progressive socialist party

Trevor Hill is the gay socialist revolutionary we need right now.

Standing up to defend the only place we have as a home will depend on us by voting out corrupt politicians who represents the greedy class. All corrupt politicians need to be voted out. Regardless if it’s Republicans or Democrats.

Will it take an environmental disaster or a tragedy to vote out corrupt politicians? It seems that we’re heading in the direction to wake people up in which its no longer worth voting for the same corrupt parties who are going make our problems a lot worse. By the time all corrupt politicians are voted out of office then it maybe too late.

It’s up to us to avoid environmental catastrophe.

Seeing red: Membership triples for the Democratic Socialists of America
The nation's largest socialist organization has seen a surge in membership since the election of Donald Trump.
By Matt Pearce

Holding red and white signs, they protested outside Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s election party on Tuesday, demanding the city take a tougher stand against deportation.

The next day, they rallied in support of the International Women’s Day strike, demanding social and economic equality for women.

These weren’t liberals. They were card-carrying members of the Democratic Socialists of America, one of the fastest growing groups on the American left.

The surge of activism sweeping the U.S. since Donald Trump’s election has energized the nation’s largest socialist organization, which has tripled in size over the last year to claim more than 19,000 dues-paying members. That’s a record for the DSA, which was founded in 1982.

“People really felt that they had to do something to combat the incoming Trump administration,” said David Duhalde, the deputy director of the Democratic Socialists of America’s national leadership, which helps coordinate chapters spread across 40 states. “We’re not only somebody you can resist Trump with, we’re somebody you can build a better world with.”

There’s no doubt that the grassroots group forms only a small part of America’s swelling ranks of activists. The American Civil Liberties Union amassed hundreds of thousands of new members after Trump’s victory. The fast-growing and liberal-centric “Indivisible” movement claims 4,500 associated groups compared with the 121 chapters of the Democratic Socialists of America. As far as political parties go, California alone boasts 8.7 million registered Democrats.

But unabashed socialism hasn’t had this big of a voice in American politics in decades, and many leftists say they feel energized. New members of the Democratic Socialists of America say they want build a grassroots movement engaged at the local level — and either pull the Democratic Party leftward or shove it out of the way.

That’s why, on election night, as Garcetti won one of the most commanding mayoral victories in Los Angeles history, dozens of socialists protested outside his election party. A few of the group’s provocateurs infiltrated the well-dressed crowd of Democrats inside, where they shouted against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement: “I.C.E. out of L.A.!”

“If you’re gonna do it, have some fun,” said Josh Androsky, a 30-year-old stand-up comedian who co-chairs the Los Angeles chapter’s “agit-prop” committee and who joined after Trump’s election. “A large portion of our members were radicalized by the election and the Democrats failing over and over again.”

Either we hold government accountable starting with corrupt politicians who are beholden to sugar daddies or we end up with government failure.

Trump And The GOP Have Failed – So Why Aren’t The Democrats Capitalizing Off This?

Democratic politicians are looking really stupid right now when all they want to do is exploit the failures of Trump and the GOP for fundraising but don’t offer their own solutions or alternatives. This another reason why the Democratic Party is sinking for playing supporters like suckers.

We’re not suckers.

Good Question: Trump Have A Deep State Of His Own?

It seems that the Democratic Party is no different than the Republican Party when they’re “quietly” reversing a restriction banned on campaign contributions from both lobbyist and political action committes. The only explanation would be Debbie Wasserman Schultz wants to insure that Hillary Clinton wins by rigging the process while keeping up with Bernie’s people funded campaign.

This is why it’s important to vote to make sure Hillary Clinton doesn’t get the Democratic nomination.

On why voting third party is a terrible, bad, no-good idea

just in case the americans who want to vote for a third party candidate need an example to look at: a few years ago during a federal election, the canadian left split their vote between the liberal party (your run-of-the-mill moderate leftist party, like hillary clinton), and the new democratic party (less popular progressive socialist party, like bernie sanders) because the leader and the platform of the current liberal party kind of sucked (once again, like hillary clinton) so even though we knew they would never win, many of us voted ndp.

as a result, the majority of votes went to the conservative party (like republicans) and we ended up with stephen harper for 10 horrible years, whose conservative government implemented a truck load of terrible policies such as:

  • closing offices dedicated to furthering the status of women, and voting against an anti-wage gap bill
  • making gun control more relaxed
  • encouraging canadians to spy on their neighbours and report them to the government for “suspicious behaviour” (aka terrorist activity aka getting your muslim neighbours arrested on terrorist charges because you don’t like them)
  • allowing “preventative arrest” at airports (aka arresting muslims who look a little suspicious, as above)
  • ignoring the massive amount of missing and murdered indigenous women
  • among many other truly awful things

in the last election, canadians finally had enough and the left coordinated a massive strategic vote to ensure that stephen harper was kicked out and the liberal party got a majority government. and you know what our reward was for uniting the left and actually voting smart? this guy as our prime minister:

and in case you haven’t made the connection yet, the stephen harper example is exactly what’s going to happen to the united states if too many of you throw away your vote on a third party candidate. for 4, or possibly even 8 years, the rights of women, lgbt people, poc, immigrants, poor people, and everyone who isn’t a straight cis able-bodied upper class white man are going to regress so far it will be like you’re back in the dark ages.

if you unite your vote behind hillary clinton, you may not end up with a president as awesome as justin trudeau or bernie sanders, but at least you’ll have a president who hasn’t promised to build a fucking wall between the us and mexico.

so to sum up the point of this post:
