and now the moment absolutely no one was waiting for—the bettas mentioned in my description thingy. The blue veiltail is Prince Kaida (shh I didn’t know it was a girl’s name), the red and green crowntail is Sir Leo, and the black and green doubletail is Viscount Simon Robert Bentley Bullroarer Phillipus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, but his friends call him Robert, Bob, or occasionally Lil’ B because look at all those B’s in his name. Prince Kaida was my first betta that I got after the death of my first ever fish, a carnival goldfish named Ralph. Needless to say, Ralph didn’t last very long, the poor fella. But I learned from my experience with him and I’m learning even more with the Prince and his cohorts. It is my dream to give them each their own lovely 10 gallon tank, but it won’t come to fruition until I inevitably graduate and get my own place it seems. The Prince has a nice 5 gallon with a log that he adores; Sir Leo for the next few days will reside in a large masonry jar for fin rot treatment (he normally occupies a regrettably bare 2.5 gallon tank); And Bob, unfortunately with the short end of the stick, must lug around his heavy fins in a rather cramped 1 gallon. All have filters, and have the water changed on a regular schedule depending on the tank size.

I also have a 10 gallon sorority filled with the spunkiest gals you ever did see. But they’re all in the fish hospital on my desk recovering from some fungus thingy. More on them when I can get nice pictures.

P.S. Gomen for the haphazard organization of the pictures. I’m too tired to sort them.
