• *in the lab*
  • Molly:*working*
  • Sherlock:*sighs*
  • Molly:*still working*
  • Sherlock:*sighs longer*
  • Molly:*grits her teeth* What?
  • Sherlock:*tapping his fingers* Bored.
  • Molly:*rolls her eyes* Yeah, well, I'm busy.
  • Sherlock:I think my boredom is far more important right now, Molly. Your patients aren't going anywhere.
  • Molly:*annoyed* What do you expect me to do about it, anyway?
  • Sherlock:*desperate* Give me something to do! Anything. Just...something to occupy my mind.
  • Molly:*exasperated* Anything?
  • Sherlock:*nods* Anything.
  • Molly:*puts down her test tube* Alright. If you can guess what my tattoo is...I'll show it to you. Three guesses.
  • Sherlock:...
  • Sherlock:*scoffs* You don't have a tattoo.
  • Molly:*smiles* Is that one of your guesses?
  • Sherlock:...
  • Sherlock:*frowns*
  • Molly:*chuckles* You did say anything.
  • Sherlock:*clasps his hands* Shh, I'm thinking.
  • Molly:*chuckles*
  • *Molly's flat*
  • Sherlock:*bursts inside; brandishing a piece of paper* I've narrowed it down to twenty possible inkings.
  • Molly:*watching TV* Mmmm.
  • Sherlock:Depending on when you got it done, it could be a cartoon character from your childhood or something more mature. The location is intimate; you're not ashamed but you never bring it up. The name of a celebrity crush, perhaps, if you were inebriated.
  • Molly:*laughs* Really?
  • Sherlock:*bites his lip* You could have decided to get it done after your father's death. A date or name, a feeling of closeness and, again, the hidden location would prohibit emotional questions.
  • Molly:*shakes her head* Nope. My dad wouldn't have wanted that.
  • Sherlock:*sits beside her; tapping the paper* You're fond of cats...or even an anatomically correct heart...or a skull-
  • Molly:*amused* Do you want me to show you instead?
  • Sherlock:*confused* Then, the entire task would be pointless.
  • Molly:*shrugs* Are you bored?
  • Sherlock:*stares at her* I've been thinking about what kind of body art you're hiding under your clothes. I may never be bored again.
  • Molly:*smiles* There's no problem, then.
  • Sherlock:*nods* Mmmm *leans back against the sofa; smirks* Right, clothes off, Hooper. My money's on you having a cat.
  • Molly:*giggles* You're in for a shock, Mr. Holmes.

are the Gems even freaking aware that Steven has started WARGING INTO OTHER HUMAN BEINGS

“The New Lars” is a super disturbing episode tbh

dream-tempo  asked:

I love seeing other people identify Captive Prince as the insanely racist trash that it is, but don't you think your support of racebending fancasts really undermines that? Especially in cases like Ronan Lynch, who is quite clearly canonically caucasian. The most popular fancast is a mixed race boy and lemme tell you, as one myself, I can assure that his experiences would be wholly different, especially as the book takes place in the deep south. It totally ignores char development for aesthetic.

no because the raven cycle doesn’t have a white character lording it over a poc etc etc and I only ever condone race bending fancasts when the group of friends or power dynamics remain unchanged by that. I do not advocate for white gansey and poc ronan because that’s problematic as hell. i have said this before somewhere a while ago…. but yeah. I do not think my support for poc characters undermines by absolute detestation of cp.

also– the raven cycle is a series which uses magic realism as a theme? is it so hard to make characters poc- esp by a white author for example- and NOT make them be racially abused? can that not be a part of their narrative? im a poc too, i get enough racial abuse in real life. i want someone like me to just be allowed to live?? to have a vice others pick on rather than them picking on the  colour of my skin- something i can’t help? why is my colour the thing that people should focus on and make a point of contention when other characters get flaws?  i mean i have a lot of untold meta about the treatment of ronan as a poc wouldnt be that off from the books interpretation anyway (looking @ him and considering him “scary” or a “monster” and declan’s attempt to fit in “wearing suits all the time” to transpose that viewpoint but im late for work and dont have time to go into that dichtonomy)

also a note: i never make poc fancasts for the aesthetic. I think that’s gross?? I only fancast poc to prevent the norm from being “white assumed”. as for the fandom…. well….. I am glad I don’t follow people who think poc exist for their eyes and enjoyment only *cough cough* cs pacat and cp fandom….

Dear Star Trek: Beyond,

Don’t be shit. Or as frustrating as your older sister. Or both shit and frustrating, à la Sinister 2. I’m not expecting you to be as good as your oldest sister, but don’t justify the alarm bells that went off in my head upon reading how rushed the production was. Mmkay? Mmkay.

Many thanks,

He likes to think about Steve. Thinking of Steve makes him feel something he can’t place but it isn’t bad.

I saw some warnings going around and I think it’s a good chance to give a heads-up about how Mei can be overwhelming or confusing during both dialogue and introspection - she thinks out loud and jumps from tangent to tangent, and any discussion she’s a part of might end up getting dragged over several topics, if she even addresses the original subject at all.

To keep her posts actually readable, I’ll do my best to avoid writing massive walls of text or very messy streams of consciousness. Trial posts will bold key phrases, as they often go. And if anyone wants me to break any posts down in shorter terms or single out the important details, I can do that!

On an unrelated note, while Mei is generally friendly, she might? Get a little nasty once she finds out someone’s a murderer? It’s highly context dependent, but if she’s actually upset or angry at someone over a murder she might say Things to them, or at the very least get bitter in her thoughts.
