Hey eru!! I really like your art and your lineart is always super smooth! If it's not a bother, could you give tips on how to get smooth lines? :0 Thanks for all the quality content you post!
waahh really!? thank you so much..! I never really notice my lineart looked like that haha! XD Let’s see… I’m still pretty new to Paint Tool Sai myself(well in digital art in general) and on top of that I don’t have a drawing tablet. (´;︵;`) I do it traditionally and then on my computer. In how I draw lineart I do a sketch on paper, scan it to my computer, then do the lineart on sai. :D My brush size for lineart is 3. I use the curve tool in linework layer to trace my sketch then transfer it down to a layer below it. I’m pretty slow when doing the lineart. haha sometimes(well mostly) when I don’t have enough time or I just feel tired I don’t do the lineart digitally. I just do it traditionally with a pen then scan it.
well, I don’t really know much yet, but I think it has something to do with the stabilizer tool to get smooth lines. i don’t have a tablet so it doesn’t work in a mouse, I think. Oh, and when doing the lineart don’t sketch it. Just do it “one fluid motion”(lol I don’t know what term to use). I’m so so sorry if this did not answer your question!! (I’m terrible at explaining things…) But here’s a pic showing a bit on how I do my art for those who want to know. (⁄ ⁄^⁄ᗨ⁄^⁄ ⁄)
We are leaving you this Friday afternoon with a special holiday greeting from our Teen Advisory Board and a few pictures from last night’s meeting. It was our holiday party and a celebration of nearly a year of good times, good friends, and a job well done in 2013. These 8 teens have been at the forefront of teen activities and events at the library for this past year and we’re so lucky to have them with us.
Congratulations and job well done to PPL’s Teen Advisory Board - we’re really looking forward to 2014!
