Prison Break Season 5: Episode 1 Plot Revealed, Major Characters Confirmed?

While the Prison Break Season 5 may have been delayed, fans will be excited to know all major characters–brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, Sara Tancredi, Theodore ‘T-Bag’ Bagwell, Benjamin Miles ‘C-Note’ Franklin and Fernando Sucre–will be returning for the series reunion.

The news was confirmed by a Season-Zero article which details the return of all major characters along with some new ones based on the script of the first episode written by original creator Paul T. Scheuring. The Prison Break Season 5 begins with the release of T-Bag, who appears to be in quite a good shape, from the Fox River State Penitentiary. So it seems the show will probably revolve around the psychotic villain.

Wentworth Miller will not be getting much screen time in the first episode as the character of Scofield is believed to be dead and doesn’t appear until the last minutes of the episode.

Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) will also be returning with her 7-year-old son Mike. She now lives in New York and has another man, Scott, in her life for quite some time now.

Also returning on the show are C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) and Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) who are expected to join the team in their new quest.

C-Note too lives in New York now, and is the respected leader of an islamic center next to a Mosque and fights against radicalization. Sucre is now working on a freelance cargo ship that travels the world, transporting illegal things.

New characters joining the show include Cate, a woman in her 30s who may be Lincoln’s girlfriend as they work together at a dive shop in Florida; and Sheba, a beautiful 20-year-old Middle Eastern smuggler.

The Prison Break revival, however, seems to have been hit by production delays due to rescheduling by actors Miller, Dominic Purcell and female lead Callies. The duo of Miller and Purcell are committed to their portrayal of Captain Cold and Heat Wave in CW’s “The Flash” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.” Callies too has a prior commitment to her USA Network’s new dystopian drama Colony. The shooting, however, is now expected to begin in spring and we could possibly get to see the Prison Break reunion in the summer.

Prison Break Season 5 is expected to be a limited series with only 10 episodes and would possibly be released in mid-2016 or later this year.

by Attorney C (arh581958)

For all intents and purposes, Cell Block C does not exist—at least, not in any blueprint, map, or schematics. It is a myth, a legend, or a folktale used to tame prisoners in the same way the boogey man did for young children.

Some say the myth was started because there were too many alphas in captivity and the overpopulated centers had become a problem. Some say the legend started from the administration themselves as an excuse for the mysterious disappearances throughout the years. Some say the folklore came from the inmates themselves—for none have ever come back.

(Or: Mike finds freedom in a hopeless place.)
