free shows for all of the year?!

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! PopGun sure did and all that extra sleep and leftover Tofurkey really put us in the holiday spirit.

In honor of seriously the best time of year, we will be giving away the SECOND ANNUAL YEAR’S PASS WITH POPGUN which will include access to all of our 2012 parties, concerts, and crazy fun events in the coming year.

All you have to do to enter is send an email with your full name to gimmie@popgunbooking.com

Wait that’s not all! If we find out the selected winner shared this contest on any social networks, we’ll include a +1 for the entire year in the prize. That way you can always bring a friend, you know just in case.

The winner will be announced on Friday, December 2nd at 6:00 PM EST.

Good luck and Happy Holidays!

xoxo PopGun

Calendar, last short comic of 2011 for Popgun 5 which will (hopefully) come out some time later. I drew the first 4 pages in June, then gave up on it for months and finished the last 4 in December. Not sure why. I must note here that it’s not directly autobiographical, I have a nose of most adequate proportions (to put it mildly), it’s just that physical dysfunction seemed like the most obvious, admittedly cheap, narrative crowbar for guilt & self-loathing.

Popgun on Amazon

Image Comics publishes an anthology series called Popgun. 400+ page massive tomes filled with a wide variety of stories and art styles. Some contributors are big name creators while others are from exciting new talents that you may hear big things from in the future. To date there have been four volumes of the book published. I have been lucky enough to be in three of them. You can pick those three up on Amazon by clicking on the images below.

This happened.

The inaugural, Harvey Award-winning volume of the Eisner Award-winning series is now available on just about any electronic device you want, courtesy of those fine folks at Comixology and Image Comics.
