Stupid gorgeous, muscled Super Soldier who just had to be working out right in front of you with his God-like physique and sweat glistening on his handsome brow.

At this point, you had no choice in the matter. You were too far gone. Resistance was futile.

“You know, you could just tell him,” muttered the red-headed former assassin beside you.

You scoffed, “Who? About what? I mean, I don’t…what’re you…”

Unimpressed by your less-than-convincing response, Natasha caught your eye and raised an eyebrow. She knew.

Huffing out a frustrated sigh, you conceded. “I can’t do that.”

“Why not?”

A snort of laughter escaped you, “Why? Because he’s Steve Rogers! Captain Freaking America. It’s not gonna happen.”

She shrugged, “You never know unless you try.”

Practical Magic: Practice for the Busy Witch

Seriously, Josh? You’re going to lecture us on the merits of practice? When did witchcraft become sports?

Woah! Easy! Witchcraft isn’t a sport! I’m just -

And for the gods’ sakes, if you tell us that it’s an art…

But it is!

Why are you lecturing us on practice?! We see it all over the place!

Calm down! Goodness!

It’s true that sometimes people get all up in a huff when they’re told that they need to practice something. Sometimes this is a result of upbringing, or a result of having been in sports or visual arts for so long. (I can understand… I was in soccer teams growing up, in concert band and marching band, in a handbell choir, and am trying to become a chef… all of which require significant amounts of practice in order to become proficient.)

So when the new witch is told that he or she should practice every day, it’s understandable that it may not be very… encouraging. Between school, work, and life, when is there time in the day to break out the altar and cast a spell? Let alone on a daily basis?

But that’s what I want to address. Now, I’m not one to say “stop practicing.” That would be bad advice, and very hypocritical of me to say, given that I’m casting spells regularly as well as testing new recipes and cooking techniques all the time. Instead, I want to provide encouragement and some tips on how to practice your magic on a daily basis. It’s much easier than many books and websites make it out to be. I don’t think even “Wicca for Dummies” really simplifies practice as much as it should.

What do you mean? How do you simplify practice? Don’t you have to practice each technique in order to master it?

Technically speaking, yes. But that’s if you’re approaching your personal training like a sport or like a culinary course. Spellwork isn’t a kitchen knife, but it does need to be kept sharp. Keeping it sharp is a matter of daily maintenance. Unlike sharpening a knife, however, magic doesn’t require a lot of equipment or physical effort on your part. We’ll break it down a bit, starting with the “why” and moving on to the “how.”

The Importance of Practice: The “Why”

Don’t you think this is a little obvious, Josh? Why would you need to tell us why we need to practice?

Simple. Knowing why is half the battle. For many individuals, practicing something does nothing if they don’t know why they’re practicing. When I picked up the clarinet in grade school, I was told to practice. I didn’t know why, and for the first couple of years, I had made no progress. It wasn’t until my mother explained that I needed to develop coordination in my fingers as well as learn how to read the music that I began to make much progress.

The same principle can be applied to magic. It is one thing to read theory, lore, history, and books on cultures and tradition. It’s another to implement all that you’ve learned. Like many witches, the first thing I learned about was energy work. I needed to understand what energy felt like and how it moved. However, it wasn’t until I talked with another local witch that I learned why I needed to practice working with energy, let alone maintaining my personal tradition.

First, there’s the fact that working magic is the art of moving energy and using it to manifest an intent. Second, there’s the fact that magic is also a relationship. It’s the art of looking into yourself and how you are interconnected with the world around you and with whatever spirits or divinities you honor. Tibetan monks didn’t start meditating overnight. It took days of actively trying to center themselves and exploring that relationship.

Another great example of this is found in nearly every town. Each week, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism has a Sabbath, or sacred day. On this day, worshippers gather in one spot to study, pray, and honor their god. This isn’t done simply because it is mandatory. Each member of that faith is trying to bring themselves and their relationships closer to their divinity.

Magic is the same thing. In itself, it is secular, but it comes from within yourself first. For those of us who are pagan, working magic every day and practicing isn’t just a matter of honing skills. It’s a matter of nurturing our relationships with Goddess and God, whatever the names may be.

Practicing magic is beneficial for several reasons: 1) It brings us closer to ourselves and trains us to be honest and open with who we are; 2) It brings us closer to the divinities we honor, allowing us to understand our place in the world and universe on a grander scale; 3) It helps us develop the spiritual “muscle memory” that can help us work magic when meditating for thirty minutes to an hour isn’t practical.

Busy Witch, Practical Witch - The “How”

Any witchy website you come across might give you a whole list of what you “should” do in order to practice and become a “more powerful witch.” That said, I have a couple of things to say. First, you’re not becoming “more powerful.” You’ve always been powerful. You’re learning how to reach your potential. Second, there is no right way or wrong way. It isn’t their tradition. It is yours and yours alone. So instead of telling you what you should do, I’m going to tell you what I do, and what I recommend that you try. If something I recommend doesn’t feel like it’s working after daily attempts over three weeks, drop it and pick up some other method. What works for me might not work for you.

Visualize - Before I get out of bed every morning, I like to encourage myself to use my imagination. For everything. It may seem childish at first, but it is invaluable and has always helped me to become better at visualization. So the first thing I do is mentally pretend that I’m some other creature. A dragon. A robot. A cat. A clay golem. As I begin to move, I see myself as that creature moving. I stretch out my limbs, and I breathe fire and smoke as I yawn. I unfurl my wings and writhe my tail. I see the air swirl around me as I displace it by moving around and getting up, like I’m pushing water around in a bathtub or a still pool. This is simple, requires very little energy, and allows me to more easily visualize on a regular basis.

Devotion and Affirmation - This is something that varies from witch to witch. I’m pagan and feel the need to do a mental devotion each day. Affirmations may be different by the hour, by the day, by the individual. A devotion is a small conversation between yourself and your deity. It’s establishing a personal goal for the day. “Today, I will devote my energy toward making others smile.” It can be as simple or as complex as you’d like, but it also has to be practical - something you know that you can do, but need to turn into a habit. “Today, I will be more organized. I will not procrastinate.” Often, devotions and affirmations go hand in hand. Affirmations are positive cheers for yourself or for the day. “I am calm and collected tonight.” Like working with intent, it is a phrase that can easily be visualized and is seen in the present and not as something in the future. The devotion enhances your relationship and shapes your mannerisms, while your affirmation hones your ability to focus intent and work in the present.

Energy Play - We always have a little bit of time to play. And this is something that can be done discreetly. Each day, try making little energy balls in your hand and manipulating their shapes. Visualize them. Are they solid, well defined spheres of energy, or are they wispy and trail out of your fingers like heavy fog? Try absorbing them or moving them around the room. If you feel comfortable enough, focus on an intent or purpose for it before sending it off into the world in order to create a very basic thought-form. If you’re like me, you’re working with energy constantly. I feel it in and around me all the time, and use that to my benefit. The first sip of coffee in the morning is loaded with magical energy that I’ve channeled into it - the first potion of the day. I do this at work, too, seeing the energy in the food I’m making and allowing myself to funnel feelings of happiness and satisfaction into every dish. The more you do it, the better you get. Since magic uses energy, this helps you to work with it instinctually, making on-the-fly spells simpler and quicker to cast.

The Daily Spell - Once again, every witch is different here. Some witches like myself are constantly casting. Others have more difficulty doing so. If you have the time, set aside a few minutes to do a simple spell. It doesn’t need to be complex. It could be stirring confidence into your coffee, or happiness into the jar of cookies in the kitchen. It could be sweeping negative energies out of the house while you clean. The more you do this, the more reflexive and natural it becomes.

The Meditation - Some will definitely disagree with me on this. Some people are more inclined to feel that meditation must be done every day and must require having a clear and empty mind. That’s completely acceptable for those individuals’ practices. For me, the meditation isn’t clearing the mind. It’s relaxing the mind. Letting my thoughts flow, my limbs relax, and my breathing to become deep. It’s letting go of the past and relinquishing my concern for the future and simply being in the moment. Everyone has a different way of doing this. There are many who find that driving gives them that release. Others find that it’s sitting in a quiet room, or losing themselves in music. For me, it’s the daily shower. With the hot water, the music in the background, and having my body fully exposed so I don’t feel restrained, I allow myself to simply be me, in the moment, without any concerns. My mind can run its course until it is capable of focusing on one thing, and one thing only. That’s what meditation is mainly geared toward - helping narrow focus and training the brain to stop multitasking so that all processing power is trained on one topic. This helps train the witch to focus intent. With all of that processing narrowed on the intent during spellcasting, distractions are less likely to have an impact.

The Joy - This last one is easy in concept, but difficult in action. It’s finding joy in the simple things. And honestly, this is one that you’d have to learn how to do on your own. But I started by choosing one thing each night that I felt went well in the day, no matter how large or small, and focused on why it brought me joy. The sizzle of the pan made me think of my mother making chicken cacciatore when I was younger. The trail of ants reminded me of what it’s like to feel accomplished after working hard. The kiss my boyfriend gave me reminds me that I’m loved. The hummingbird at the feeder showed me that life itself is worth living for.

In Conclusion…

Working magic and practicing it daily need not be a chore. It’s something that you develop into a habit by doing small things. These small things all add up and help us to become better witches and better individuals. If you’re a new witch, incorporate all of these little exercises into what you’re already doing with your research or your time spent with your Book of Shadows. Instead of seeing it as work, see it as playtime intermingled throughout the day!

Unlike cooking or playing an instrument, the core techniques for magic come from within you. If you practice loving yourself and practice embracing the childlike nature within yourself, you’ll find the wisdom is much easier to discover and the magic a natural part of life.

Blessed Be! )O(

AIGHT LET'S CLEAR UP SOME SHIT ABOUT HINDU GODS/GODDESSES

i’ve seen a lot of people mix up certain gods and goddesses with each other and thats totally ok considering that even i, a girl born and raised in a Hindu family, gets shit confused all the time because it’s literally impossible to memorize the millions of gods like there are literally millions literally

SO FIRST UP meet Vishnu

he’s one of the three supreme deities, part of the holy trinity and what not. he’s basically known for being in everything and maintaining the world up to the atomic level and is also in charge of all things good. he’s a real nice guy, super friendly. had three jealous wives but can you blame him i mean it’s not every day you can find such a guy like him.

Brahma

this guy’s your super chill grandpa. also part of the holy trinity, he basically created the universe and was the first to appear and gives humans creativity and knowledge. he gives advice to everyone and is basically everyone’s…. brah. GET IT HAHAHA i am going to Naraka–

Shiva

part of the holy trinity he is referred to as the WORLD DESTROYER. and how does he destroy the world? he dances it into fucking oblivion thats fucking how. fear the arts. literally kinda useless without Shakti though but we’ll get to that later.

aside from his whole world annihilation thing he’s a pretty chill guy who meditates all the time. total family man, loves his wife and all. just don’t get him pissed off ya know.

Krishna

there are literally so many cartoons about this guy that i’ve watched as a kid like he was the biggest little shit alright lemme just say that just think of a spoiled pooh bear except as a little blue human and instead of honey he goes after milk/sweets HE’S ALWAYS HUNGRY I SWEAR EVERY FUCKING STORY IS ABOUT FOOD

anyways he’s basically revered as the most prettiest– thats right, PRETTIEST – god/avatar of Vishnu. this is why i said it was ok to get these guys mixed up since theyre all fucking blue anyways except for the old guy man Brahma my dude are you sure you gave humans enough creativity

but yeah most of the stories are about his childhood but then he becomes a prince and every girl wants him so basically he’s our version of Romeo BUT HE STILL ACTS LIKE A ROYAL PRICK HES LIKE THE EPITOME OF “BOYS WILL BE BOYS” he lifts mountains for sport and beats up/plays around with demons for the fun of it like theyre toys or whatever man i have a lot to say about this kid but i’ll stop

so now that you know about the holy trinity of gods it’s time to learn about the holy trinity of GODDESSES YEAHHH GIRL POWER right under the cut cause shit this post is getting long

Do you have any tips on reading the bible? I always get distracted when I start and I feel as though I'm reading it just to read it and not for understanding...Thanks in advance

I love this question. :) I read from my devotional this morning and I’ll go ahead and take an aspect of it and apply it to this. I think you have to approach Bible reading as a pauper. Be aware that you’re a pauper but don’t have self pity because in God’s eyes that’s a sin. The scripture in the message I read said “Blessed are the poor in spirit…because it is through your poverty that you can enter My Kingdom.” (Matthew 5:3) In your case, I believe your poverty (lack of) is your focus. Everyday God puts us in situations that make us uncomfortable (even if He knows it’s just us wanting to give Him our attention). Our job is to look at this poverty as an opportunity to offer it to Him in prayer. If we are alert to our lack, whatever is bothering us about it, it’s best to be honest with God and ask Him to give us the understanding, patience, perseverance, enlightenment by presenting whatever it is to Him so we can go ahead and give our full attention to reading the Bible. And no matter how many times I’m distracted while I read, I ask God to give me an undivided attention, I end up praising Him and thanking Him and I may even turn to the Psalms before I read anything else. Bible reading becomes boring oftentimes because we think we already know it all. By approaching the Bible with that attitude whether we are aware of it or not, what happens is our pride builds up and blocks us from seeing this about us and it puts our mind in a state of carelessness. When we don’t really care, we’re unprepared to receive any of the Lord’s blessings. But if we humble ourselves and are completely honest with God before we approach Him or the Bible, He meets us halfway and helps us to focus on Him as He is completely focused on us. Always have a heart that hopes to be presented the verse/scripture/message that He intends for you to read. That is faith right there. You already have the Bible in front of you, just pray that wherever You turn to it is exactly what the Father in Heaven planned for you to read. He is always guiding you. Right before I read from my Bible or daily devotional book, I pray and believe that God purposely wants me to read the day’s message, and whatever the “day’s message” is is the perfect one for me because everything in the Bible is good (it serves to teach), and also everything in Christian daily devotionals are good because they are biblical and God-breathed. Pray that He reminds you to offer your lack every single time before you open your Bible. If you feel this lack is such a mountain and it’s turning you away from reading, then it’s clear that it’s become like a mundane routine for you. Every morning, you have to be aware that Satan is always ready to divert your attention. Every day is new and you have to wake up to the fact that you must do whatever it takes to meet God halfway instead of being distracted. Sometimes I set my alarm (my phone) at the opposite side of my bed in my room with my Bible/devotional/journal next to it, so it makes me have to get up, and I know the Father sees that as effort in meeting Him halfway, you have to be aware that everything is an opportunity, I mean EVERYTHING, even those negative thoughts and distractions that come early in the morning….or any time of the day. I put up visualizations and positive messages including scripture all over my room to remind me why I’m doing this, because if your purpose is powerful enough, which it should be because it’s God, then He will empower you with strength to encourage you to grow spiritually. It’s in His will. Sometimes I sleep with clean gym clothes on and when I wake up, right away I run in place or do jumping jacks for 1-2 minutes, then get right into scripture putting on faith that He wanted me to get up that early so I pay attention to what He has for me, because that’s how much He loves me! The secret is taking every thought captive and doing WHATEVER it takes to do something about it, so Satan remains uninvited in your heart and instead you benefit from all God’s blessings, peace, wisdom, and more! Try sleeping with your Bible next to you with a highlighter. Turn your Bible into a journal! Write on it, make it messy with notes, make art out of it. There’s a ton of Christian podcasts on the internet and videos of sermons on YouTube. Listen to/watch them and make a list of as many scriptures as you can and later at night or the following morning when you read your Bible you can review them. You can also write journal entries like something that happened in the past week that certain scriptures would apply to. Writing for me really helps to make a reflection on my relationship with God, because if I only make time to read or listen (and sometimes we don’t really even hear what we listen to or comprehend what we read because we simply were not aware that we weren’t aware), but when I write that’s me communicating to the Lord, I also talk out loud, but writing for me is something I can always go back to to reflect on, it also helps my growth by seeing my point of view from the past. So my point is write as you read, summarize verses and turn them into affirmations, even if it means just rewriting it, it produces a meditation in you, and that’s pleasing to God because He sees that as you praising and worshipping Him. Do all that it takes to help you apply that scripture to your life. There’s something about the first hour of every morning you get up, something very private and personal, that time belongs to God, and that is perfect for giving Him your first and your all. I’m going to make another post about this because I have more ideas, but I wanted to make a quick reply because I’m about 2 weeks behind replying to messages. Thank you for that question. I’ll be praying for you too. God bless you. :)

Glory Days

It’s senior year of high school for the Loser’s Club, but they aren’t the Losers club anymore. They’ve drifted apart, but some type of fate binds them together even though one member isn't  so inclined to make amends. For Eddie Kaspbrak, it becomes his goal to bring their estranged friend Richie back into their lives.

Reddie fic that takes place in 2017, with punk!richie and pitcher!eddie and a lot of teen angst. (968 words)

Chapter 1: New Year, Old You.

The high school seemed much smaller than Eddie remembered from last year. Even though he passed by it on his bike all summer long, standing in front of it now with his backpack slung over one shoulder he felt like it was somehow bowing before him. The worn, grey brick facade, the glossy yellow-brown tile floor, the hospital blue lockers: They had all lost they’re novelty and were as familiar to him as the back of his hand. And it made sense. Eddie was a senior now, the school was his stomping ground.

Learn how to help your friends & family deal with reverse culture shock.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a real post-post (Not counting poems and little texts here & there). It feels good to stretch the fingers and write again.

Tonight I was thinking about what it’s been like to deal with reverse culture shock coming “home” to Texas after spending 7 months in Germany. I think anyone who’s been through something similar could tell you that while we all handle it differently, it isn’t a walk through the park. We could also probably tell you that sometimes we get easily irritated with even the loved ones to whom we return because they just don’t “get it.” Well, in the hopes of alleviating even a little of that stress and tension, I want to share some of my experiences & give some words of wisdom on how to walk alongside someone who is experiencing reverse culture shock, or culture stress.

Culture Shock

Before someone can experience reverse culture shock, they will likely have experienced culture shock first.

Culture shock takes on many forms, depending on your personal background and the culture to which you go. For me, public transportation was a huge one. I remember one day in particular where I couldn’t seem to get on the right bus to get to the central Haubtbahnhof (train station). Tears filled my eyes, my visible frustration slipping down my cheeks one after another. Or the fact that every time I walked into a new place, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect or how to act. Or attempting to order in a different language and being met with a strange look instead of the Cafe Latte I wanted. Or there was the day I got lost in the pouring rain for over an hour. Sometimes at the end of the day I would just lay there in a haze, overwhelmed and exhausted.

But then, one day isn’t quite as difficult as the one before. You begin to learn the bus schedules and the right words to say when ordering the essentials (like coffee, of course). By the end of my time in Germany, which was all too short, I had found and created a new home. I walked (never drove) home with a smile on my face nearly daily. In the “honeymoon, fight, flight, fit” stages of culture shock… You eventually reach fit. You still struggle from time to time like anyone else, no matter where they’re living, but you’re happy. You have friends. A new, beaming, beating, bursting life.

And then one day, you wake up, board a plane, and everything you have come to know and learn and love turns upside down.

The Return

I was excited to be home. I could nearly smell that Chick-Fil-A and feel the warmth and protection from my father’s great big bear hug. Texas was familiar and good, and I was looking forward to the sweet reunions. However, I remember even in the airport staring at all the signs that were suddenly in English and not German, the cars that were massively huge (I never saw a truck in my entire time in Germany), and the strange sensation of being able to understand everything everyone was saying around me. As wonderful as it was to be with family again, I cried myself to sleep my first night back. Toto, we’re not in Germany anymore.

My family could tell you there were times I was irritable. I complained about the excessive friendliness from strangers I wasn’t used to, the small talk, etc. I would get frustrated or sad or overwhelmed and they didn’t understand why. Maybe you’re in the shoes of my family and are at a loss of how to love your loved one well, knowing that they’re going through a whirl of emotions but unsure of how to help. Well, I hope the following points help you.

1. Ask Good Questions.

The truth is, no one is going to care more about my time in Germany than me. That’s just a fact. However, people coming from the field need to process their experiences and that takes a person with a willing ear and patient tongue.

Sit down with them, make space for them to share. Carve out time in your day so that you’re not rushed or pressed for time. Show them that you genuinely care, and this part is important- Learn to ask good questions. (Obviously this is true for the person coming home as well, but I’m just making a point.)

Part of the art of communication is knowing how to ask questions, and this is no exception. It’s overwhelming to try and answer the question, “How was your trip?” or “Did you have a good time?” Sure, the trip was good, and it was also heartbreaking and life transforming and difficult and wonderful. How do you sum up all of your experiences with just one question?

Come prepared with even a few specific questions in mind of things you perhaps already knew they were doing. Ask about the relationships they made, which were the most meaningful, what caused them to grow the most, what was most challenging for them culturally. The list is endless.

Also, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings who have asked me or others those questions. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve asked those once or twice! My advice isn’t flawless and in passing, sometimes those quick questions are appropriate. I just want to encourage you to help your loved one in the best way I know how.

2. Be Patient.

Now, this one certainly goes both ways. Be patient, especially when you don’t understand.

For the one coming home, you must learn to be patient with well-meaning strangers and family and friends. It’s easy to be frustrated by people who don’t understand what you’re experiencing. But how can we fault people for what they’ve never experienced, my friend? You were once where they are. They haven’t walked the roads you’ve walked, known the people you’ve known, or changed they way you surely have. Rather than blaming them for ignorance or misunderstanding, we must humble ourselves and invite them into our hearts. Patiently share with them what you’ve learned and what you’ve seen. Let them in the inner parts of your heart.

For the one receiving the one who has come home, be patient with them when they act strangely to you. For example, being around so many Christians after spending much of my time with unreached people is just simply an adjustment. Even church may feel weird to your loved one, because they’ve seen and experienced how church is done differently across the world.

I remember the first time I went to order a coffee after returning from Germany, all the German words came to mind to order and I froze for a second, realizing I needed to speak English. The realization that I would no longer be ordering in German brought tears to my eyes. My sister, who was with me, maybe didn’t understand the tears fully, but she was patient with my rollercoaster emotions. The point being, there are going to be cultural misunderstandings. Expect that. And then handle them with patience and love.

3. Accept the Change.

When your loved one has returned from overseas, you may find that they are hyper-critical about their home culture. Things they used to love and get excited about they now turn their nose at. You may hear them say things like, “Well in _____ we _____ and it’s so much better.”

The person you knew is still there, but they have changed and the lens through which they see the world has shifted. This is going to affect the way they see most parts of life. They might even relate to you differently than they did before.

If the person is able to handle and deal with their emotions in a healthy manner, then hopefully over time they will also be able to identify parts of their home culture that they really love and appreciate. However, in the meantime, accept that they have changed and they are going to need adjustment time, just as they did when they first left.

And to the one who has returned- Often times we idealize what home will be like when we return. We expect things to be the same and to relate to our friends the same way we once did, and the truth is, life hasn’t stopped for them. Life has kept moving. You are different, and so are they. So let yourself feel what emotions may come when you realize this (Sadness, disbelief, etc) and then learn to accept it. Love people in a new way. Let yourself move with the change. Press on. With each passing day, it’ll get a little easier.

In Conclusion

Some of you may have felt at a loss when your loved one returned and you didn’t know how to handle the difference and friction. Or maybe you’ve just returned and you’ve felt at a loss in how to feel at home in the only place that used to be home. I hope this article has been at least a little bit of a help or encouragement to you.

Growth rarely happens without pain, too. Embrace the growing pains of reverse culture shock. You’ve changed. Good. Now keep changing, keep growing, and don’t forget to be thankful for where God has you today, for a very specific purpose.

Finally, I must mention that without bathing each step of the re-entry to your home culture in prayer, all my advice is in vain. Pray for gratitude. Pray for time to process. Pray for the right people to spend time with that will patiently love you and process with you. And to my friends who are receiving those of us returning, pray just the same. Let God’s Holy Name be glorified in all of it.

The Drunk History of Fall Out Boy Put through 8 layers of Google Translate before being translated back into English.

However, in the summer of 2001, when Joe meets Patrick, seems to be “Yes, I know that music.” As for Patrick, “Yes, I know more about the music.”

“I mean, impossible..Do do? Since the start of the band” Patrick “Yeah, it’s great.” So it was like, ‘Yo, this is a list that is not music store. “
They met in the home of Patrick. When Patrick was wearing pants and socks and hats. Patrick played drums fucking reason, Pete reasons. And they began to play with, uh, asobase covered by another group, "worth the price.”
The Misfits Green Day whore and she was like the Ramones and shit. Joe Pitt, “he played the team will play a few tricks of the fall of the child. He said it was necessary to” change sucked.
Well, Pete and Patrick “Hey, drugs, we need a drummer, cock.” A “as
Drums and Patrick, who is a singer. Patrick was like. "I am the voice of the soul” A “There is unanimous, wait, I said something like,” Hey, look at YeEEEEEEEEEEeeeeAAAAAHHHHhaaaHHHEEaaH! “
I was like, 'Oh my God, it sounds like a soul. ” As soon as I hung up the song and was like, “where TONIIIIiIIIIIiiiiIIIIiiiiiiiiGHT child?”
The “Hello, this is a perfect sex” Fall Out Boy, it was.
And spent the night of his life, noting that a former girlfriend. Night and former girlfriend, everyone wants.
“He called me in the evening, and the company.”
The former girlfriend. He called the former girlfriend the night. It is known that the consumption of the company, that’s true, it’s not a problem.
Pete talks about Patrick and Joe said, “Hey, Hey Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck dooooooope will be armed!” It’s like
To the plate he was called to take him to the grave. They do this without a drummer, three or four positions. 4. The fourth drummer, and this man was, or something like Papa Roach, what, Josh Block Andy Hurley that “there is vanilla, while Tutu received were similar. Praying in the grave. Fuck the record.”
And no, was killed, and it was as if “Pshhh, Bigidalilililililila”. Giraffe “fun fur game, language, click” sound to fuck her own success, killing women.
Damn tattoo, it will be what the heck?
These people know what’s going on, “that it has signed, with the support arms.
"I have a tent, even those that are hard to hell if I sign, I will.” And it was like,
Pete “I like dooooooope hell with this problem, a man called to do in the grave, it is called cork oak forests that would be a good whore.”
The “Sugar Patrick, it must be true for housing should maintain the artistic, so the album’s three songs called Memories [burp] below $ 20 nosebleed”
And it’s one, two, three, three, two, one, three, four, and if there was Dopukuso graphics -5,6,7,8,9,10 crap on this board in 1001 to 4 m Records- 10 million recorded in the lower part Sales of cork trees and 15 million albums!
Brendon Urie is set and nothing to do. “He goooooooooood” Pete said Patrick, it was like “I can do what I want, damn it!”
And Joe, it was like, 'Yeah, it does not matter, a good man. “ Andy was like, 'Cool, yes. ”
And Pete is a man who is beautiful, a lot of time, people are nice, and I want to change that. I fucking want to live “a good man. I’m all right, I want every child to be considered.”
Shut up!
Well, shit.
Pete, my God, I’m very worried that the fuel “is”. Then I saw a picture of a penis, OH, not bad, “it was.”
And that’s not a bad bite, which have to be realistic.
Rolling Stone, there is a question before the Fall Out Boy. In fact, the Fall Out Boy created immediately after a problem with us, annoyed that are like, “If you prick!” This “good scare Blood Rolling Stone cover boy shit yo, let’s go one kilometer from the previous year, I know that a woman is a prostitute involved every continent.” A “as
However, to play a second time, it is not. It seems that "Damn it, we are all part of the continent, it was.” He is really a man. It should not be hit as Pete? “” Oh, as a continent is not armed. “A” as hell! “
Thus, the production of the cork oak, kissing and fabulous 3-4 years. Because it is so large, people go home to get it.
Well, the Fall Out Boy
Patrick, as we know, 'Hey, we’re on top of Cork and many trees, these documents will give you a name. ”
Pitt, who wanted to “Folie Du scene two years.”
“2 madness.”
I’m sorry, I’m sorry.
Fall Out Boy was like, “Hey, if you need a break.” This means that Pete was like, 'Man, you need to go to break. “ Patrick, I need my time to the music. "UHUHUHUHUH.”
The Joe “Well, I need to find a bit 'of the same metal, it takes time to find the man in the art of organic fertilizer. ”
Andy. “I will play some fucking metal band”
As this was: “. Well, this celebration was a great year for two or three years, and 3:30 over three years Bakkukuso We are a man, you must return to virtue”
You stole my beer, what the hell?
“I’m not going to pay for everything for me.”
“Yes, here is the man who paid for.”
“We are Kusodopu that legal shit, I would go armed heights. What fucking sky curtain record. Put famous rock 'n’ roll-saving.”
Thus, two lonely people, Phoenix Light Em Up was with me, if you just “how” You work with a man stood up and saw Kusoavuriru Lavigne. “
He’s been hell on his shirt, throws? Oh my God.
Pete, you’re going to panic, "he, like Pilot! 20, and a nightclub.”
And this bloody story of a pair of all matters.And

a stevetony ficlet on an enemies to friends to lovers au where the insults slowly become endearments. posting on here because it’s actually Not Bad!

“I don’t know what to say,” Steve looks around the immaculately furnished suite and its glorious light. “It’s a generous offer, Mr. Stark.“

“Glad it suits you,” Stark replies flippantly. “I thought it might be nice, y’know, for the team to be together. Bond. Have happy hour sometimes.”

“Good for morale,” Steve agrees. He walks to the floor-to-ceiling window and marvels silently at the view. The evening sun melting along glass and chrome rooftops is beautiful, and he can’t actually believe he’ll wake up to this as long as he’s here.

He turns when he sees Stark’s face vaguely reflected on the glass. “By the way, how much is rent?“

Steve’s never seen a man’s face run through so many emotions in such rapid succession. He’s just about to wonder if he can actually afford to stay in the Tower when Stark shakes his head. “None for you, Cap. Call it a senior discount.”

Spring 2016 Anime First Impressions !!!

OMG OK. So I’ve never done this but but but this season is just sOOO AMAZING I have to do this. I binge watched a ton of first episodes this season and so let’S DO THIS.

1. Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

IMAGINE SHINGEKI MEETS STEAMPUNK MEETS SAMURAI. Everything. Everything is just so amazing like the art the animation the characters the setup the pacing like it just screams QUALITY. WIT Studio x Sawano Hiroyuki is finally back on track (lets not talk about owasera) and omg ok if you liked SNK you have to watch this. It also just has that pretty and retro (???) gundam art style to it that I really enjoyed.

2. Joker Game

Just. Look. At. The. Seiyuu list. (Okay I’m so biased as seiyuu trash I would watch this even if the anime is crap but) It’s actually good ??? Like the first episode build up and all that nOT TO MENTION THE CLIFF HANGER also I’m just a suck for spy-themed stuff that involves plot twists and mind tricks just praying for actually good logic here 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Music is on point !!!! While its true that it might be hard to tell the faces apart I kinda do like the more realistic touch to it (also spies are supposed to be invisible so that’s kinda cool ??)

ok spoilers I watched the second episode it was more meh cuz the pace slowed down a bit let’s hope it picks it up again

3. Boku no Hero Academia

FINALLY !!!! Ok not gonna lie my friend recommended this to me like a week ago and I just binge read the entire manga in one day. If they follow the manga, it’s going to be good. If you like the typical hero-themed (?) stuff you’ll like this. The seiyuus fit really well and they really bring the original manga to life !!

but tbh I’m just waiting for todoroki to appear mY SON

4. Bungou Stray Dogs

I knew nothing about this before watching it (except that it has a ton of ikemens and MIYANO MAMORU) so I thought this was going to be pretty serious but it had quite a bit of comedy in it w I would describe the style as similar to Hamatora, but amped up fight scenes. THE ART IS SO PRETTY AND THE ANIMATION IS SO PRETTY (imo style is more detailed than manga actually) and just a lot of shippable ikemens so yes. I read a bit ahead into the manga and while it’s not exactly my taste it definitely has decent quality/plot/characters. I guess I’ll wait and see how the anime interprets the manga.

5. Sakamoto desu ga

Of course. Of course. I have more complicated feelings about this because I LOVE the manga (and have been following it since it first came out) and it’s literally the most hilarious thing I’ve read. But precisely since it’s so funny in the manga adapting it into an anime is going to be challenging. I think they do a decent job given what they had to work with, but I definitely still find the manga funnier.

6. Kiznaiver

tHE ART IS REALLY PRETTY and the setting is really cool, again alluding to the seven sins. i mean the protag is a moe moe shota so um. It setup/colors/characters/idk kind of reminds me of Gatchaman Crowds, and hopefully it’ll be able to deliver the same quality/depth. But also – and this is just personal taste – I’ve been avoiding a lot of anime with male-directed fanservice because it just bothers me (not !! saying that you should do the same literally do what you want) so depending on how much it continues to have this I might drop it.

7. Mayoiga

?????? ok I mean I will literally watch anything with a bunch of crazy people in it. This feels ~okay~ and the characters seem one-dimensional… and are probably going to be hard to develop because there are so many of them (unless they start killing them off really fast haha) so I’m more skeptical. That being said I’m probably gonna watch the whole thing because the genre w

8. Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge

Probably actually just watching this because Ono Kensho (I MEAN. 20 MINS OF LAZY ONO KENSHO. I CAN LISTEN TO IT FOREVER.) but I can see why people would like it. It’s very relaxing, extremely slow paced, and just something small and fun to watch when you’re bored.

9. SUPER LOVERS

Um. Ok. Um. Oh god it’s been so long since I’ve read the original manga I don’t even remember what happens. Anyways enjoy your dose of bl and I hope they animate all the suggestive scenes i mean what

Title: Valentines and Denial (Part 7)

Fandom: Miraculous Ladybug

Pairing: Adrinette (finally getting back to the pairing I started with yay) with some Ladynoir at the very end

Word count: 2730

Inspired by this post by @lilacblossoms.

What can I say? This is the last part, so I hope you all enjoy it. I’m very grateful to all the people who have sent messages and asks telling me how much they love Valentines and Denial. Your support really means a lot to me, and I probably would never have finished this if it weren’t for you. Thank you so much!

(Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6)

How could her partner, her friend, the boy who said he loved her, laugh at her like this?

________________________

School had never dragged on for an eternity more than it did today. Marinette fidgeted in her seat to the point that it attracted stares from her classmates. Alya had to lean over at one point to ask her to stop because she was jostling their desk. She apologized and tried to sit still, but found herself fidgeting again only a few minutes later. The clock hands traveled agonizingly slow. And when she wasn’t peeking at the clock, she was stealing anxious glances at Adrien. Would he turn out to be Chat Noir after all?

Why had she decided to put this off until after school instead of just getting it out of the way last night?

“Mr.Leto will see you now” Chapter V: “Husband, lover, beast of a man”. [Jared - Multi-chapter]

Original imagine: Imagine: Jared being a married man with children who becomes interested in you.

Written by: A.Wölf.

Previous Chapter(s): [ 1 ]  [ 2 ]  [ 3 ]  [ 4 ]

Notes: LAST CHAPTER, PUDDIN’S. THANK YOU ALL FOR READING! <3

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Art class was an ordeal.
On Monday, after the restaurant fiasco, Miss Clark finally went back to school and to her surprise, Jared ignored her, he didn’t even look at her.
Listening to his voice and being forced to look at him was very hard for her, especially when that same voice had whispered sweet nothings in her ear as he pleasured her and sunk himself into her repeatedly during the affair.
Perhaps the fact that he was ignoring her now was actually a relief.
A few weeks went by and she and Jack seemed to keep growing closer together. Ironically, she felt better now with a boy her own age. She tried to be discrete about it during class but Mr.Leto held a grudge and he’d ridicule Jack every chance he got, he was just hostile towards him.
anonymous asked:
When you were writing SYWTBAW, what made you decide that the Lone One, who was the source of all the pain and death in the universe, was someone who could make a new choice, be forgiven, and be worthy of that forgiveness? (Pt. 1 of 2)
2/2: How do I learn to be a better person and forgive myself for my flaws? The events of the last week scare me and I want to make things better. I feel like the real place to start is myself and that dark part of me that resembles the other darkness.
First part: I don’t know that it was a conscious decision to go down that road. It just seemed to me, at the time, to be the way the story needed to go. (I didn’t know at the time that the concept of the redemption of the Fallen One was in fact for a while one part of a heresy called apokatastasis, apparently propounded by Origen and others, suggesting that all the universe would eventually be reconciled to God when physicality was finally wound down.) (Since then there’s been all kinds of argument over the various types and degrees of the heresy, and whether it was even really a heresy at all. I’m not going to get any further into the issue here, as once you start digging around in it, it’s potentially as much of a time-sink as TV Tropes.)
Though this makes me laugh a little –
As literary critic Maximilian Josef Rudwin illustrates in his book The Devil in Legend and Literature: “[The Devil] has had apologists even among the saints, particularly among the saints of the weaker sex. [OMG, rumbled. Though not as regards sainthood, God wot. –DD] St. Theresa desired that men should not speak ill of the Devil, and pitied him for not being able to love.  St. Thomas Aquinas could hardly be happy, it is said, from thinking of the doom of the Devil and went so far in his pity for the prisoner of the pit as to spend a night in prayer for the pardon and restoration of the dethroned archangel.  ‘O God,’ he prayed, ‘have mercy upon Thy servant the Devil’” (Rudwin 284).
So if both Theresa and Aquinas have been down that road, I’m a bit less concerned about my position. (Not that the Vatican is ever going to concern itself with my case for any reason whatsoever.)  :) …But as I say, at the story end, it just kinda happened.
Now as for the art of forgiving oneself: I am possibly not the best one to ask for advice on this, as once I realize I’ve screwed something up (or begin to suspect I have) I can often be pretty bad about the get-past-beating-yourself-up-and-work-out-what-to-do part.
However. Those dark places, being where they are – right to hand – have their uses. The important thing about them is not to go unconscious about them, as if you do their chances of quietly infecting your actions (or just as bad, predisposing you toward inaction) greatly increase. And those who write about this particular type of struggle (C.S. Lewis, among others) are at pains to point out that it’s not those who flee evil who’re much good at combating it. It’s the ones who acknowledge its presence in their own makeup and who grapple with it daily, who learn the ins and outs of the daily fight, who truly come to understand it well enough to learn its moves and figure out how ti fight it effectively. And without such understanding, there’s no hope of ever winning such a fight in the long, indeed very long, term. You have to engage with the Dark Side (to borrow the Star Wars angle of view) where you find it in yourself, and work to learn its dangers and its weaknesses. The better you understand it, the less power it has to run you.
And as you do come to understand it, that understanding becomes a weapon in your hand. The perception of evil, in terms of the kind that hides down at the bottom of whichever of your behaviors make you most suspicious that it’s there, can act as a sort of “canary in the coal mine” for when you run into them in the outside world. It can start leading you to understanding, not just of what’s going on in your own head, but (sometimes) to others’. And that way lie solutions, eventually, even when the problems are insanely tangled (like the ones facing the US at the moment).
Over the last week, this whole issue has been much with me. The sudden ugly increase in open, gloating cruelty and rage in some quarters has triggered some of my own dark angry places pretty powerfully at times, and the realization of how loudly the canary is singing at the moment is a more or less constant warning for me that response in kind, though it might feel really good, would be completely useless. Nor is the fear any particular use, now or later. I’ve spent a lot of time, hour by hour and day by day, slapping both those sets of responses down until the anger is way better informed and much less contaminated. Then it’ll be useful for powering whatever actions are necessary once a course of action is chosen. But not right now. Right now most of my work has been to hold still and listen to what’s going on, and be as useful as possible to other people while I choose to see what I personally can do to make a difference.
…This is more a rumination at the moment than anything else, and I don’t know how much assistance I can be to you. Like everyone else I’m feeling my way through a worldview that has abruptly become very weird and uncertain, and keeps shifting all the time. “These are the times that try men’s souls,” Tom Paine said about a period that felt just as uncertain and dangerous to the people living in it. And he meant “try” not in its softer modern definition – of being kind of put through the wringer – but in the older sense that metal is “tried” by being melted down for necessary analysis before being cast in some new form.
I think the safest thing to say is: Don’t be too hard on yourself for perceived weaknesses. Especially right now, as all perceptions are likely to be a bit wobbly in the face of such a huge disconnect/disruption. But also: sometimes being and doing better can be achieved with less introspection and more extrospection: by turning attention more toward being better for other people. It’s surprising how often the inside is positively affected by what the outside is doing. Find something useful to be for someone else, and be busy about it.
Hope this helps. :)
