and even though that gatekeeper i had in my inbox on my old blog (this one)
doesn’t really faze me that much, what does worry me is what if this anon is involved in a years-old community that took me as an example of one of “those tu/mbl/rk/in” and had a good laugh with their friends about how cri/ng/ey i am and how i’m an example of what k/in isn’t and that i’m deluding myself and “missing the point” of what oth/er/k/in truly is
it’s just really disheartening that ppl think all k/in on tum./blr follow this “stereotype” now that all of the k/in before tu/mb/lr can laugh at and distance themselves from as “fake k/in,” when i’ve known i have been other for a REALLY long time but just didn’t have a word to describe it, as certainly is the case with a lot of other people who found the concept of k/in through tu/mb/lr
this is why i hate gatekeeping so much and condemn it Literally every chance i can get
Alright, after seeing this yet again, I am propelled to make this post
KANKRI IS NOT AGAINST FEMINISM. HE IS NOT ALL “LET’S NOT DEFEND WOMEN BUT MAINLY DEFEND MEN BECAUSE MEN ARE SUPERIOR”
In their society, women obviously have more power. THEY HAVE A FUCKING EMPRESS FOR FUCK’S SAKE! Kankri defends men and tells Porrim that women’s rights DON’T MATTER because WOMEN HAVE MORE RIGHTS THAN MEN. Women, it seems, are seen as STRONGER or BETTER. So when Porrim starts talking about how repressed she is and women are, Kankri ignores it because IT’S PRETTY MUCH A GUY TALKING ABOUT MEN’S RIGHTS IN OUR SOCIETY

Finished sanding and patching any cracks in the veneer on my day off work. I also got two coats of filler primer on the baffles and and rear terminal mounts.
If I’ve learned anything from this project so far it’s that I am definitely going to stick with paper backed veneer next time and that I’m undecided if all the hassle of raw veneer is worth the grain pattern.
