Homely Pub by Tony

The pub I spent each night in. With a range of fine draft beers it took three nights to sample all elleven taps.

The languages presented in these logos are a bit trickier than the previous post - can you guess them? (Do you think you can contribute to them?)

And, Consulting Detectives In Training: can you deduce which locations we HAVEN’T shown?

Pack your bags and don’t forget the catnip, plush mice, unicorn horns, and laser pointers because the next Geyser of Awesome Field Trip is all about cats. We’re going to a pub called the Bag o’ Nails, located in the city of Bristol in South West England. We’ve seen cat cafes and owl cafes, but this pub is a cat pub!

The Bag o’ Nails “…we once had 24 but that was too much.” He says all of the pub’s cats were born right there in bar. One kitty even came into the world rather auspiciously by being born in a potato chip box on a quiz night.

Daniels told the Bristol Post that most people are very fond of the cat-filled pub:

“The reaction is mostly positive. Occasionally you might have some people walking in and leaving and some might be allergic to cats but people love it. Some of them come and sit on your lap.”

Head over to the Bristol Post and the Bag o’ Nails Facebook page for more photos and info about this awesome establishment.
