I noticed most of the royals tend to have degrees in the arts like history, geography, art. I'm just curious to know, are there any royals with a degree in the sciences like medicine, physics, maths, engineering, biomedical science, etc? It would be interesting to see a royal who is a medical doctor or a PhD holder.
Yes, for example: - Princess Claire of Luxembourg has a master’s degree and a PhD in Bioethics. - The late Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau had degrees in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering and obtained a MSc degree in Economics. - Prince Amedeo of Belgium has a MBA. - Princess Märtha Louise of Norway is a certified physiotherapist, altrought she has not practised her profession. Queen Mathilde of Belgium has a diploma in speech therapy and worked as a speech therapist, beside having a master’s degree in Psychology. - Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has a degree in Economics.
In my opinion, when a royal is a heir apparent or a heiress apparent, he/she is encouraged to study what can help him/her at best in his/her future role as a monarch.
