project community

Booyah! Finished it on time!

This picture is my part for the “Thanks to Yoshida” project that the FFXIV community is doing for the director & producer of the MMO, Naoki Yoshida. That man - along with his team - has worked super hard to make FFXIV one of the best MMOs around. He deserves some praise for a job well done.
The characters from left to right are: Naoki Yoshida as samurai, Lady in Red (won’t say her name due to possible spoilers lol), Yugiri, Ren (my character), and Ser Aymeric de Borel. They are all moving forward to Stormblood - the upcoming expansion for FFXIV!

Fact: Originally, this picture was going to have up to 11 characters, but I decided to cut it down to just five because since my picture will be put into a book along with other fanart and messages from the fans, I had to make the image small enough to hopefully fit the page XD.

Lady in Red, Yugiri, and Ser Aymeric de Borel belong to Square Enix. Naoki Yoshida belongs to himself lol

I created this image, but the diagram resembles ones I’ve seen in the works of Gede Parma and Christopher Penczak (credit where credit is due!) and neatly describes one approach to the loose architecture of reality as experienced by a journeying witch or hedgerider. While your mileage may vary, and you might see reality as completely different in structure, I have found this map, a vesica pisces, to be useful in categorizing other worlds and also parts of myself.

Calling all Fire Emblem fans!

Whether you are artists, sprite editors, writers, or just casual fans, we have a project for you.

Introducing fe-communitydesign!

Run by @exaltedgrimleal and @lightningbug-lane, each month, we will be giving you a prompt. Based on the prompt of that month, we invite each of you to draw/edit/write something related to the theme.

Themes can vary from vague words to styles to stories to characters, almost anything you can imagine!

Given the fact that February is a short month, we have decided to start a little early and give you the theme now. The theme for February(and the end of January) is: Valentines/Hearts!

If you decide to participate, make a post or submit it to the blog. We’ll be following the tag #FECommunityDesign so we’ll be hoping to see your results.

Will you design something for this theme? We’d love to see it. Hope you are able to participate, and if you do, hope you have a lot of fun!

In honor of @itgetsbetterproject’s work to help the LGBT+ community worldwide, I put together a collection of encouragements here. Thank you so much to the It gets better Project!

If you choose to reblog this; I’d appreciate if you’d include an encouraging comment. Thank you and I hope you have a great day!

The Domestic Garden Witch: Playtime for Witchlings!

So maybe you’re a college witch with limited space and money, limited to the one window in your dorm. Or, maybe you’re a witch without extensive backyard space who wants to start up a magical garden. Perhaps you’re a kitchen witch who wants the freshest herbs right at her fingertips.

For many witches, having a garden seems to be a bit of a no-brainer. After all, plants and magic go hand-in-hand. Plus, when thinking of a witch, it’s hard not to think of a cottage in the woods with a little vegetable garden out front. Unfortunately for the majority of us, our cottage in the woods is a tiny flat, and our garden out front is a windowsill with limited space.

This is when it comes time to embrace your craftiness and bring your garden indoors! Not only does it place your garden in a convenient location, it also allows you to freshen the air, recycle what would otherwise harm the earth, and embrace your witchy green thumb!

Garden Witchcraft for Families

While not all of us have children, those of us who do certainly enjoy bringing a bit of happiness and engagement into their life! And for some, witchcraft can be a point of bonding for parent and child. As in any activity, we want our children to learn, and creating this tub garden teaches about responsibility in growing plants, as well as keeping their imaginations active, and if part of a witchy family, can teach them how to have a bit of a witchy green thumb, as well!

This project is fairly simple, requiring only a decently large tub, gravel, a drill, a few plants, soil, and a bit of mulch and water.

Start by drilling a few drainage holes into the bottom of the tub, then add a layer of gravel to help promote drainage. Then, fill the tub with a decent layer of soil and add your plants! Water, then add a layer of mulch, as well as any decorations you might want!

It’s best not to place too many plants, as the idea behind this garden is to give kids the option of playing with toys inside of the tub - their own fantasy forest or jungle that they have access to.

How Can I Witch This?

The possibilities are near endless, but the greatest witchy benefit here is sharing it with children. Use the tub to help teach them about different herbs and what they can be used for! If they help make the garden, guide them in creating a sigil or symbol for health, prosperity, and growth for the plants. Decorations are just as varied, but if you want to go with a faerie garden, crystals are ideal! Teach about what the different crystals mean, and urge the kiddo to create his own crystal grids in the garden!

But the greatest magic of all in this project, I feel, is allowing a child to know that it’s good to embrace his or her imagination. Encourage that creativity, and take joy in the pleasure they gain from playing in their own homemade garden!

Blessed Be! )O(

Tarot deck in progress...

You guys.

I’ve started the minors on my tarot for beginners.

Feedback? Still trying to come up with a name. I’ve been rolling around the idea of Witchling Tarot, but is that too presumtuous? Maybe Apprentice Tarot? Suggestions?

Animate a Grump is a non-profit community project - inspired by Project Drakkhen - which aims to work with multiple animators from the GG Community to animate a full episode of Game Grumps from the Dan Era.

We hope to work together with the lovelies to help pick an episode and eventually to help animate the project ! This project will eventually be uploaded to a channel specifically created for this project !

* How does this project work?

This project will follow a few steps - the first being to open suggestions from the lovelies on which episode they think deserves to be fully animated. We will watch every suggestion and run a poll with the episodes we feel have the most potential and it will be up to you to vote on which you feel should win !

Once the episode has been chosen we will break it down into parts, and will open applications to animators from the community.

More info about later steps will be posted once the ones above have been fullfilled, but rest assured we will keep the community posted !

* How do I suggest an episode to you guys?

It’s easy ! Once you’ve decided on an episode you like, send it to us at with your name / username that we can use in the credit segment at the end of the video ! You have until November 13th to send us an episode, after which we will not be accepting anymore suggestions.

* I’m not sure about something, where can I contact you?

You can contact us here on Tumblr, by mail or you can also contact the project organizers on twitter @Ludolik - @Ballbots

My sister gave me her Kikki K, so I decided to revamp it a little. I am so excited to start using this as my school planner! Any other Kikki K lovers out there?

Travelling Book Project: The Handmaid’s Tale

I’m very excited to be running my first Travelling Book Project, with The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood.

Here is the copy we will be using!

What is a travelling book project? A ‘travelling book project’ is when a group of people get together to read one copy of a book. The book is sent from reader to reader, and participants are encouraged to annotate, highlight and write in the margin any and all comments.

About the Book:

Written in 1985 by acclaimed Canadian author Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale is a dystopian fiction novel set in a totalitarian theocratic United States. It focuses on themes of gender subjugation, inequality, and segregation.

To those new to the spiritual community

Tumblr can be a dangerous place if you’re not careful. Here are some lessons I learned the hard way:
- If someone gives you a reading that just doesn’t resonate with you, it’s probably not accurate. Trust your gut.
- Think critically. Spirit work can be very exciting and enthralling, especially when you first start out, but remember that the people you’re speaking with are just people like you. People can be wrong in their readings and their opinions.
- If you’re struggling or unsure, get a second opinion. Get a third opinion. You can never have enough opinions.
- Do your own readings, while always maintaining a critical mindset. Always hold your own experiences over someone else’s word.
- Never hold one tumblr user/friend up as the ultimate authority on everything spiritual. That’s a very dangerous mindset
- I know I said this before, but trust your gut and intuition above all else.

If you think you’re being spiritually manipulated, please come to me for advice! I’ll be happy to help

How to Lucid Dream for Magickal Purposes

Lucid dreaming can be used for divination, astral projection, and communicating with the spirit world. I am a Lucid dreamer, and after learning about the link between lucid dreaming and hag syndrome (a terrible thing I am plagued by) I did a lot of research about it. I found some scientifically backed ways to learn to lucid dream.

1.) Every morning, take a few minutes to reflect on what you dreampt. Most people remember dreams immediately after waking up, and then forget them shortly after. If you don’t normally remember dreams, taking a few minutes just after waking up to think about them can help you develop the ability to remember your dreams! Write down details, do your best to remember everything you can. The more often you take time in the morning to try and remember dreams, the more naturally it will come to you. This is also useful for dream interpretation!
2.) As you fall asleep each night, try to focus on what you would like to dream about. Don’t start out trying to do anything magical with your dreams, just tell yourself a story you’d like to act out. Imagine yourself flying, on an adventure, on a date. Completely immerse yourself in the fantasy as you fall asleep. Think of the details, focus on your senses. What do you hear? How does the grass feel under your feet? What do you see? This is also helpful for people who suffer from anxiety and toss and turn all night thinking about past or future stresses. Instead of pouring over the conversation you had 3 years ago, you can imagine you’re flying on the back of a dragon. This is another thing that gets easier the more you do it. The first few times you may find your mind wandering to other things, or just feel awkward. Keep trying!
3.) After a while of trying steps one and two, you will find yourself dreaming closer to what you imagine at night and remembering it more vividly in the morning. The next step is the one that is the hardest to start, and usually ends up being like switch flipping: taking control from within the dream. While dreaming, try to alter small details. This will take time, don’t be discouraged! You can get there. Eventually, you will be lucid dreaming with the best of them, and can utilize this skill for different types of magic.

Lucid dreaming is scientifically linked to sleep paralysis, or hag syndrome. It has to do with REM sleep. If you don’t know what it is, it is when you lay awake, eyes open, completely paralyzed with the sense that there is something horrible in your peripheral vision (yes, you hallucinate) attempting to harm you. They used to believe that hag syndrome was when a demon or an evil spirit attacks or possesses you. If you believe lucid dreaming helps you navigate the spirit world, i suppose that makes sense. I experience it a lot, and it is terrible. It would feel immoral to post about lucid dreaming without including a warning about the increased likelihood of hag syndrom.

“Thank you for…”

@markiplier, @therealjacksepticeye, and @crankgameplays.

Being in this community has brought a lot of joy, laughter, friends, and love into my life. I was inspired to redraw a picture I done way back in 2015 to show our thanks to Ethan, Mark, and Jack. They have given us so much and I felt like we needed to give something back. I posted awhile ago for community members to send a “Thank you for…” message, to see all the messages i almost cried. I am so thankful for everyone who participated an made this possible. This was my first community project and I am happy with how it all turned out and I hope everyone who participated or have seen the process are happy with how it turned out.

If the guys see this, I want to let them know something:

Okay, guys, listen up! Unless you’re Jacksepticeye, in which case look away now :P

Jack has made my life so much better and got me through so much, so I wanna give something back for his birthday. What a better way than to do a little project with the community!

I’m gonna just keep it simple!

All I need from you is this:

“Jack has changed my life because _____ [insert your reason here]”

And that’s it!

But here’s the exciting part! :D

If you want to add anything extra with this, such as a piece of fanart or a very short video of you saying your reason, or saying thank you - and of course, happy birthday! You could also submit a favourite picture of Jack, or a selfie of you (with Sam, in JSE merch, doing the boss pose, etc)! Just throwing some ideas out there :P

But these things are optional! Although they would be awesome :)

Then what I will do is I will take all your submissions and make them into a video! :D

To submit whatever it is you want, you can:

- Send your message in an ask or message me directly

- Message me if you want to send me videos, and I will give you my email address to send them to

- Send any photos/fanart by messaging me

If you have any other ideas, don’t be afraid to ask me and I can tell you what I think! I’m open to your ideas :) I can’t accept everything, as I will be balancing this along side my uni/college work, but most likely I will be okay with whatever you suggest!

I’m so excited!! I hope you guys want to get involved and bring some happiness to Jack on his birthday and begin to give back what he’s done for us!

I know I’m not the only one doing a birthday project, but I just had to do something special! I’m certainly not trying to outshine anyone else’s projects at all. Hope you guys want to be a part of this! ^-^

Love you guys! <3

p.s if you want to be anonymous in the video, either message me anonymously or just tell me and I won’t include your name/url :)
