Sorry for the rotated pictures, but yeah. Allow me to explain.
So at my high school we have this tradition that seniors get to wear crowns to the school rallies. The seniors take this very seriously and try to make a new crown for every rally they attend, personalizing them to fit the theme of the rally or something personal to them. If they have artistic skills, people make their own, but if you don’t have art skills or just don’t have the time, you can pay a student in the Art Honors Society to make you a crown (for five dollars if you don’t ask at the last minute). Next week is the Senior Farewell Rally (even though the seniors don’t graduate for another two weeks), so the Juniors (that’s me!) get to make their first crowns and move to the Senior section of the gym. Since I don’t have any art skills, I decided to have my first crown commissioned and I’M SO HAPPY I DID.
I PAID FIVE DOLLARS AND GOT BACK THIS WATERCOLOR MASTERPIECE OF A CROWN AND I WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE ELSE WHO LOVES YURI!!! ON ICE BECAUSE IT’S SO FREAKING AMAZING!
I feel like Yuri Plisetsky because next week is my Senior debut and it’s going to be as amazing as his.
Credits for the art on the crown go to Caroline Yau, please do not remove them if you repost/republish.
look at this boy. look at him. this is the moment where simon is saying he wants to find camille and talk to her. notice the distant haunted eyes, how his chin trembles, how he swallows like you do when you’re trying so hard not to cry and shakes his head no. he’s remembering what camille did, how simon felt in his arms with no heartbeat and it hurts. he confirms it a few min after and turns his pain into anger, reminds simon of what happened. he cares too much, he’s in too deep. you can’t tell me that’s not love.
“One of my first memories is seeing the stars from the cockpit of my mom’s A-Wing. Must’ve been two or three years old at the time. I sat in her lap, straddling the flight stick. The view of the galaxy through the canopy has always stuck in my mind.” - Poe Dameron, Flight Log
