William S. Burroughs or Edgar Rice Burroughs?

I’ve been reading a bit of Edgar Rice Burroughs in the last year or two - and while I’ve been enjoying it the Pellucidar books especially. I’m going to have to give it to William S. Burroughs - his Red Night Trilogy (Cities of the Red Night, The Place of Dead Roads, The Western Lands) are so much fun. They are some of my favorite books of all time - the Sci-fi occult weird time traveling mind bending nature of the series is really what separates them from everything else - I really do think those books get lost because people always read Naked Lunch and just never bother to look at anything else.
