Une Cité Moderne, part 1

In 1922 French architect Rob Mallet-Stevens published a portfolio of 32 stunning modernist designs for the constituent buildings of the city of today. The black and white line drawings are stenciled with striking colours. Here are the first four, a cinema, bank, museum and club.

i’m screaming one of my followers recently attended a comic con and went up to the some dc writers and asked on my behalf if someone who’s big in the comics fandom and knows the characters well could ever possibly write for dc comics and they obviously told her you can’t just work for a big company like that, you have to have a portfolio/be published/go through the annual DC workshop if you want to have a chance, and then she goes

“what if said someone would fight each and every one of you in this table if you screwed up their favorite characters”

like… she literally tried to set up a fight between me and DC? as if it’s middle school and i’d fight them after classes behind the cafeteria or something??

Guerrilla Girls

This is one of thirty posters published in a portfolio entitled Guerrilla Girls Talk Back by the group of anonymous American female artists who call themselves the Guerrilla Girls. 

Since their inception in 1984 the Guerrilla Girls have been working to expose sexual and racial discrimination in the art world, particularly in New York, and in the wider cultural arena.



So this is blowing up all over the internet and on the morning shows.  A little video I directed for Swimsuits For All on our most recent shoot down in Turks and Caicos, with the help of DP, Michael Cogliantry…
