Candy Wrappers(P.6)

Title: Candy Wrappers(P.6)
Pairing: Isaac Lahey x Reader
Warnings: fluffy moments.
Summary: Her candy wrappers are a consistent distraction in his life.
A/N: This begins a bit before Isaac is turned when he’s basically a blended in background character that no one knew about.

“Are you really packing two guns and a knife?” Isaac raised a brow when I got out of his car and started assembling the weapons to shove them in the holsters on my legs.

“I don’t trust large predatory animals in the dark.” I said quietly, shoving the knife into it’s case near my ankle. “Do you want one? I have an extra.”

He grinned, shaking his head. “I’ll pass. I’m not nearly as concerned about being attacked as you must be.”

The boy shoved his hands in his pocket and waited for me to zip up my sweater before tilting his head to the side. “Are you ready?”

“As ready as I’ll ever be. Are you sure you want to do this?” I asked for the fifth time, my eyes casting up to the sky, the sun was still up, but I knew the moon was going to be full tonight, the whole idea put me on edge. My mom and my uncle would murder me if they knew I was out here.

His eyes caught mine, a curious gleam in them. He wondered what I was so afraid of, a part of him certainly didn’t believe it was simply because of bears, cougars and wolves. He didn’t press the issue though. “Come on, we’re gonna get the best grade in class if we get a decent shot of them. Heck, with all these murders going on, the cops might even thank us if we get proof of wolves in Beacon Hills.”

I frowned. They sure would like proof of the large animals they thought were killing people. That wouldn’t be the picture we got, in fact, they might just get pictures of their next murder if we weren’t careful. “Alright, alright. Let’s do this.”

I mustered up a good enough smile to brush off his concern before hiking forward to make my way into the woods. I’d just have to make sure that my aim was good and that no matter who was on the other end of the barrel, I pulled the trigger.

We hiked down the trail for about an hour quietly, a part of me knew there was something Isaac wanted to mention, but he kept ignoring it. I unwrapped another piece of candy, shoving the paper into my pocket along with the others. “Is it about the kiss?”

He froze mid-stride, glancing over his shoulder at me. I grinned, popping the candy into my mouth.

“You obviously want to say something, I can feel the awkward, unsaid conversation in the air as if it was a thick fog in this damned forest.” I watched as he slowly turned around, leaning up against a tree. “So what’s it about? You can take it back if you want.”

His brows shot up. “I don’t want to take it back.” I watched him furrow his brows, angry that he said that so quickly. Eventually, he sighed. “I don’t. I wanted to kiss you, otherwise I wouldn’t have done it.”

Isaac paused, his eyes on the ground. “I don’t do things without reason, Y/N, but…I have to focus on school. Nothing else. If I don’t my d–”

He shut up, eyes darting from mine to the ground once again. I stepped forward, setting a hand on his cheek. “I get it. I don’t want to distract you.”

I grinned and moved back to unwrap another piece of candy. “Let’s find those wolves.”

Isaac kept his eyes on me, watching as I popped the piece of candy into my mouth. “I like the distraction.” He smirked softly. “It’s getting dark, where do you want to look?”

I glanced around, we were pretty close to the Hale mansion, if we went west, we’d no doubt come across him or someone else, but if I got us further away, the chances of us running into them would probably be a little less likely. “Let’s go east, maybe they’re down by the river.”

He nodded. “Good idea.” I walked past him, stopping when his hand shot out, grabbing my wrist. “Some day things are gonna change for me. Okay?”

I smiled. “I know they will.”

Isaac let my hand go and started walking with me. Once we were down by the river, I realized what a bad idea it was to head this way. “Of course he would be out.” I whispered, trying to keep my voice down so Isaac wouldn’t hear me.

I glanced to the side, watching as he pulled out his camera, looking down at the ground to try and find a few tracks. “It looks like something was over here, I think you were right.” He said, glancing up from his camera with a grin.

The smile I gave wasn’t entirely one of excitement, I looked around, my hand gripping lightly at the gun on my hip. I could feel something watching us. I took a few steps back to make sure that I stayed next to Isaac. A part of me was pretending it was so I could keep him safe, but I knew that it was because being next to him made me feel safer.

“What do you suppose that is?” Isaac asked, tapping at my shoulder before pointing up the hill. My eyes stared straight into the two glowing red orbs that were watching us from the bushes and my heart sank.

“Nothing good.” I swallowed, taking Isaac’s hand in mine. “We should go.”

“Right.” Isaac replied, but he slid his grip away from me and pulled the camera up to his face. I heard the growl and the twigs snapping right after the flash went off.

Isaac grabbed onto me, rushing me up the edge of the riverbank, I barely heard him as he told me to run. I turned around, grabbing the gun from my hip and pulling it up, I didn’t hesitate, but I didn’t take aim the way I was trained, instead I squeezed my eyes shut and pulled the trigger. I knew I wouldn’t hit Isaac since he was behind me. I was hoping that even if I didn’t hit the creature, I’d at least scare him.

I heard a groan a few minutes later. “Holy shit.” Isaac said, moving in front of me as I opened my eyes.

“Scott?!” I yelped, shoving my gun into the holster. Isaac was helping him to his feet just as Stiles came rushing through the trees.

“What the–” He instantly went at Isaac. “Did you shoot him?!”

“What?” Isaac glared at Stiles, letting the boy grab Scott from his grip to look at the wound. “Why would I shoot him and then help him up you idiot?”

Stiles opened his mouth to retaliate, but shut it when he saw me standing wide eyed behind Isaac. “Y/N?”

“I-I shot him! Oh my god, Stiles…” I covered my mouth, trying to hold back a sob. “Oh god. Scott, I am so sorry…We have to get you to the hospital…”

“N-No…” Scott groaned. “You guys just get out of here, Stiles will take me.”

Isaac seemed more then okay with that idea. “Good, take care of him Stiles. We’ll be on our way.”

“What!?” I shook my head. “N-No, I have to tell them I shot you.”

Isaac shook his head this time, pulling me towards him. “No way. It was an accident!”

Scott coughed lightly, holding the wound on his arm. “It’s fine, Y/N. Just go with Isaac.”

Stiles was glaring at Isaac coldly. “What were you guys doing out here anyways?”

“We were trying to do our English project.”

“In the dark? In the middle of the woods?” Stiles wasn’t buying an ounce of it.

Isaac rolled his eyes. “Yes! We were trying to research wolves.”

Both of them froze and cleared their throats. “There aren’t wolves around here.”

I raised a brow, gauging their reactions and the fact that Scott wasn’t that effected by the gunshot wound. I suddenly knew why. I swallowed lightly. “So…why were you two out here?”

Scott and Stiles looked at each other slowly. “We were uh…trying to get some exercise.”

Stiles nodded. “Yeah. For Lacrosse, you know. There’s a big game coming up and–”

“You could use all the running you can get, Stilinski.” Isaac retorted before taking my hand in his. “Get your friend to the hospital.”

I nodded, giving Scott a hard look, he knew instantly what it meant. “Yeah, better get him all healed up.”

Stiles was to focused on Isaac’s hand holding mine to see the silent exchange between me and Scott before I tugged the taller boy away and started heading into the woods.

After a moment, Isaac broke the silence with a dry laugh. “You shot McCall.”

I swallowed, running my hand through my hair. “Can we pretend that didn’t happen?”

His laugh continued. “But you shot McCall.”

“Come on, it’s not funny. I could have killed him.” I replied, frowning some.

Isaac’s laugh stopped, a serious look crossing his features. “Oh come on, don’t beat yourself up about it, Y/N. Something was out there. It wasn’t Scott. You know that.” He set a hand on my shoulder. “You were just trying to keep us safe, Scott shouldn’t have been running up on people in the dark.”

I sighed. After a moment, I raised my gaze to his. “There was something out there, huh?”

He nodded. “It was big. It couldn’t have been a wolf.”

I shook my head. “No. It couldn’t have.”

Isaac took my hand as we made our way back to his car. “Think he’ll be okay?” He asked, opening the door for me.

“I think so.” Actually, I knew he’d be okay. I knew he was probably already healed and continuing doing whatever it was that he was doing tonight. The thing was, I didn’t know if Stiles was one as well or if he was just trying to stop his friend on a full moon.

I moved to get in the car, but I stopped to turn and face Isaac. “We can’t tell anyone about this, okay?”

He laughed. “Trust me, I won’t. My dad found out anything close to this happened, I don’t even want to think about what would happen…” He frowned. “Let’s just hope Stilinski and McCall keep their mouths shut.”

“Something tells me they will.” I said softly. “I’m sorry if I get you into any trouble.”

Isaac gave a small smile. “You won’t get me into any trouble. I do that myself.” He looked me over before leaning forward, placing his lips to mine lightly.

I was a bit surprised, so it took me a moment to respond, but when I did, his hands reached up to cup my cheeks, holding me close to him. The kiss went on for a few moments, neither of us knowing or caring about being watched. When he pulled back, I could barely ask the question I had at the tip of my tongue.

All my brain activity was focused on getting me to breathe again, but Isaac seemed to see the question in my eyes. He grinned. “I told you earlier.”

He helped me get into the front seat, holding onto the edge of the door. “I like the distractions you cause.”

The boy shut the door to the passenger side before walking around to get in on the other side. “I guess we’re gonna have to find something else to write about.”

I chuckled. “I guess so.”

28. My friend dragged me to this party and I just saw my ex quick make out with me

Something Good (First Kiss before the First Date?)

“Tae! I told you, I don’t want to go! Jaemin could be there and there is no way in hell I’m going to be anywhere within a 20 feet radius of that bastard.” Jungkook tried to wrench his arm from Taehyung’s grip but the lean boy was surprisingly strong despite the numerous times Jungkook has seen him eat pop tarts as a meal.

“But Kookie! This is literally the biggest party of the year and Hoseok hyung is going to be there. Please Jungkook-ah, I need your support. I’ll buy you food for a week!” Taehyung used his infamous pouty lips on the younger boy.

“A month. Make it a month. And I’ll consider going, okay?” Jungkook prided himself on being immune to Taehyung’s puppy dog eyes, but he kind of wanted to show Jaemin that he was doing way better without him.

“Deal! Please Jungkookie, you’re my best friend. I need you!” This time, Jungkook was successful in pulling away from the brunette.

“Well you’re not going to need me once you get into hyung’s pants.” Taehyung spluttered at the younger’s blunt words.

“That’s not true! No matter what, you’ll still be my best friend and I’ll still love you the most Kookie-ah!” The older boy proceeded to plaster himself against Jungkook’s side again.

“Oh my god, Tae! I’ll freaking go to the damn party if you let me go right now.” Taehyung immediately detached himself and put his hands up in mock surrender. The older boy was trying not to smile at his victory.

“Great! Come to my room at seven so Jin hyung and I can make you hot enough to steal Jaemin’s new date!” With that, Jungkook watched as his best friended bounded down the hall to do who-knows-what.

Jungkook shook his head, but he was secretly glad that Taehyung was trying to cheer him up.

By the time he was at Taehyung’s dorm room, he and Jin were already dressed up and ready to go. Jin was looking as handsome as always and he had a fleeting thought that maybe Jaemin wouldn’t have left him if he was as beautiful as Jin. Jungkook quickly brushed that thought aside. Who needs that jerk anyway?

“Jungkookie, I’m glad to hear you’re actually going with us tonight.” The pretty male wrapped his arms around the college freshman.

“Yeah, Tae was very successful in convincing me.” Taehyung nodded like a puppy at that.

“Come on, Kookie. We don’t have much time. Let’s get you dressed, sexy!” Jungkook allowed himself to be pulled into the bathroom where Jin was ready to stuff him in an outfit picked by Taehyung (under Jin’s supervision thank goodness).

“Tae…don’t you think this is a bit tight? It’s uncomfortable.” The leather pants were hugging his thighs like a second skin and he felt like he wasn’t even wearing anything.

“It’s not supposed to be comfortable silly! Besides, the tank top you’re wearing looks best with leather.” Jin made a sound of agreement on the side.

Jungkook sighed, opting to stay still while Jin fixed his eyeliner.

“Done! Let’s go rock this party!” Taehyung and Jin each took one of Jungkook’s arms and towed him towards the huge house that belonged to the Delta Phi Omega fraternity that Hoseok was a part of.

When they got there, people were already strewn across the lawn probably drunk out of their minds.

“Actually, can I change my mind? I’m not really a party person after all.” Jungkook tried to turn back but was stopped by a firm hand on his bicep.

“Of course not sweetie! You’re going.” The sweet smile on Taehyung’s face was so deceptively innocent and he dragged him into the frat house.

Jin handed them both drinks and said he was going to find Namjoon. Taehyung, even though he said he needed Jungkook’s moral support tonight, went off to search for Hoseok. The two left Jungkook helplessly alone and decided to wait by the couch. He wasn’t lying when he said he wasn’t much of a party person.

He was starting to count the Jungle Juice stains on the wall when he felt a hand touch his shoulder.

“Hey, what’s a cutie like you doing here all alone?” He could smell the alcohol from the stranger’s breath. Jungkook tried to inch away but the hand on his shoulder had tightened.

“Where are you going, sweetheart? Don’t you want to play with me?” The guy was obviously drunk out of his mind.

“Not really…” Jungkook muttered and tried to remove himself again.

“Come on honey–” Another hand gripped the stranger’s arm.

“He said he didn’t want to Sanghun. Let go.” Jungkook looked up and met with fierce brown eyes.

“Why do you care, Jimin? This cutie’s just playing hard to get.”

“No, he’s not. He’s my boyfriend.” Jungkook’s head snapped up at that and looked wide-eyed at the boy called ‘Jimin.’

“What? How the hell did such a cutie end up with you?” The stranger got up and left anyway.

“Hey, you okay there?” The brown eyes were now warm and gentle.

“Um, yeah. Thank you…” Jungkook didn’t know why but he felt a blush starting to form on his cheeks.

“No problem. My name is Jimin. What’s yours?” Jimin smiled and Jungkook noticed that his eyes crinkled into crescents.

“I’m Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook.”

“Jungkook? Do you happen to know Taetae then?”

“Taehyung? Yeah, he’s my best friend.”

“So you’re the one Tae is always talking about. You’re cuter in person too. I’m Hoseok hyung’s roommate by the way. You know Hoseok hyung right?” Jungkook nodded at that.

Jungkook wanted to ask if he had seen Taehyung anywhere but he saw Jaemin out the corner of his eyes (he hated that he could still distinguish his ex in a crowd). Jimin noticed him tensing and shot Jungkook a concerned look.

“Are you okay? You look a little nervous.” Jimin ran a soothing hand down Jungkook’s arms.

“I’m really sorry, but I just saw my ex-boyfriend. Could you please kiss me? I promise I’ll make it up to you.” Jungkook’s eyes flitted around frantically.

“Uh, yeah sure I guess.” Jungkook wasted no time in pulling Jimin down with a hand on his neck, just in time for Jaemin to catch sight of the two.

Even though he had meant for the kiss to be revenge against Jaemin, Jungkook couldn’t help but notice how warm and soft Jimin’s lips were against his. He felt the older boy’s hand on his waist and he tilted his head to deepen the kiss. It would be a lie to say he wasn’t enjoying this turn of events.

Jungkook vaguely remembered hearing a gasp and a shuffle of feet, but he was too caught up in the feel of Jimin’s mouth moving against his. He let out a little moan when Jimin’s tongue swiped gently across his lower lip and he willingly parted his mouth. Jaemin was no longer watching them, having stormed off, but the two continued to make out as if they were actually a couple before a few minutes ago.

Jimin was the one to pull away first, his eyes darkening at the sight of Jungkook’s glossy lips that were swollen from his nipping. They were both a little dazed, but Jungkook could only focus on the warmth from the hand that was still on his waist.

“So…that was nice.” Jimin kept rubbing soothing circles on the inside of his wrist and Jungkook couldn’t stop relishing in the treatment.

“Y-yeah. Thank you by the way.” Jungkook’s face was flushed, whether from the alcohol or the hot kiss he just shared with Jimin, he didn’t know.

“Sure, happy to help.” Jimin’s warm smile was back and Jungkook felt his heart flutter. Jungkook has never seen someone so attractive before and god, does he want to kiss him again.

“Say, Jungkook. Would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow? I’d like to get to know you better. Normally, I take people on dates before I kiss them. Let’s just say you’re an exception.” Jimin’s tone was as gentle as ever and he looked at Jungkook like he was the one entranced.

Jungkook hadn’t expected Jimin to ask him out, but who was he to refuse?

“Yeah, definitely. Uh, I’ll give you my number.” Jungkook’s hands trembled slightly while he entered his contact information into Jimin’s phone.

“Okay, I’ll text you.” Jimin smiled again and Jungkook swore it was the most gorgeous smile he’s ever been the lucky recipient of. Jungkook heard someone calling Jimin’s name.

“I got to go. I’ll see you tomorrow okay Jungkookie?” Jimin pressed a quick kiss to the side of Jungkook’s mouth. The younger boy nodded even though no one was beside him.

When Taehyung and Jin came to collect him, they both looked at Jungkook questioningly because he looked like he had a permanent flush blooming across his face. Jungkook just shook his head at their questions and said that, “Something good happened.” He continued to ignore their prodding but couldn’t stop the small smile from showing.

Maybe he had to thank Jaemin for something. He was the reason why Jungkook got to kiss Jimin and go on a date with him.

I love you, but do you love me?

So here is the awaited part 2 to my Vernon Scenario~ Sorry if it didn’t meet your expectations gaaaiissss, but I really didn’t want to drag this one on or else it was going to end up becoming a series…lol I don’t think I’m going to make a part 3 but that can always change

Summary: You moved to Seoul and have to deal with the ongoing torment at school from none other than Chwe Hansol aka Vernon

Word Count: 2070

Genre: Flufffff

Pairing: You & Vernon

Perpetrator (Part 1)

You entered the packed cafeteria trying to make way to find a table to sit at. Ever since the stand off with Vernon from earlier that day, everybody in school had been approaching you. Either telling you to stop flirting with their precious Oppa or fawning over you for standing up to the big bully. You sat down at an empty table that was placed at the back corner of the cafeteria, hoping to be able to eat your lunch peacefully without the attention of the whole school watching you.

"Hey, Y/N!“ A blonde boy skipped towards you and sung your name in a chirpy tone, placing himself in the seat beside you. He had a huge smile plastered on his face, his high cheekbones well-defined as his eyes creased into a warm eye smile. “I heard that Vernon asked you out!“

You almost choked on your spoonful of rice remembering Vernon’s words from earlier, ”…Go on a date with me.“ You stared blankly back at the blonde boy, you had no clue who he was or why he acted so casual or how he even knew your name in the first place.

"Ah…” He sighed, realizing the situation. His hand moved up to scratch the back of his head out of embarrassment but he continued to smile, “I’m Soonyoung, but people call me Hoshi!” You nodded slowly in response, still without a clue of who he was and why he was talking to you. “That’s weird, I thought he’d at least mention us to you. I’m friends with Vernon!” the boy continued to trail on.

You furrowed your eyebrows, your fork constantly picking at the dry steak that sat on your plate because you had no appetite whatsoever. A rush of questions filled your head: Why would anyone want to be friends with him? Why did he ask me to go on a date with him?

"Why would I want to go on a date with somebody like him?“ You blurted out loud before you brought your bottle of water up to your lips.

"Because I’m handsome,” you heard a devilish voice echo from behind you resulting in you tensing up. “And smart and talented,” your perpetrator continued to gloat about himself before sitting down in the seat across from you. You could feel the rate of your heart pick up and your hands begin to get clammy again. You breathed out calmly trying to ignore the boy that had tormented you for a whole week since you had moved here. “And because if you say no, then I’m going to continue bothering you.” He finished off with a fake smile and looked over at Hoshi, “Hyung, what are you doing here?"

Hoshi crinkled his nose at Vernon before smiling and playfully smacking his arm. "Ahh~ he’s always trying to act so cool in front of his crushes!"

"What?!” You and Vernon yelled in unison. You looked back at Vernon and he began to stutter, trying to tell the older boy to quiet down and persuade you not to listen to him.

“It’s true!” Hoshi grabbed your hand and scooted closer to you so that your shoulders were touching, “Don’t worry, Hansol’s not always like that. He’s actually a giant teddy bear inside, Y/N! He’s just really awkward around girls and he doesn’t know how to express himself!” You couldn’t help but let out a laugh glancing back at Vernon, whose face was bright red by the way. You didn’t know whether it was from anger or embarrassment but his flustered expression tugged at your heartstrings and you could feel the corners of your lips slowly begin to rise before you stopped yourself and cleared your throat.

“It doesn’t matter, I’m not going on a stupid date with him anyway,” you retorted and got up as soon as you saw Hoshi’s smile fade. The glint and excitement in his eyes were no longer there.

“What? Why–” Vernon scoffed between Hoshi’s words, crossing his arms in amusement as he rose a brow at you, clicking his tongue, “Your loss, not mine.” The boy got up and shoved his hands into his pockets before harshly ramming his shoulder against yours, intending to knock you over as he walked out of the cafeteria followed by Hoshi and 11 other boys.

The last bell of the day finally went off and you quickly packed your things getting ready to leave. You hadn’t seen Vernon or any of his friends ever since lunch, even though you two shared your last class period together. His seat was empty obviously and you couldn’t help but question where he was. You shook the thought away and sighed. He was trying to avoid you and you knew it but it relieved you knowing that you won’t have to worry about Vernon tormenting you.

You headed out the door and took your usual route to your small home that was only a few blocks away from the school. Your headphones were plugged in and you couldn’t help but find yourself thinking about how you had declined Vernon’s terms of going on a date with him. It made you frustrated because you didn’t know what he wanted or why he acted the way he did towards you. You honestly didn’t even know why he started picking on you in the first place.

As you turned the corner into an alley, you felt something hit the back of your head. Anger churned inside you and you turned around gripping the back of your head feeling furious that someone literally just interrupted you in your train of thoughts. But as you turned around to see an empty soda can sitting on the ground, you looked up and saw the familiar smug look that you saw in class everyday after getting hit by a paper ball on several accounts.

“Isn’t it dangerous for a girl like you to be walking into alleys alone?” Vernon walked towards the crushed up can that he had kicked at you and ironically threw it into the trash can.

You snorted thinking to yourself, “He doesn’t give a damn about anyone and yet he has a soft spot for mother nature, funny.”

“And what? You think having someone like you here is supposed to make me feel better?” You placed your hands on your hips staring at him. You had one eyebrow cocked up, trying to observe him, read him, or at least try to get a clue on who this boy really was and what he wanted with you.

Realization hit you and a smug look spread across your face. You slowly stepped up to the boy, teasing him by leaning in super close to him, “Did you seriously just follow me out of school to my house?”

“What?” He flustered out in what sounded like gibberish, you could see his cheeks turning into a bright shade of pink, “Who would want to follow someone like you home anyway?” He pushed past you and tried to walk casually but you saw right through him. He had no clue where he was going.

You ran up to his side remembering Hoshi’s words about him being a “giant teddy bear” but that thought only made you shiver, you deemed it impossible for someone like Vernon to have a soft side. “You’re such a creep, Chwe Hansol.” His head snapped toward your direction and he had the most offended look you could ever imagine possible on his face resulting in you bursting out in laughter.

Vernon! My name is Vernon! And why won’t you accept my offer and go on a date with me?!”

“Because you’re mean! You’re always picking on people! Me, included! You can’t just go around calling people names just because you don’t like them, Vernon.”

It was silent and that only made the situation even more awkward than it already was. He left out a disgruntled sigh before finally breaking the silence, “Forget it, you probably like having me bother you in class anyway,” he scoffed cockily before sticking his tongue out at you. You rolled your eyes and shook your head, “So childlike.” Even after everything you said, he still didn’t take any of your words into consideration. You didn’t understand him. One second he’s open and says what’s on his mind and another he’s a completely different person with a hard exterior built up hiding behind his cocky and harsh words.

You sped walk ahead of him, no longer caring whether he found out where you lived or not. You reached the front gates of your residence, entering the patches of grass that grew on the dried dirt of your yard. Your house was pretty small compared to the others on the block. The outside was painted in a pale white shade but you could see the old ink chipping away from the walls.

“Noona!” You heard the small voice of a familiar boy and turned to find your toddler brother playing in the garden. He was wearing his white long sleeve under his blue overalls and a pair of dark boots to match with the look. In one hand he was holding a small steel shovel and the other an old dandelion that had turned into nothing more but a round dome of seeds with its roots still attached to the stem. Dirt was smeared over his clothes and had even managed to make contact with his round cheeks. “Noona, is that your boyfriend?” You had completely forgotten that Vernon was with you and his words brought a heat to your ears, making your face flush with the boldness in your brother’s words.

“Hey, little guy, where’s your parents?” Vernon knelt down so that he was at the same eye level as your brother. You were completely shocked at his change in persona once again.

Is he bipolar or something?

“My dad isn’t home and my mom’s inside,” your brother blurted out. The toddler looked up and saw the uneasiness look you had on your face, causing him to furrow his eyebrows at Vernon, “My Noona doesn’t seem to like you, I think you should go,”

“Wahh, your Noona is really lucky to have someone like you looking out for her, but I’m not a bad person,” and for the first time, you saw his lips curve into a soft smile. You could see the usual crinkle that appeared between his brows fade, his cheeks rising as he let out a small laugh.

“Even if you’re not a bad person, you can’t have my Noona, she’s mine,” your brother retorted once again as he ran up to you and clutched onto your hand. “She doesn’t have space for anyone else,” he stuck his tongue out at Vernon before looking up at you with his teethy smile. One of his front tooth had fallen out the day you guys arrived in Seoul and you could remember how excited he was about getting to ‘meet the tooth fairy’ for the first time. You were used to your brother’s clinginess. To be honest, you even found it cute. Every time he caught you spending time or even glimpsing at another guy, your brother immediately blurted out that he was your boyfriend.

“Wow, he’s just as stubborn as you are,” Vernon looked up at you blankly completely entranced by your younger brother. “Well, you can’t keep her to yourself forever, little guy. Your sister’s too pretty, she’s got all the guys at school falling for her.” You felt your heart swell up in your chest as soon as you heard Vernon’s words. Your ears were burning and you could feel your face heating up even more. Your stomach churned and you tried your hardest to hide the smile that was creeping up onto your lips. Was he seriously trying to flirt with you now? Through your brother too?!

“Noona!” Your brother tugged at your hand grasping your attention. “Stop being pretty so that the guys at school won’t like you!” Vernon chuckled softly as he saw your flustered expression hearing your brother’s words.

“I think you should listen to him,” Vernon smiled genuinely at you and you couldn’t help but notice the feeling of your heart throbbing vigorously against your ribcage once again. “What?” He rose his eyebrows at you, his smug look returning to its natural habitat, “I told you I could be nice.”

Summary: A stupid story of Jean falling in love with the guy who decided to leave stupid pictures of himself on all of the tester phones in the Apple store.

[Read on ao3]

In all honesty, everything could have been avoided if Jean had just listened to Marco’s advice and bought a better case for his phone while he had the chance. Still, he’d somehow ended up in his bedroom staring at his fallen phone, the screen completely shattered.

“Shit,” he swore under his breath, retrieving the phone from the floor, careful not to cut himself on the glass. He held the phone closer to his face, inspecting it. The entire screen was wrecked to the point where he’d probably cut his entire finger just trying to unlock it. Jean let out a loud groan because, as usual, Marco was right, he should have just bought a better case, but he’d be damned if he’d let Marco know it. He threw on the nearest jacket and grabbed the keys to his car before heading out of the door.

It was pretty childish, even for Jean, to immediately spend money on fixing his phone just for the sake of proving his friend wrong. Still, he found himself in his car driving to the nearest store in which he could have his phone repaired. His face was contorted into the most annoyed scowl he could muster the entire time and it didn’t help that his phone kept playing his text tone, though he wasn’t receiving any messages.

Kirsten was having one of the most horrid and difficult days of her entire life. And that wasn’t even close to being an overstatement.

At first, she was having trouble even identifying her problem. The latest stitch had gone surprisingly well; she had managed to get all of the information that was necessary in just one go with no significant issues.

The only logical reason for how she was feeling would be the residual emotion from the stitch. It was lingering longer than she’d experienced before and it made her feel such an immense amount of sadness; she wasn’t sure how to deal with it.

As soon as she came home, she noticed a note from Camille. She was out with Linus. Kirsten was desperate for someone to talk to and she’d honestly been looking forward for her to be home this time.

A rapid pang of sorrow hit her like a semi truck and she dropped to the ground, sliding down the wall as the tears uncontrollably slipped from her brown eyes. Her chest felt tight as her breathing was labored and heavy. She was shaking while she tried to calm her uneven breathing.

Kirsten eventually calmed herself down enough to press with shaky fingers on her phone and call the one other person she wanted, no,  needed to talk to; Cameron.

“Cameron?” She said quickly, instantaneously realizing that she caught his voicemail. With a sigh and a sniffle, she continued to leave the message, “I’m coming over. By the time you actually check your phone I’ll probably already be over there so…just be there, okay? I don’t usually need people for anything and even when I do, I don’t say anything and you know that but- I need you.”

Hanging up, she wiped the remnants of her tear stained cheeks with the back of her hand and made her way to Cameron’s apartment. She found herself just hoping and praying that he was there. She needed a friend.

Her incessant knocking ensued as she found herself at his door, but it was more dull than usual for somewhat obvious reasons.

“Cameron? Open the door.” She mused gently, still sniffing from her prior breakdown.

Cameron made his way to the door, looking through the peephole and seeing the distressed blonde. His forehead crinkled in confusion as he opened the door.

“Kirsten? What’s wrong, I have someone ov-”

But he didn’t need to finish his sentence. Her eyes had already landed on the girl she had dubbed as ‘tanktop’ sitting in his apartment. It all suddenly made sense to her why he wasn’t expecting her over; he was too busy with 'tanktop’ to check his phone. He was too busy to notice or care that she had been acting different.

“Oh.” She paused, the lump in her throat returning. “Um, I’m sorry- I didn’t know, I, uh-"

She couldn’t help sputtering like a child. It felt like she had been slapped in the face or someone had an iron death grip on her heart at that moment.

"Kirsten-” Cameron started, trying to do some damage control, before ‘tanktop’ began talking.

“Who is this, Cam?” She asked, her tone slightly too innocent for Kirsten’s liking.

“Oh, me?” She began as a bitter laugh escaped her throat. “I’m nobody, remember?”

“Kirsten, just-” Cameron started again, but this time was cut off by Kirsten.

"I’m just gonna go.” She breathed, turning on her heels back down the hall she entered from.

She could feel the tears welling up behind her eyes, but this time, she wasn’t positive she could solely blame it on residual emotion. Cameron sighed angrily, speeding out the door after her.

“Just wait!” He shouted, catching up to her and grabbing her arm.

She spun around, eyes wild and furious.

“Just leave me alone.” She spoke, her voice cracking and not coming off nearly as strong as she was.

Talk to me!” He pleaded, seeing the most emotion out of her in that moment than he ever had.

“You should have known. You should have seen that the stitch affected me, but you were too busy with her to notice anything.” She stated darkly, arms limp and defeated at her sides.

“What’s wrong with you, Kirsten?!” He finally asked, exasperated by their back and forth.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me! Don’t you understand! That’s why I’m even here right now! This feeling- it’s excruciating and I don’t know what to do.”

“Kirsten.” He whispered.

That was all it took. Him looking at her like a wounded puppy with those beautiful eyes broke her down again. She collapsed into his arms, sobbing hysterically and grasping at the fabric of his t-shirt into her balled fists.

He stroked her hair until he felt her breathing even out, not caring about his tear soaked shirt.

“Are you okay, Stretch?” He asked softly, bringing his forehead to hers. He undoubtedly never wanted to see her so broken again. It was killing him.

“You told me to come to you when anything was wrong. You told me that I could trust you; that you’d be there for me.” She whispered, her voice hoarse.

“I’m so sorry that I didn’t know it only applied to when it was convenient for you!” Her raspy voice finished, pushing her body away from his.

“It doesn’t just apply to when it’s convenient for me and you know that!” He claimed.

“How am I supposed to know that?!”

“Because I care about you, Kirsten! Goddammit, can’t you see that?!”

A beat of silence passed between the two, both equally shocked by his outburst. He walked closer to her and she didn’t move a step away. When their faces were close enough, he looked between her eyes and her lips, cupping her cheek. She instinctively leaned into the warm, tender touch, closing her eyes.

Their lips met after a brief moment of teasing from warm, mint breath over lips, and she pressed closer into his figure. His arms found their way around her waist, holding her as if she were a porcelain doll that would break without the utmost care. Her hands ventured around to the back of his neck as her fingers curled into his soft, chestnut hair. He deepened the kiss, pulling her even closer, if it were possible, molding their bodies into one perfect being.

She pulled away after some time and cleared her raw throat, the hot tears pricking at the back of her already sore, tired eyes. She cupped his cheek, pressing one last, fleeting kiss to his lips.

“I’ll see you at work, Dr. Goodkin.”

*Dusts off shoulder* So I’m pretty proud of this one. Let me know what you think! This is the first angsty fanfic I’ve written.

I wrote this fic and in exchange Sophia made some amazing art!

Cas had snuck out to meet Dean again. It was pretty much a nightly routine at this point. As soon as Sam fell asleep, Cas would receive a text and ten minutes later the two best friends would be lying on their backs in the small park behind Dean’s apartment building.

Usually they didn’t speak, which worked out just fine for Cas since he wasn’t the greatest with words. The two of them would just lie on the grass and stare up at the stars. This close to the city there weren’t many, but there were enough.

It was Cas’ favorite part of the day. Shoulder to shoulder with his best friend (their closeness excused as platonic since they needed to share the body warmth in this chilly weather), staring up into the inky darkness dotted with a handful of stars, as if some preschooler had gotten stingy with the glitter. Cas wasn’t exactly an astronomy buff, but he did love staring up into that staggering depth and wishing he could exist in it.

“Hey, Cas?” Dean’s voice was small, hesitant, but Cas still jumped. It was the first sound of the night, after all, barring the rustling trees and squeaks of the lone swing moved by the breeze. After months of silent nights, Cas should have known that Dean was just building himself up for something. This was his serious voice. His this-might-be-stupid-but-I-need-to-ask-anyway voice. His my-dad-would-have-a-fit-if-he-found-out voice. This was the voice he only used with Cas.

Private School

He was getting ready for his new school. Once again. But this was nothing like his old school. This was private school. He looked ridiculous in the uniform the school had given him. It was not his style, not at all. Also the whole change from; wearing what you want to wear to wearing what the school wanted you to wear didn’t felt right to him at all to be honest. So he decided to wear the blazer and the tie with some white shirt underneath it. This didn’t felt right either but at least he didn’t had to wear what every other guy was wearing.

He walked trough the halls of the school as he arrived. Some kids were gazing him down as he passed them, others didn’t really care about him. It sucked to change schools all the time. Just when he had found somebody he actually had a connection with, he did something stupid and had to look for another school, again. But this school was way different than all the other schools he has ever been to. And they already gave him the key of his locker, he only had to find it.

After a good ten minutes of searching for his locker, he finally found it. He probably looked like an idiot searching for his locker but honestly, he didn’t really care. His books and his schedule were in his locker which made him sigh out loud. This was way different than public school. He grabbed what he needed and then closed his locker. Zack decided to go to his class already, since there were only two minutes left and he wanted to avoid the people.

He had no idea where to go. He was already 5 minutes late and was totally lost. Also, he couldn’t find no one to ask where he had to go to. Until he walked trough the halls again. The boy looked up, seeing a rather attractive girl standing there. And the longer he looked at her, the more attractive she became. He cocked his head a little and then decided to go and ask her where he had to go as she looked like she was already from here. As he approached her, he smiled friendly and held out his schedule. “Hey, excuse me. Can I ask you where this is?”

Ben is too kind-hearted doing stage door not wanting to disappoint fans! Lovely man but please BEN REST!!

The play’s the thing…

Whatever his reasons his comment to a fan last night if it’s true @beliEVE2414 I cant do it every night..spread the word on that one, is that alright? I try but sometimes Im just *sigh*” is probably him already with a made up mind. Love BC but he’s gotta do his own thing, he’s got a tiny baby i mean ffs - fans don’t want to feel guilty for doing nothing wrong.

It’s so weird that people are blaming other fans though, it’s not their fault in the slightest that Stage Door has gone wild. For over a year fans were under the impression he wasn’t doing it - 2nd night i got in a taxi outside SD and there were only a few hopefuls milling around - Now it’s 3+ rows of people trying to get an autograph and he’s effectively doing his own premiere every night. And he’s the only one that can fix it. No one expects anything from him or expects him to even do SD. People would rather have Benedict do stage door knowing he’s there because he WANTS to rather than him doing it when he’d rather have gone home 10 minutes prior because he doesn’t want to let anyone down. Majority want him fit and well and HAPPY, not the opposite.

As i said on twitter he shouldn’t have to plead with his fan base about it to send any message at all. It WAS/STILL IS in his control (signs way in advance when he wasn’t doing it) and he CAN bloody well keep it that way. And Benedict, of course it’s al-fkn-right. Blimmin’ sausage…
