princess rescue

anonymous asked:

(about that Disney princess Dean art) imagine a fic where Dean is a prince and thinks he's part of some big story, so he's all alone and waiting in some tower for a sign that it's time to start his journey to 'rescue a princess' and then Cas shows up & is like 'I'm here to rescue you' and dean's like???? I'm not the damsel in distress??? who r u & then they fight about who is the prince and who is the princess being rescued, turns out Dean is the princess but BOTH of them get rescued in the end

Castiel: I’m here to get you out of this tower!

Dean, offended: Dude, I can leave any time I want!

Castiel, frowning: Well then why haven’t you?

Dean: I’m, like! Waiting for a sign! Or something!

Castiel: …….

Castiel: …………………

Castiel: *gestures to himself*

Dean, nodding: You’ve got a point.

And they lived happily ever after <3

Could've Sworn I've Heard This Tale Before...

Context: We were at a tea house/inn in response to an ad for an entertainer, since my Drow elf was the only one who had an entertainers background, I had to entertain the patrons there to get us a place to stay for the night

DM: They look expectantly to you for a story.

Drow: I’ll tell a classic tale about a hero rescuing the princess.
*proceeds to roll a 4 for performance*

DM: The lady who owns the tea house suggests that you tell another story. Fast.

Drow: Uhhh okay I tell a tale of a halfling who lived in a hole who one day gets recruited by a mage and a bunch of dwarves to rescue the dwarves’ fortune that is in the mountains that were once their home, guarded by a dragon.

DM: ….roll for it

Drow: *proceeds to roll a natural 20*

DM: The halflings in the tea house give you a standing ovation. There are tears being shed. Everyone has gathered around you to listen. Someone in the background says “wait. I’ve heard this story before…”

Needless to say, it was the best timed natural 20 of the night.

By Rescue the Princess!

@huxloween blood - ”i’m general hux and i’m here to rescue you”

hux saves the only thing he really wants from the dying starkiller base… everyone knows a proper star wars rescue always ends with a kiss.

The brave sir knight has slain the dragon and rescued the princess. In return the knight asks for her hand in marriage. The princess must now awkwardly explain to the knight that while she is grateful for being rescued, she jousts for the other team.

In which little Peggy Carter’s dreams to be a knight rescuing princesses might have become reality. In a way.

(Note: I never imagined Ana Jarvis to be white and I can’t bring myself to start drawing her any different now. So yes, this is Ana.)

Thank you.

Thank you for showing me not all princesses need rescuing.
Thank you for showing me a little sass never hurt anyone.
Thank you for showing me that I can be strong and intelligent too.
Thank you for showing me that I could be a leader.
Thank you for showing me I don’t have to tolerate stuck up half-witted scruffy-looking nerf herders.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for your humor.
Thank you for your strength.
Thank you for playing such a huge role in my life, making me the person I am today.
Thank you, Carrie.

Fitcher’s Bird

I haven’t painted enough recently because graphic novel is eating my life, but I sneaked this in!  It’s a scene from the creepy af fairy tale Fitcher’s Bird, look it up for Bluebird-style awfulness and sorcerers and weird bird stuff!  I think Miyazaki drew inspiration from it when he did his version of Howl’s Moving Castle.

This is also my June drawterry, using the word prompts birdcage, lillypad, and lace!

Captain Ladybug:

“I don’t deal well with deadlines, liars, and stowaways. Guess which one you are?”

Ladybug’s grin was near feral as she grabbed him by the front of his shirt, clearly not caring if she wrinkled it, and leaned in close so their faces were mere inches apart. Adrien swallowed thickly.

“You’re on my ship now, pretty boy, so make yourself comfortable.”

Captain Chat Noir:

He licked his lips, his black coat swishing in the wind as he leaned down to examine Marinette more closely.

“What a pretty princess we have here,” drawled Chat Noir. “I don’t suppose you plan on paying us for rescuing you, Princess?”

“I hardly call breaking into my room and kidnapping me through the window rescuing...Captain,” she added, as if the title was an afterthought.

Captain Marinette & Captain Chat Noir:

“What do you mean he escaped?” Marinette exclaimed, staring at her second-in-command with disbelief in her eyes. “How? He was guarded by at least four people! How do you let a pirate captain just walk out of here?”

She shook her head.

“Nevermind. Rose! Ready the sails! We have a pirate to catch!”

Captain Ladybug and Captain Chat Noir:

“Captain!” Nino - or rather, the Bubbler - lifted his hand to his forehead, saluting his captain. “It seems someone beat us to the loot.”

Chat Noir cocked an eyebrow, leaning his forearms on the railing of the ship.

“Again? Do you know who? And stop speaking so formally to me.”

“Er…yes. It was that new captain on the seas, the one people call Ladybug,” said Nino. “She’s beat us to every raid we’ve planned in the last month. According to sources, it’s just our raids she’s hijacking. Any other pirates on the water have been left alone.”

Chat clicked his tongue before he smirked, staring out at the open waters.

“Ladybug, huh? Well then. Let the games begin.”
