By the dark night sky, the tall mountains and the depths of the seas, He indeed sees everything, for He is Al Basīr. Nothing that happens in this dunya can be done without His Knowledge. Subhan'Allāh!
As mentioned in the Qur'ān;
“Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing! They have not besides Him any protector, and He shares not His legislation with anyone.” 18:26
How beautiful it is to know that He sees and hears everything and that no one besides Him can be the protector! :’)
O Slave of Allāh! Know that He sees everything in this dunya, even a little hint of showing off or doubt He is knowledgable of it.
“Hide your good deed like you hide your evil deed, and do not be amazed with your own action, for you do not know whether you are happy or wretched (in the Hereafter)” [Al-Bayhaqī]
Indeed, it is good to do what is we was ordained to us (enjoining the good & forbidding what is evil), in our seeking to please Allāh, but also it is most significant for us that we mind our private worship to Allāh the most than our public worship. We all should be reminded of the punishments of riyā. Au'thubillāh.
I urge everyone to do good deeds for indeed this is one of the best traits of Muhammad ﷺ and his Sahābah (RA) but then again i remind you to be careful and always recheck your intentions before doing a thing, do it by firstly mentioning His Glorious Name.
Only Allāh knows what you have in your heart, this is but a reminder to all of us, as in the Qur'ān it is mentioned;
“Do [as you will], for Allāh will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.” 9:105
So be mindful of every deed you do, for truly we are to be informed about it on that Promised Day
“And Allāh will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.” 9:94
The true you is defined when you are alone in worshipping Allāh, for there it will be seen, whether the sincerity is purely for His pleasure or is it purely for worldly gains. Remember you will be questioned, remember you will be reckoned, remember your limbs will be caused to speak, and your scroll of deeds will define and justify you on that Day.
Be true to yourself, don’t be ashamed of repenting to Allāh nor asking for His forgiveness. Your Lord is Oft Forgiving, All Forgiving, Al Ghafoor Al Ghaffar.
and we pray that Allāh helps us to purify all our intentions in line of doing deeds to please Him, solely. in sha Allāh. Amīn.
