This is fucking amazing

Lessons I learned from Pokemon

1.Everyone needs a hobby, and there’s something satisfying about a complete set.

2.Teaching our young ones about Evolution is a really, really good thing.

3.We should strive for a world where we can keep our doors unlocked… but knocking is something we should keep.

4.We should have heroes with titles like “Professor” and “Scientist”.

5.Every villain is an adult. This isn’t to say adults are evil, this is to say the evil is learned, not born.

6.If your progress doesn’t include environmentalism, it’s not progress.

7.It’s okay to restart if you dislike any of your choices.

(This includes your answer to the question, “Are you a boy? or are you a girl? Though, to be fair, the question itself IS a little old fashioned.)

8.Build your team thoughtfully.

9.Visit Home, wherever that is, when you can.

10.It’s okay to have a best friend that fits on your shoulder.

11.We should never be charged money to keep the ones we love alive.

12.It’s okay to lose. It’s okay to lose. It is perfectly okay to lose.

13.Everyone leaves home eventually. Some people leave home more than once.

14.Let children play outside. Let children pet the animals. Let children experience and learn about the wondrous, wide world around them.

15.Few things can allow us to grow like travelling.

16. Friendly rivalries are great things– as long as they stay friendly!

17. Don’t ride your bike indoors.

This is definitely me every game. “I can travel far and wide, catch and train from the most adorable to most dangerous of creatures, and Through determination I SHALL not be defeated by this door way…….!!!!”

“Getting off my bike now.”

IN “POKÉMON: THE FIRST MOVIE” WHEN ASH WAS TURNED TO STONE, THE ENGLISH DUB VOICE ACTRESS FOR MISTY WAS ASKED TO RECORD MULTIPLE TWO-SYLLABLE REACTION LINES EXPRESSING MISTY’S FEAR AND SADNESS.

THE LINE THAT WAS EVENTUALLY CHOSEN WAS “PLEASE, NO!” ONE OF THE ALTERNATE LINES SHE RECORDED WAS A REFERENCE TO A DEBT ASH OWED TO HER FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE SERIES: “MY BIKE!”
