polymer clay charm

Studio Ghibli movie inspired food charms, made from polymer clay.

I’ve been watching a lot of Ghibli films lately (just finished From Up on Poppy Hill - loved it), and I had a stroke of brilliance - turn the foods from the movies into charms! These are being made for Florida SuperCon in July, which means they won’t be available online until after (if there are any left).

If anyone wants one now, however, you can drop me a message in my ask box. :)

The two foods here are the bread and egg from Laputa: Castle in the Sky and the ramen bowl from Ponyo. It’s a slightly more cartoony style that I’m trying, as I want it to almost look like the food in the movies while trying to be somewhat realistic. The ham in the ramen bowls will be tweaked, as it didn’t darken the way I’d wanted it to. Other than that, I’m pleased with the style.

Commission for a lovely client~ She wanted two large sets of SU themed stud earrings and a huge garnet pendant! The earrings are 1″ and the pendant is 1 1/2″x1 1/2″ big! I hope she loves everything! ♥

Request from my live stream last night - a bottle charm full of Nightlock berries.

I’ve never seen the Hunger Games movie or read the books, so this was done using google images and feedback on the stream. Sorry if it’s not 100% spot on!

Go find all of the eeveelution charms, now in my shop!
