please reevaluate your priorities

If you’re a Christian you’re going to offend people at some point. They’re going to hate you, mock you, make false accusations about you, and persecute you. It’s not a matter of “if” it’s going to happen, only “when”.

If your first priority is to please people and not God, you need to reevaluate your priorities and ask yourself if you really are saved. Human beings are not who you are going to answer to when your life is over, God is.

John 15:18

If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.

Matthew 5:11

God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.

Mark 8:35

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.

good to see you're back to posting stuff here. i don't know how i survived without my regularly scheduled dose of bloodstained houses

If my blog is all you depend on for survival, please, reevaluate your priorities.

I don’t know how such a large chunk of the Steven Universe fandom can apparently be so horrible and toxic when love and acceptance and forgiveness is such a huge theme of the show. I get it, it’s kind of a gross ship and you don’t have to like it, but what the hell, guys? How can you honestly value a fictional character over a real person? How is one person’s weird ship hurting you personally?

This is the “Someone Drew Rose Skinny (years before we saw her full body)” debacle all over again. If you’re really wishing death on someone, ON A REAL ACTUAL PERSON WHO PROBABLY HAS A FAMILY AND LOVED ONES, because you think they have a bad ship or whatever, please reevaluate your priorities. I’m not even really mad, you guys. I’m just really sad and disappointed that such a wonderful show inspires people to act so hateful sometimes.

Dean finally telling Cas he mattered and affirming that his actions were noble and smart instead of yelling at him or being mad.

Dean straightforwardly telling Cas he was important and a part of the family (Which is Winchester speak for “I love you”).

Cas getting that relief and closure before Dean went off to “be a bomb”.

There’s no reason to be mad about this scene if you care about Cas at all. If you’re too busy being mad that they didn’t start making out on screen instead of realizing how beautiful and important that moment was for Cas and the relationship he has with Dean (and Sam for that matter), then please reevaluate your priorities as a person. Destiel will never be canon. What’s important is that Cas is finally being treated with long due love and respect.

If the reason you want a mixed race kid is because you think they are cuter than monoracial kids, please reevaluate your priorities. You are most likely basing this assumption of conventionally cute mixed kids off of stereotypes, and plus there is no need to pit kids, nixed or otherwise, into a competition against eachother to see who is the cutest. They’re only kids.

a request to all of my fellow white people:

when you see a post talking about all white people and start to get annoyed, ask yourself this question: are my potential hurt feelings more important than their fear for their life?

if the answer is no, take a deep breath and continue on with your life. if the answer is yes, please reevaluate your priorities.

It will forever surprise me how immature and stupid some exo fans are. Are you seriously going to threaten Chorong’s life because she is (supposedly) dating Suho, who doesn’t know you exist? Please reevaluate your lives and priorities because goddamn you girls have problems.

How old are you kids? Can you please grow the fuck up? It’s none of your business if an idol is dating or not. I honestly feel bad for the sane exo fans because they have to deal with the stupidity of the rest of the fandom. All you’re doing is making you and your fandom look bad.
