Hello lovely peeps. Recently I received a question from a follower asking me why I have been posting more knitting links between my crochet posts. This blog did start as a crochet blog because that’s what I loved doing. Over the years that I’ve been blogging you will have noticed that I have taught myself to dye fibre, spin and make my own yarn, weave, and eventually knit my own handspun. This iteration of crafting interest has meant that my blog has changed slightly to mirror these interests. That is why there is a little more knitting-love in my posts. I love everything about yarn, fibre, wool, weaving, knitting and crochet! What do you think? Are you happy seeing a range of fibre posts on my blog, or are you here only for the Crochet? I’d love to know.
Yesterday I attended a weaving workshop at Natalie Miller’s studio in Robertson NSW. It was an awesome day. Here is my finished tapestry weave. My own handsoun yarn is in there as well. I’m going to frame this. New crafting obsession.
Lovely Saturday afternoon spent #spinning on the deck yesterday. Here’s the washed and skeined outcome. I dyed the #BFL fibre myself and am pretty amazedd by the colour combo. The lilac is beautiful!

I’ve been working away at it slowly now for a month or two, but dreaming about it for a lot longer. I will be selling my own handspun, as well as showcasing some other amazing boutique yarns (watch this space!) I’ve only got the handspun live right now, but things will be a'moving in my little shop, so please pop over and visit me if you get a chance.
My latest work. This is #handspun merino and silk granny stripe blanket for a member of my team at work.
Geeta is an amazing person. She’s leaving my team for an acting opportunity that she definately deserves. She told me the other day that she thinks we knew each other in another life. We have an absolute ball together which can be a rare thing at work. I’m blessed to have met her. 😌
