“Dear Uncle Sam” 16″ x 20″ Wiley , 2015 Acryilic Ink on Canvas http://weheartit.com/entry/179427727/via/dripartanddesigns   Dear Uncle Sam. 2015. Acrylic Ink on Canvas 16" X 20" …….Does this make you uncomfortable ? When you look at this I want you to visualize yourself as a representative of every person influenced by decisions made by the government. With this imagery in mind, now, I want you to visualize yourself trapped in a box and screaming every opinion every person has ever made about these decisions throughout your life. These words….muffled and inaudible for the government to hear because, to some people, the uncomfortable nature of the topic prevents them to be heard….. Either that or they are completely silenced. Well, I want this piece to make you uncomfortable or overcome being uncomfortable because it targets many political issues and various political parties. If you were the only representative of the people and the government was a living persona of Uncle Sam…. What is the one thing you would ask? The one thing you would say? Have you ever done anything to proactively make your decisions heard or do you simply state an opinion? (Don’t comment in reply to these questions. I know it’s a touchy subject, but I’m not looking for arguments or debates on this post in relation to this matter) Because the point behind this piece is just to add food for your thought. Just think about it.

Degree show collage progress 😊
My aim is to create a series of works drawing together themes of the political world and the animal world.

'I also endeavour to generate surrealist collages that reflect on the over abundant nature and saturation of media imagery. I mainly use found images that I can warp and reform to create a completely different message. Tangible, manipulated, reconstructed’
