I think people with either prominent Virgo or Capricorn energy have this way of responding to conflict that is cunning but reserved, where you can see it in their eyes but they don’t outwardly reveal anger that often. They remain graceful, civilised, but are meticulous in their responses, picking up on details about their opponent that even their opponent may not consciously know about themselves. They are a quiet force to be reckoned with.

I’ve noticed that with some people with prominent Virgo or Capricorn energies, there can this feeling even from a very young age of resentment towards their parents or guardians, like they are patronising them in a way. Especially when these signs are placed in the Moon.

There is an innate maturity, practicality, method and sense to these signs, so when it feels like someone is spoon feeding them information about the world, naturally, this can make them feel lesser than they actually are.

Lunar Capricorns in particular are born with such wise, old souls that sometimes, it seems the adult should listen in awe of the infant.

Earth- A Life in Realistic High Definition

Earthy people (Those with prominent Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo energy) may find themselves unable to look through rose tinted glasses, and may find themselves accused of pessimism at times. Usually however, this is realism over pessimism, where there is no shielding from the truths and practicalities of the world. “Harsh reality” could be a way to describe this life view perhaps, whereby the logic associated with earth can lead these types to saddening, yet logical conclusions about the world they live in. Life can be uncompromising and as real as the blood that runs through our veins.

Happy Birthday!

Otis Redding (September 9, 1941 - December 10, 1967): One of the most influential soul singers of the 1960s, Otis Redding exemplified to many listeners the power of Southern “deep soul” – hoarse, gritty vocals, brassy arrangements, and an emotional way with both party tunes and aching ballads. He was also the most consistent exponent of the Stax sound, cutting his records at the Memphis label/studios that did much to update R&B into modern soul. His death at the age of 26 was tragic not just because he seemed on the verge of breaking through to a wide pop audience (which he would indeed do with his posthumous number one single “[Sittin’ On] The Dock of the Bay”). It was also unfortunate because, as “Dock of the Bay” demonstrated, he was also at a point of artistic breakthrough in terms of the expression and sophistication of his songwriting and singing.
