm and this was right before the ‘08 crash. They sold themselves as being pro traders and all you had to do was put up some capital which got added to the group’s pooled fund. After that, you went through training and once the boss thought you were ready, you would 'go live’ with your trading account. There were no paychecks, but you did get to keep most of your profits. Later on, I learned that the bosses of such groups made money by either taking a cut from your profits or by taking a fee from your traded volume. This group skimmed from both sides taking 15% from your profits and a fee from your trading volume which came out to about $1.5 every 100 shares traded.

For months, I spent time learning from the “Pros,” and then I began to realize along with some of the other newbies, that the only person making money was the boss. The turnover for new traders was high. Some people lasted a month, others a year or two. As I got to know people around the office, I began finding out that very few made any money at all. The boss was a micromanager and watched the risk monitor for his group like a hawk. If you hit -$50 in a day, you were locked out and couldn’t trade anymore throughout the day. Also, you were limited to trading stocks up to $40 per share with a max size of 200 shares. It was very difficult to make a living trading like this.

12x12 Coda: All of You

Read on ao3

They misunderstood his meaning once again.

The Winchesters had a habit of doing that.

It’s not that they were wrong. Because he had finally accepted that, while they were not his kin, they were his family.

For whom he had - for whom he would - for whom he will always lay down his life.

Because in forty five sunrises and sunsets void of Sam and Dean, it became clear to Castiel that nothing in his world mattered as much as the Winchesters.

But that declaration - it didn’t belong to them. It belonged to him.

To Dean.

All those times Castiel had thrown himself in harm’s way, all those times he’d faced Death for no reason other than to buy the Righteous Man a few precious seconds - in his whole time spent alongside the two hunters, he’d never really admitted to his motives.

Never ventured to say the three words with which Dean’s kind were so enamored. The sentiment - it was difficult for the angel to make sense of. In some eight and a half years, Castiel had never named the profound bond for what it was.

But this time, through gritted teeth and lacerated lips, as excruciating pain gnawed at his gut, as he felt the life leak right out of him, this time, Castiel found the strength to own the elusive phrase.

I love you.

Maybe it’s the last vestige of his angelic nature.

Maybe it’s the clarity that comes with being so close to death.

Maybe it’s nothing more than the connection between two souls focused solely on the other.

But in the wake of those words, Castiel can see - hear - feel every thought passing through Dean Winchester’s mind.

An exercise in doubting it could possibly be true.

Because Dean surveys through all the reasons he’s sure he must be unlovable.

Every bottle of whiskey in which he’d drowned his sorrows - every broken chair he’d made a victim of his rage.

Every lie he’d ever told - every promise he’d ever broken.

Every time he’d dared to look into the mirror and couldn’t stomach the man he’d seen looking back at him.

The face of every person he’s gotten killed.

Every monster he hasn’t managed to slay. Every mistake he’s made.

Because the words have barely made their way out of Castiel’s punctured lungs when Dean’s giving him every but he can come up with.

It is only a few seconds but it is not a short list. He’s had years of practice convincing himself he’s broken beyond repair.

And so with what he believes could be his last breath, Castiel offers a clarification.

I love all of you.

All of you, Dean.

Every single shard I stitched back together after I pulled you from the depths of Hell.

Every aspect of your being.

Every precious part.

All of you.

Dean had a habit of misunderstanding Castiel.

But in that moment, in the small glance the two share, his meaning - its abundant and profound truth - is clear.

raspberry--raindrops  asked:

How would Ignis react if he got corrective eye surgery so he could see again and he sees his s/o for the first time?

I had originally planned to write a whole one-shot for this and everything, but this has been sitting in my inbox for a good while… so I’m writing it now.

  • When Iggy’s s/o told him that the team working on the reconstruction of the Citadel had found a way to bring back his eyesight, he was in disbelief.
  • “This… this isn’t a dream, or some joke, right?”
  • Of course not. His s/o wouldn’t joke about something like that.
  • Ignis is in absolute shock. It’s been fifteen years since he last saw something – last saw anything. He’s extremely excited but, undeniably, he’s scared. He doesn’t know why, but the matter still stands.
  • When he recovers from the shock, he reaches out to his s/o, pulls them close, tucks his head into the crook of their neck, and cries. His s/o gets really nervous, because did they do something wrong? But then they hear him. He’s thanking them over and over and over again.
  • After the operation, Ignis realizes why he was scared. What if it doesn’t work? What if his eyes were too damaged and they couldn’t do it? What if the world is simply too bright for his eyes to handle and he has to keep them closed, and thus remain blind anyways?
  • He doesn’t open his eyes immediately when he wakes up. He finds the call button, summons a nurse, and asks for his s/o. He wants the first thing he sees to be them.
  • There’s a shuffling in the room and Ignis recognizes the steps to be his s/o’s. He reaches out to them, and he doesn’t realize that he’s shaking until his s/o takes his hands.
  • His s/o kisses his hands, then his forehead, then his scars, and then his lips. They tell him that the lights aren’t on, there’s just candles, and that he can open his eyes. They’re right here for him, just like they always have been. They squeeze his hands tightly.
  • Ignis opens his eyes. He has to squint, because even the candlelight is still too bright for his newly recovered eyes, but he blinks once, twice.
  • He locks eyes with his s/o. He sees them smile. He sees the sheen of their hair. He sees the tears in their eyes. He feels tears coming to his own. He can see.
  • “(Y/N),” He mutters, and his voice is shaking, “You’re beautiful. You’re absolutely beautiful.”
  • He reaches up, he touches their face, and finally, he’s able to match a precise image to everything he’s been feeling since he met his s/o. He’s just gotten the use of his eyes back, but he’s already mastered the look of absolute adoration for his s/o.
  • He kisses them, and at some point during that he starts crying again, and his s/o’s there to hold him, and they’re crying too. They’re both so happy.
  • It takes Ignis some time to rehabilitate from the operation. His eyes are still extremely sensitive to light, so he wears darkened lenses for an extended period of time while his eyes adjust. There’s frequent headaches, since his brain tends to get overwhelmed by all the detail it’s suddenly registering again.
  • Though the recovery process is a bit harrowing at times, Ignis couldn’t be happier. He treasures the sight of everything now more than ever, all the colors around him, all the lights, the sunrise (which is just how he remembers it), everything…
  • But his favorite sight is his s/o.
