Ok so AM finally hire you as their stylist and you do an awesome job (obviously) so Mr. Miles Kane decides to ask you for some fashion advice for his upcoming tour, the question is how would you style Miles Kane?

Alright Rodaina, I’m ready. And I’m so happy AM love me as their stylist. Dream job. Hahaha.

So, the thing with Miles Kane is this: he can literally wear anything. He has the perfect physique for fashion samples, too. Typically you want the guy to have a triangle-shaped frame; wide shoulders down to a tapered, slender waist. Miles has that. Not to mention those long legs. He would be the ideal body type to dress (or undress… 😏). I get really excited when I see Miles doing any kind of fashion editorial. The man should’ve been a model. Seriously. He understands  how to pose, what facial expressions to make, and he does this amazing thing where he looks into the camera and it feels like he’s staring you down and into your soul; and that connection is so good. To me, he looks classically British and I would emphasize that aspect of him but keep him modern and current. He’s got a worldly, jet-setter, ‘I’ve-got-wanderlust-and-I-look great-in-every-major-city-and-I-didn’t-even-try-that-hard’ kind of look. Effortless and cool. With loads of sex appeal.

I would keep Miles in all tight, tapered pants. With a bit of elasticity. Have you seen the way that boy bends and stretches?? The fabric should be something he could move around on stage in. Lots of great jackets and blazers, bold colors, sleek fabrics, and some fantastic accessories like animal print boots, classic black loafers (but maybe with more of an elongated shape) and some shades.

Paul Smith is a British designer who’s known for his tailoring and for putting twists on classic British pieces like the school uniforms with bright stripes, patterns, and contrasting colors. (He’s also been knighted by the Queen because of all he’s done for British fashion, so there’s that.)

I think Miles would look amazing in a lot of his pieces, especially the fall 2017 read-to-wear looks. I love the mixed prints, bold colors and of course the snakeskin boots. I’m actually dying over those boots. I would try and get Miles to incorporate other types of animal prints besides cheetah and leopard. I would also get him in that cranberry-colored suit immediately. He would kill in that outfit. And if he didn’t like the boots, I wouldn’t mind it with some loafers sans socks either.

THE HAPPY LIST VOL. 6

I’ve been back reading my previous posts and it occurs to me that it seems like I’m not a happy person. So to delete all the negativity, here’s another round up of the things that make life more beautiful.

  • Movie date. Step Up All In, at last! Francis knew how I am dying to watch this movie. Since we haven’t celebrated our 19th monthsary yet (July 16) because of typhoon Glenda and series of school works, yesterday was the only chance. I was really glad when he asked me if we can go out and watch a movie. This guy has a spoiled girlfriend, yes.
  • Rain. Most of the time, rain sucks especially when you’re on your way to school and you aim to arrive there as fresh and as neat as you leave the house but there’s rain who ruined the plan. But I’ve had enough in cursing the rain and I figured out that loving it makes the day easy going.
  • New shoes. Well, I am still hoping that rain and flood in the metro will not mar this precious shoes of mine. I’ve been wanting an animal print loafers and hooray! Thanks a lot Primadonna for providing my luxury. And for draining my wallet as well. Wehee.
  • Aztec print notebook. According to a study, we spend more time on things that are “cute”. And these kind of things are my recent addictions. No wonder I can’t get this off my bag.
  • Compliments about my handwriting. From the time I posted my handwriting here on Tumblr {click} {click}, I got a series of compliments from people I hardly know in person. I must say that it is really overwhelming. I mean, I always get the same compliment from people I know and I thought they just compliment me because I am their friend. Lol. Plus, I don’t think my penmanship is that good.
  • Hello Kitty tumbler. I am not a Hello Kitty fan, I don’t get crazy over those stuffs but this one’s definitely an exception. Perfect container of a hot chocolate drink in a rainy day and perfect container of a cold water on a sunny day.
  • Time spent with friends. To tell you honestly, I don’t have a lot of true friends. However, this doesn’t mean that I am not in good terms with everyone. It’s just that I want to keep my circle small and I trust only few. And times spent eating pizza, watching movies, going on an exhibit, and studying with them is time worth treasuring.
  • Nature. There’s no such power of healing than the nature possess. The sight quickly relieved all the stress and refreshed me form the polluted city. As I look into it’s beauty, I suddenly had a feeling that I want to be a goddess who will protect them. Crazy, I know but somehow, we can be that protector even though we can’t be a goddess.
  • My mom. I can’t thank God enough for giving me this woman as my mom. She’s the most thoughtful because she shows her appreciation by giving me different forms of rosary – a rosary bracelet and a ring rosary – one thing that I inherited because I usually give rosary to a person as a sign of appreciation. I am blessed to have her and I keep on praying that my future children will be as blessed as me.

Let’s continue counting our blessings! May God bless us always. :) Have a meaningful life, everyone!
