Just realised all the bananas I bought the other day have gone brown already! So be prepared to see some banana recipes today!!

For breakfast I made my normal banana pancake recipe (one banana and one egg) and added 40g of oats for a bit of extra carb before the gym ☺️

When I come back from the gym I’m gonna make some vegan marble banana bread, so excited!!

I’ve always been the type of person that would compliment and admire others for being body positive, but I never thought that I would be able to love myself for who I am. Every single day I compare myself to other girls and cry because I wish that I could look like them. Although I don’t have my dream body (yet), I am slowly learning to accept the body that I currently have.

Pre-Workout Snack: Banana & Coconut Sugar

Why eat banana before a workout?

1. Potassium: The body looses potassium through sweat and eating a banana can increase potassium levels and relieve muscle cramping

2. Manganese: Aids the metabolism in accessing energy from the foods one consumes

3. Carbohydrates: Helps fuel physical activity and increase endurance 

Coconut sugar also contains potassium and amino acids. This delicious sweetener contains 16 vital amino acids and these are beneficial for muscle development and immune strength.
